Find hotels near Old Train Station in Dalat, Vietnam

The idea was to stay in this hotel for a great view from their integrated spa (costs extra), alas the jacuzzi was broken, so half our plan was dead. The staff was super friendly and helpful, but sometimes their info didn't quite match. Room with a view, ample breakfast, food where all good. There's not much to find close to the hotel, need a taxi or bike to go downtown or other places. The ride on the old train from nearby station was great.

The room is great. Staffs are super helpful. Bikes are ready for rent. The scenery is the best. Hotel is about 5km from Dalat Market, but that’s what it takes to get the beautiful Mountain View. If the breakfast buffet has more diversity, this place will be the perfect place to stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We booked two rooms for our family of 4. We were so glad that we chose this hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. As the matter of fact, the entire hotel is very clean. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. We ate dinners at the restaurant at the hotel. They offer 6 course set menu for roughly $6 a person. The food is delicious and clean. The service is excellent. The hotel a short taxi drive from downtown. We could easily walk to the lake and the old train station every day. Our teenager loves to shop at Vinatex Mart next door to the hotel. They have great quality clothes at very reasonable price.

what a lovely escape for the crazy of vietnam! my husband and i were so surprised by dalat's pleasant climate and serene environment, and staying at dalat cadasa resort only added to our wonderful experience here. the resort has sprawling gardens with enormous, manicured flowerbeds, and their charming old french villas have been nicely restored. our villa room had a huge four-poster bed, with super comfortable bedding and mattress, and large windows that opened into the flesh-smelling garden. the hotel staff was very helpful arranging motorbike hires (the best way to see dalat!) and point out interesting sights in the area. we hope to return to dalat again and will definitely book this property again.

We originally booked for 3 nights, and ended up staying for 7. We've been in SEA for several weeks, and this hotel was an absolute gem to find. Every single staff member was above-and-beyond kind and helpful (and especially so when my husband got sick one day). The rooms are luxurious - treat yourself to a balcony, the view is fabulous! Beds were ridiculousy comfortable with super clean linens. Free bottled water each day, plus you've got a mini bar and hot water kettle in the room. Motorbike rentals were awesome as well - the price was great, and the bikes were some of the nicest we've rented. Showers were clean, nice, and had hot water. The location is slightly out of the touristy/busy part of town, which is great for noise, and not entirely too far to walk/cab. The motorbikes made everything easily accessible. They also arranged one of their drivers to take us to the airport when we left Da Lat (at a very reasonable rate). Everything about our stay here was fantastic.

The hotel is clean, fairly new, simple furniture, small toilets. Interior of white paint makes the space brighter. Reception is polite and enthusiastic. Simple breakfast, only bread with eggs, noodles (hủ tiếu) or pho. Located near old train station that take just 5 minutes walking or 10 minutes taxi to central market.

My first hotel in Dalat is located in the centre of the city so it gets very noisy at night. I decided to move to a hotel that is a little further away from the central. Dalat Train Villa is very close to the old train station. I only paid less than half of the regular price because it was not the peak season and the area was not the mostly visited area. I thought I would get a room but instead I had an apartment (studio) to myself, which is much bigger than I thought and it is very very nice. There are only four apartments in the estate. Each apartment has a kitchen, a living room and a bedroom. It is perfect for a family. The owner is a very beautiful Vietnamese woman who speaks fluent English. The breakfast is amazing. The only thing I would warn other visitors is: it is very cold at night so you'd better wear something warm like a jacket or a sweater. I rented a scooter to go around Dalat. Walking is doable but a little too much.

Stayed 3 nights here in December 2017. The hotel is immaculately presented - new, clean and comfortable - and staff friendly and helpful. Vietnamese breakfast of either noodle soup or fried egg and baguette was included. It is approx 15 mins walk to the main part of the city centre, but the walk is scenic along the lake and past the cinema and bowling complex at the lake, and there are restaurants and cafes in the vicinity if you prefer. It is up a bit of a hill (unpaved road) from the main road which runs along the lake, but only about 3 mins walk and nice views on way up/down. Taxis can pick you up and drop you off right into the hotel car park by using the top road, and Phuong Trang (FUTA) buses from the coast arrive at the bus station not far from the hotel and include a free drop off at your hotel, so Queen Villa is easy to reach upon arrival. If you plan to use Sinh Tourist or the like, they won't collect you from this location, but I only paid about £1.20/37,000VND for a taxi.

we finished our stay in vietnam with 3 nights in dalat - the resort is absolutely fabulous, consists of several little buildings with about 5 or 6 rooms each and separated by lovely gardens. the rooms are large and well decorated - we even had a little balcony - and the bathroom/shower are magnificent. we walked from the hotel to the old train station where we "travelled" to a huge pagoda some 7 kms from there. we also walked to the town center, it took us about an hour, all very accessible from the hote. in the evenings, we had dinner in the vietnamese restaurant in the hotel - the food was excellent and the prices very reasonable. altogether, an excellent resort.

