Awesome stay & services!!”
Pros- Room furnitures & equipments were good and cleann, make u feel u r staying in a castle. The services by the staff & hotel is one thing to compliment.. I asked for i special birthday arrangement by the hotel, i.e. special room view & late check out. I got both and on top of that the hotel gave us birthday cake as a complimentary gift!! Still remember the name for the hotel staff who arranged for this.. was Mila from room reservation dept. Cons- Nothing much but if theres one thing i can suggest is that probably to upgrade the swimming pool to infinity pool. Currently they have normal pool which nothing is wrong about it.. just that nowadays most of 4,5 stars hotel have infinity pool. Even more the swimming pool now has a very nice view facing to the lake, which guests would enjoy it better with the infinity pool.

Pro: great staff from the door till the kitchen and everyone taking the extra mile of arranging a special treatment for my anniversary assistance to little toddlers and are attentive to customer requirement Spacious Room and luxurious feeling breakfast is outstanding and the high tea feels like a royale Con: The hotel is dated but i believe the management is working hard on repairing and renovating the hotel to keep its charms

Still got good deal even though booked it at last minute, spacious room and bathroom, nice setup with good scenery view from my room, the breakfast was awesome with lots of varieties to choose from and staff were helpful.

Worth the stay”
Staff were very friendly, the hotel was old but room were very nice and big. The only hassle for us was the lift was a bit far from our room and also the facilities.

Everything is majestic except for the pool”
For all my life I have heard the beauty of Palace of The Golden Horses. The place is as beautiful as I would have imagined it to be. However, the pool and amenities near pool was not taken care properly. It was not as glorious as the hotel lobby would be. Nevertheless, our short romantic gateway there was absolutely wonderful. It is a very romantic place to be.

Nice pool and breakfast spread”
The rooms were a bit run down. The pool and our rooms were a bit far though. Plus point, the pool was huge with slides, kids and adult pool. The breakfast spread was also delicious with lots of local and western choices.

Pros: Amazing Room and the hotel design even its really ageing but, it still have the originality looks more like British palace. Cons:The breakfast quite pricey and i sent my blazer and dress for dry cleaning and its smell musty,i have to use a lot of perfume .And they over pressed it, you can see the press kinda destroy the material.

The hotel directory by means layout is quite scatter. The hotel management should have maps layout of the hotel. Signboard only is not enough as the hotels is big. The pool is fun with the slides. But one of the slides need to improve in terms of friction speed. And the side of the pool has sharp edges which can injured people. Overall it is a nice hotel

checked in to a deluxe king room around 8pm..the room was fine except for the aircond was not cooling..called the operator to have it checked, a technician came and adjust the vent, told us to give time for the room to cool down, after 1 hour, still the same. different technician came, and they were quite rude and told us that aircond temperature was not properly adjusted and they left. few minutes after that, the reception called and offer us to change room, it was midnight but since i could not sleep, i agreed to it. shifted to a different room, it was very2 far away from the first room and on a different floor. i thought the new room was better, turns out the lights near the bed and the toilet light could not be switched off! technician came again, they manually unscrewed the bulb, but for the toilet light nothing can be done as the problem was with their “central” switches. we were advised to just close the toilet door and luckily the toilet door is quite light-tight so room was not bright as i like to sleep in the dark. my stay in this hotel could have been better if you check the rooms before removing your guests from a faulty one. pool was very far away, there is no nearby lift to get there, we have to walk around the hotel to get to it. but the pool is huge, clean eventhough it is quite old. breakfast was quite nice with wide selection. overall this hotel is not that bad considering it was built some 20 years ago. if the small glitches are well handled, i would recommend this place.
