Stayed for 4 days. Best hotel with all facilities Very excellent staff. Hotel arenaged for the best taxi service where we went all around Da Nang. Nice breakfast buffet. Travellers from india this one is the best hotel.

The hotel has a superb location. The staff is courteous and responsive. They arranged raincoats for us and were kind enough to extend their restaurant hours as our flight got delayed. Highly recommended

Very large 2 bedroom unit with comfortable beds. Pool and private beach are clean and beautiful. All receptionists and servers are very courteous. Quiet location about 3km away from the tourist beach area. Easy to catch a cab for 60VND ($2.50). Drawbacks: probably due to recovery from pandemic, the resort is quite empty and certain ground area is not well kept compared to its potential.

Our room I feel had the best view of the resort. Pros: -Room was clean -Spacious -beautiful view of beach (can even see Lady Buddha from afar) -buffet breakfast was great -staff was nice, always smiling, helpful & accommodating -beach accessible -pools were great -could take a taxi into town or use grab Cons: -wish was more closer to shops or had a mini mart of its own -wish the salon/massage was open during our stay -wish the slide was open during our stay (pools were however still great) -could only use kitchen in the room if stayed I think more than 1 week

This was a good property well located and maintained. Some problem with bathroom fittings and vegetarian food options. Otherwise, great place to stay with nice helpful staff. Also, bit of language problem as all across Vietnam.

Actually this is my 2nd times go back to stay at Olalani Resort. Because our family likes the environment and fresh air there. The resort is clean and staff there is friendly and helpful. But this time when we return, there is a slight disappointed because certain area & facility still yet to upgrade. We hope next year when we visit again....most of the facility have been upgraded. It’s a nice place with good environment, but we booked a three bed rooms suite with dinning room and washing machine, but all electric stuff on list cannot be used, the washing machine cannot switch on as the staffs said they have laundry service and can’t use the microwave and the staff said they have restaurant 😅, so we can’t use for simple cooking or washing our clothes.

This property in not worth the price they charge. The staff at the propoerty is unfriendly, the property looks haggard, most of the things don't work. I was not given the room as I was promised, when I requested the staff for a change at the first instance, it was not accepted. After a lot of discussion, I was told that since I did a late check in although I had paid 100% in advance, no room were available on the first day. On the second day I was shifted to a room with a view that i expected, while the hotel staff did offer a complementary spa session, however i spent a lot of energy unnecessarily on discussion which is the last things that you want to do on a holiday. I would not recommend this hotel.

Do Not BOOK This hotel! it is barely 3 stars.. ”
Room is big , but very dark, not enough light staff can't speak good English, a lot of services not available. Kids room is awful, our kids were scared to go there. GYM is under repair, airport transfer is very expensive, no shuttle service, balcony has no chairs, just one restaurant is open with limited menu ( you need to go to the city by taxi to have variety ) . Conclusion is, service and facility is not 5 star, barely 3 stars only..

Horrible Customer Service”
Imagine checking in to this hotel then discovering on your own that ALL of the Amenities ARE CLOSED for the entire duration of your stay (3days) with no plans to reopen (due to corona virus). So NO USE OF POOL, gym, spa, restaurants, bar, tiki bar. Yup all of the amenities that you paid for were not available to you. When requested to cancel reservation after 1 night, they refuse. When requested to adjust price to compensate you for the lack of amenities, they refuse. I WOULD NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Am I wrong to think that a hotel business would be obligated to inform their guests prior to arrival or upon arrival that unfortunately all of the amenities that were advertised as included in your hotel stay would be closed!? Terrible hotel service.

Short Break DaNang”
We were pleasantly surprised with this resort. The price was cheaper than most of the resorts in Da Nang but the room was large and clean. The beach was better than some and the swimming pools were good. The only thing it seemed to lack was a crowed of people and a mini bar in the room. I would recommend this resort to anybody for sure.

Large and clean pool near to the beach”
The resort is locacated in the surverb area of Da Nang. There are few restaurants and grocery shops around the resort. The most convenient way to buy daily use is to go Lotte Mart costed 60-80K VND by taxi. Taxi will come to the hotel within 2 mins and you will find the taxi in front of Lotte Mart very easily. You have various choice in breakfast and taste was good. The pool is very clean and managed well by service person.

A person can find places that offer more for the money, a better location or finer facilities. As a place to relax and enjoy, there are few better than Olalani. A word to the wise: each morning's breakfast is great. After a miserable dinner experience, we found it both healthy and wise to dine at one of the other hotels or independent establishments.

It was very good, but there are a few things they could do to improve the place. 1st of all, you are right on this beautiful beach, warm water, and they won't let you go in past your waist...what??? I've been to alot of beach resorts , like most of us, and that is ridiculous. Your on the beach for Christ's sake. The water is not trecherous, no big swells, no rip tides, nothing! Put up a big "Swim At Own Risk" sign if you are worried. Next, you need a small "snack shack" where you can buy chips, cookies, etc. as you are far from town. Lastly, you need some big screen tv's at the bar. I realize it is a beautiful bar, but I like watching sports while I'm having a beer, sorry. But all in all, it's a great place, really, really great staff. I would definitely go back.

Decent but not good”
I just finished my 3-night stay at the Olalani. Our family was 2 adults and 3 small kids. The best thing about the Olalani was the location not far from the busy parts of Danang and also not too far from Hoian. Also, the swimming pool was fairly large and good. Lastly, the staff were attentive and very willing to help (esp. the person at the Guest Relations Desk). As for the downside (1) The kids club (which is important to us with 3 small kids) was a big disappointment. It was very very small with no scheduled daily activities of any kind. (2) The 2 bedroom condo we had was large and spacious, but it appeared quite worn in places. Also, there was a kitchen with a microwave oven, stove, sink, etc., but we were not permitted to use the microwave and stove, which seems ridiculous (what good is having the microwave and stove if you cannot use them). (3) The Orchid Spa at the Olalani presenty offers 50% discount on the regular price for guest. However, the massage was not good (other family members mentioned the same thing) Also, I was not permitted to pay for the massage later together with the hotel bill. I had to go to my room to get my wallet and come back to pay for the massage. All in all, it was a decent stay, but not very satisfactory.

Not worth the money you pay”
Location was beautiful and so was our room but I wouldn't call this 5 star. There was no pool bar, no drinks service when you were at the pool, the room lacked information such as room service menu, spa information or basic info such as how to get to and from danang or Hoi Ann. The staff were lovely but lack of English meant they couldn't help us much. We booked a 4 night stay hoping for rest an relaxation due to our work but 3 out of 4 mornings we were awoken by works in the hotel and people hammering etc before 8am despite complaining previously. Unless u watch the drinks being poured they came out not tasting like alcohol. Next time I would stay elsewhere or even in Hoi Ann. They don't offer a shuttle to anywhere and there is no travel desk. we stayed at many hotels in Vietnam during our holiday and this was definitely the most expensive but probably the one we liked the least