The hotel is located in a quite area, around 2 kilometres from the market. If you have a car or motorcycle, it's convenient. The room was clean, new and fully functional. The staff told me that it has just operated for 2 months. The breakfast was simply and variety enough for 2-night stay. The staff was friendly and speak basic English. Good hotel in the very nice city.

Very nice accommodation set inside the the compound of the Royal Palace Number 1. You are inside a beautiful quiet parc and have direct access to the Royal Palace which is just a 3 minutes walk away from the villa. When we stayed, the restaurant was still under construction, so in the morning we were transferred to the Du Parc Dalat Hotel to have breakfast from their buffet. If you enjoy living in a historic building with many pictures of the Bao Dai (name of the last emperor of Vietnam) this is a perfect place to stay. Interior is very classic with beautiful bathroom and high quality fittings.

Clean, large and comfort room. Shower room is large, hot shower and full- scale of amenity. Wi-fi is speedy, stable and covering the place. The owner took care of the guest by herself. She is friendly and helpful. Even the communication is limited but the Google translater is helpful somehow. Location in the the Google map needs correction.

The front desk staff were a lot friendlier and smiled more than the coffee shop staff. But I had no complaints. Love the wooden style room. Although there are open gaps on the ceiling to the other room (you can literally hear the guests next door and vice versa), everything else was perfect for me. 👍🏽

We loved Pensee Gueshouse! Stayed fir 3 nights. Room was huge wuth a balcony and great views. Very clean and everything provided including big fluffy blankets! Couple who own it are really lovely although don't speak English. They get aroynd it by using their phone to interpret and an English speaking neighbour to help arrange tours. Can rent a motorbike for VND100k per day. A little far from centre but as Da Lat us so spread out this serms irrelevant as everything is a bit of a way from everything else! Cant recommend highly enough

Breakfast was amazing. Rooms are OK, only downside is the location. Had to take a Grab or rent a motorbike to get to somewhere

Exterior is impressive. The bathroom was very good with separate shower. We were told breakfast was 7:30 to 9:00 but when we arrived at 8:20 there was no one there, but the cleaning lady offered coffee and bread with eggs, which were fantastic (not as much oil as in other hotels). Power went out for awhile but didn’t impact us much except for WiFi. The afternoon receptionist didn’t speak much English. The final bill for the night was $37 US and felt like we got an OK value for that price.

I paid room, and when I arrived, the staff said full, and didn’t see my payment. Booking didn’t cancel. So I paid room, but not stay. Sorry for negative review, but it’s true.

Overall are good! The lady receptionist are friendly and helpful but can't speak English. She was voluntary to give us a hand when she saw us waiting for taxi outside, she went in the hotel and call the cab for us. Gracious! About 10 minutes walking distance from the Big C and train station. No water bottle, coffee and tea provided.

would recommend this hotel to all. rooms are clean,spacious and very good view as it is on a hill top. the only set back is it is slightly away from the town centre. it is however near to the flower park and other attractions except shopping and food. but if you want space, privacy and cleaner air this is the place! the price is also worth every dollar! breakfast is also quite good. will want to stay here again.

Is very old hotel with two newly renovated rooms at ground floor. Locate near old train station and far away to center and eateries especially 3 Thang 2 street is very happening. We booked 2 VIP rooms with 2 Queen beds each. Which means can stay upto 8 adults. However they charged us extra lumpsum for extra adults for 2 nights which I feel is not appropriate. Reason given is we registered only 4 adults which is rubbish. We didnt argue and just pay.

We experienced the warmest treatment in Dalat during our 16-day tour! I and girlfriend took night bus from Ho Chi Minh and arrived at the hotel at 3am when the stars were still shining in the sky. The villa is owned by a local couple aged 60 or so, we called them adopted mama and papa, at that time, mama and papa were not awaken, they got up, opened the door and prepared additional breakfast and Vietnamese coffee for us. Mama also booked bus tickets for us and papa even went to the company to take the tickets for us! Before we rented their motorbike to turn around the city, papa had already added nearly full gasoline to the tank! The villa is beautiful and the surroundings is great with a small hill located nearby, we walked in the forest and took some photos with the fresh air and warm light, and nearby are also many french-stylish villas and flowers! The only issue is this villa is about 8km away from the city center, but if you ride a motorbike, you can experiences more special Dalat! The room is very clean, comfortable, we really enjoyed the stay!

We traveled from HCMC during night. The bus should come at 6am, but it was 1,5 hours earlier. The man at house was very heplful and he opened a room for us at 5 am just for half day extra money.

I really love it. It is a very holiday in Vietnam that time and I know all of the room is Dalat is fully booked. But the hotel keeps the price resonable. It is more than I expected. Thanks :)

Watch out especially in the bathroom as the tiles are incredibly slippery. Like ice rink slippery. Also the bathroom has no fan, causing it to house a lot of fungus colonies. When opening the fridge all electrical wiring was laying loose inside. Found cigarette butts in the hallway. Positive point is that the room is quite spacious, but definitely doesn’t reserve 3 stars rating.

It will be ok if you go alone for staying dorm. I think when you go with family, it is not a good choice for booking private room. But the staff is friend and the view is beautiful.
