          Lovely hotel on tiny quiet island ”

          Only a few hotels and almost no travelers on this quiet gem in the Andaman. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice beach when tide is in. Many fish. Hornbills come to visit from the surrounding forest. A very pleasant surprise!

          Basic accommodation on the beach”

          Separated from the beach by only a small road, this hotel caters to both foreign and Thai guests, and is owned by the same family as the seafood restaurant next door. Bunk beds were a great option with our 2 children. Good budget choice for families looking for the basics.

          Depends on what you seek”

          Property is like all properties on this stretch behind a road with separates the beach. Pakmeng beach wakes up roughly at 10:30am, before it is a roll of dices to find some food or else. Staff and JJ are very helpful. So if you into a cute dog this is your place.

          Bad for everything”

          Once we reached with 4adults & 2kids, the owner directed asked for additional 600baht for 2 childrens(aged13 & 6). The room got badly smell, a lots of insects & mosquitos, luckily I got my own mosquito repellent but my mother in law was itchy whole body after slept. The wooden doors for main & toilet both rooms also couldn't close up nicely, hard push a bit also scared broken it. Some towels are worn & no grooming set, some more no elecyricity supply in the morning. All I can say, this is the worst n ever hotel/motel/lodge/home stay I ever never stay before.

          Basic ”

          Pakmeng Beach resort is a small motel like line of rooms perpendicular to the main road and beach. The room was fine, nothing special, and large. Chairs were outside the door. Lots of restaurants in the area. Little English spoken in the area. Longtail boats were available for hire to the islands. Motorbikes and bicycles were for rent in the office. Good WiFi. No breakfast. Hot water.

          We had a great time staying at the guesthouse. It was directly across from the beach and had great seafood beach restaurants directly beside it. They were ready for breakfast at 7:30am which suited us because we were travelling with our 19 month old. Very friendly and kind staff. We will be returning again soon!

          The bedroom was spacious decoration for honeymoon period and very comfortable. We heard absolutely no street noise despite being facing onto a busy road. Bathroom was also quite nice. I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

          It's not a resort!it's a hostel!”

          The place was closed when we arrived ,the owner was not around and is not aware we have a booking even though booking was made 7days upon our arrival. Our driver has to call her and she send someone to open the room. Just open the room and then that's it. Island tour to Morakot cave is closed (the main purpose of our trip) and the town is like a ghost town . Agoda team ,please visit and review yourself first before recommending any rooms. It will affect your credibility.
