I would highly recommend this place,very convenient specially travelling with kids.The staffs are very accomodating,friendly,meet all your needs.A very clean organized and safe place with a cozy pool a few steps as we stayed in one of the bungalows.Accessible if one has to find restaurant or a grocery store ,not that far just take a tricycle or just a walk distance little dark by night but otherwise safe and fine.Laundry can be litt expensive but worth it and fast very clean.Little defects with appliances will be fixed immediately.Love the place just like a home.

Great stay and very helpful friendly staff”
My partner and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at this resort, so much so that we decided to extend for an extra night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and well presented. The main beach is only a 10-15 minute walk away or you can flag down a trike within a minute of stepping onto the main road - they'll try and charge you 100 peso for 2, but if you ask them to take you for 50 peso we never had one turn us down. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Really nice place”
We moved to Olivia from another place after staying 1 day where they were using deep well water and the salty tap water (showering, brushing teeth) was making me and my girlfriend nauseous. They even said please test the water before you decide and they let me go check. They also allowed us to check in 5 hours early. Vanilla Sky Restaurant is right down the road and is just a few minutes to walk. The meatballs and pizza were amazing. If I ever go to Alona again I will definitely be cutting out availability of Olivia Apartments again :)

Our stay was perfect. Nothing to fault. We stayed in an executive apartment, with its own secluded swimming pool and sun beds adjacent. The apartment was very spacious, with 2 double bedrooms, kitchen and dining area, large and comfortable lounge, separate toilet and shower. The aircon is very effective, the beds comfortable, WiFi fully functional and TV with many national and international channels. Of particular note is how quiet is the resort, yet quite close by Alona with all it has to offer by way of the beach, cafes, restaurants, bars, shops, diving schools etc. The new Bohol airport is close, only some 6-8 minutes away by taxi and very accessible. It’s a great package at Olivia, including warm, friendly and helpful staff, and the price is right.

We loved the place and will come again. We rented the 2 bedroom self contained villa were able to cook our own meals relax and made ourselves home for 3 days. Perfect place to plan and execute your day trips. Pool was clean and we swam everyday. In fact there is nothing to complain about. Great place

After a long and tiring day (since our ferry was delayed), we almost checked-in around 10:45 PM. When we entered the property, the security guard took us inside our room and WOAH, the room was simply amazing. Air-con was left open in advance, the bed was made properly and small necessities (coffee maker, water bottles, utensils) were already there. Special mention for the lady at reception who was very helpful. She booked our return ferry tickets and was very cooperative when we requested her to have an extended check out at 2:00 PM (versus the usual check out time of 12 Noon). All in all, I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Olivia and will definitely look forward to stay there again upon my next visit to Bohol.

Living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. You will have everything you need here. Staff were helpful, daily cleaning. Kitchenette and some furniture look old and dirty. Water pressure was not good. If you are going to spend a lot of time at the beach, I would not recommend this place because it is around 15 minutes walk away and walking under the burning sun a few times a day is really hard. Tuk-tuk prices from the harbour to the hotel is 350 pesos and from hotel to Alona Beach area is 50 pesos. You can rent a scooter for 400 pesos a day. There is a 7/11 at the Alona Beach area. Overall this hotel is really good, especially if you compare it to other places, except its location.

This was my second stay in this amazing property. Staff is very supportive and are always ready to assist you. However, there are certain areas where improvement is required : 1. Refrigerator was very old and did not have effective cooling 2. Sofa looked untidy 3. There was no mirror in the washroom 4. Non-availability of Bidet in washroom Overall, a wonderful stay.

Pretty Gardens - Unit need updating!”
We loved the setting, the gardens and pool area is pretty and well maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The units, unfortunately, needed updating and one of our units had an issue with the power plugs. Only some of them were functioning. The units have a kitchen and little lounge for couples to enjoy.

Nice and quite area in Panglao”
Not on the beach side but only 10 minutes walk to the beach. It’s pretty nice area. It’s good for kids family live. But the room is not so clean and the shower was very disappointed for pressure, just so little water coming out. And my room have been found 3 cockroaches and the are like thumb size. If you are afraid of those small animals then I’m not recommend you choose here.

When i got here i already ask the front desk if theres a room near the pool coz my room is quiet far from the pool and want to relax she just told me to drive to the pool instead of walking...Lol sarcasm! Room has 2 AC but none of them work good. No hot shower.far from the main road. Just dont want to stay here again.

What a Gem of a Resort”
Olivia Resort is a gem; everything is super. The location is excellent being away from the noisy Alona Beach but close enough to walk there. The resort operate a shuttle bus service to take guests to and from the beach, or indeed to any other location on the Island. I cannot praise the staff highly enough. They are all friendly and as helpful as possible. In particular Oliver is super, and was a great help to me personally with running me around, arranging ferry tickets and generally with good advice. This is a modern and recently built resort, well planned, beautiful gardens, pretty painted buildings and a great leisure style swimming pool with sunloungers and a covered patio area with table and chairs. All accommodation is spacious, with effective aircon, has all mod cons, a great well equipped kitchen for self catering, extremely clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and I slept well, especially as it is so quiet at night. I particularly enjoyed to stay in the very well appointed Executive Apartments. Clearly management are keen to offer a great holiday experience here, with the Resort well maintained, and a convenient reception office for enquiries, guidance and service. I think the official rating understates Olivia Resort, and I for one will make it my Resort of choice when I return to Bohol.

Olivia resort is excellently maintained, looks brand new. The rooms are comfortable with decent furniture. The only downside of our stay was the charge for extra person staying in the room, even if no extra bed is required - 1000peso per person (Considering there are other hotels charging 999 peso per night for 2 people and including motorbike). Olivia resort had security guard at the entrance, and CCTV throughout the property. Definitely worth staying at!

Since the baby arrived, having a kitchen is a top priority. At first, I was hesitant to even browse at the webpage of this hotel/serviced apartment because it is rated as 2 star. I had an unpleasant experience the first time I stayed at a 3 star hotel in Boracay; cleanliness is below par. Since then I always pick a 4 or 5 star hotel for accommodation. But since a kitchenette is a must have, I checked out Olivia and I was surprise with the amount of its positive feedbacks. So we decided to give it a try and we are so glad we did! We stayed at their executive apartment; it is huge and clean. It is not fancy but it is comfortable. The kitchenette is adequate for preparing quick meals. Location to Alona beach is just a few minutes tuk-tuk ride away; it costs 50 pesos. More so, the staff are very helpful. I would like to commend Oliver for taking extra mile to meet our requests. Next time we go to Panglao, we will stay here again.

It was just great. We cannot find fault, and will recommend to others without hesitation. Its got great facilities, lovely pool, very attentive and helpful staff, modern and clean, quiet with beach and nightlife close but not too close to be noisy. All local amenities are within a short walk, or Olivia has hotel transport readily available.
