Great that probably only weed shop eas across the street. Unfortunately on Agoda it says I get an Air conditioning room. The owner said that agoda made a mistake. And gave me a fan room instead. I'm not sure if he was lying nit he definitely had ac rooms

we can an highly recomend this guestouse with a very, very, helpfull and nice staff of owners that helped us a lot. A huge thanks to them. The returant and food is worth a vsit, very tasty. Dont miss to try their pizza. And also not expensive. its situated in the center of Trat near the nightmarket. Every Friday there is also a nice local market on the street outside the Orchid guesthouse resturant

The owners ofthislittle guesthouse are just grerat and so helpful. far beyond what you could ask for. The rooms are smallbut clean and neat. we had a doubble room and a family room and it was very good and worked great. The guesthouse is situated in the middle of Trat and every Saturday there is a nightmarket at the street infront of the resturant. The food at the resturant is to recomend, tasty and not expensive. To try their pizza is a must, crispy and great. If you trsvel to Trat, dont miss this exelent resturant and guesthouse

A nice place in the,centre of town whit several day/night market for food, clothes whatever you need.its a quiet place in a nice Thai house whit a garden whit funature and tables. The owners can help you whit everything about the islands and transport and speak very well English.

I find it nice relaxed well kept wooden Thai house whit a garden where you can chill, eat, etc.around the corner of the street. It's quiet everything clean and the bathroom is pretty big. Also the owners are very friendly and helpful and help around if you need to now about the surrounding province and activities you can do around trat and the islands.English lanquages isn't a problem at all.

Booked a night in Trat on my way to Cambodia and ended up spending two. Orchid is a great place to stay down a quieter street but within walking distance to the market (3 mins) & the lake (10 mins). The location couldn’t be better, you could easily walk to and from the bus station too. My room was a small single with shared bathroom. It was clean, had good lighting, a plug socket next to the bed and mosquito nets on the windows and over the bed. The fan on full speed was perfectly good to keep me cool at night. The shared bathroom works well. It was clean and always available. I guess both these things are dependent on other guests but for my stay, no issues. The owners are great. We had some good conversation about the world and I had a lovely Thai omelette for breakfast. The coffee was also excellent. Orchid offers incredible value in a rustic traditional house with beautiful garden. Thank you Orchid 🙏

Nice but...”
We've spent here one night while staying in Trat. Generally, the room was just OK, maybe not ideally clean as well as bathroom was. Bathroom was outside of the building and wasn't so clean, also e.g. the soap was missing. But in general for this price it was acceptable and understandable. Outside there's area with two hammocks and benches to spend the evening. When we realised we'll need few more nights in Trat bcs of personal reasons and asked for the possibility of that, it turned out that only one room was available which price was a little bit higher. Knowing that the other Homestay has cheaper offer on the same level we've decided to change the place. However we didn't get the purpose of the host's comments, who was generally weird and grumpy. They were kind rude and unnecessary, comments like in the other place "we will see the difference ". It turned out that our new place was much cleaner, with big area to rest and with very kind host. I still don't get the purpose of host behaving like this.

Orchid guesthouse is the perfect place to spend few or more days in Trat: it is super central to the bus station and the street food markets. We stayed there one night before crossing the border to Cambodia and spent a very delightful night with Dirk the owner who gave us many good advices. Jum is a very cute Thai woman who cooks delicious both western and Thai breakfasts 🍳😄 I definitely recommend this place! 😊
