I was at the Palmers Lodge Hillspring at Willesden Green for 10 days, and I would highly recommend for those who are traveling in London with budget in mind to stay at this place. It is value for money, located strategically to Underground station, bus stops to easily access to anywhere in London. I was staying at the 14-bed room for female only and everyone was respectful of each other and keep the place clean and dont make too much noise in the room. The room was located at the ground floor and the shower at the lower ground floor. The bathroom and toilets are spacious and clean. The daily breakfast was amazing - freshly baked croissant, toasted bread, butter, jem, juices, tea, coffee machine and green apple. There's a kitchen for guests to use and cook - with cooker, over, microwave, fridge and you can get the pots and pans from the reception. There's a lounge with TV and sofas, pool table, pingpong table, and a bar for guests to enjoy themselves. I highly recommend it!!!!

Great hostel”
Have stayed here a few times for weekends in London, and will use this place again in future. If you're a solo traveller or group of friends not wanting to pay London hotel prices, and you don't mind sharing a dorm, this place is a really good alternative. Curtained bunk beds make for a good level of privacy even in a large dorm. Bring a lock for the storage locker under your bed. Showers and toilet areas are very clean. Willesden Green tube station is only 10 minutes or so away on foot. There is a large communal area with plenty of seating, a bar and pool and table tennis tables.

You have breakfast, cereals, porridge, bread, jams, croissant, milk and with hot drinks to choose from coffe machine, juices. Full cutlery, plates plenty of places to seat outside and inside. You have kitchen to prepare own meal. Nice tv room with clean sofa, chairs. Hostel is situated in quiet area. In the room cupboard witch you can lock with own small padlock. Near bed side light and sockets . I stay two weeks, first i paid £68, second week £87 both breakfast included for 4 beds share. I been very happy for what i get it.

It was clean, confortable and with a very good environment. It is 5 min walking from undergound station and main street with all kind of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. The hostel is really good, especially for the price, and compared to other places in London. I would recomend this 100%!

We had a great stay, the breakfast was good and the cleaning team is trying hard to keep everything clean. Helpful staff at the reception. You can leave your bags in the luggage room after you've checked out. The underground is only 7min walk from the hostel and there is a bus stop in front of the hostel.

Highly value for money”
Awesome breakfast. There's croissant, toast, cereal, milk, juice, coffee and fruit. The bed, shower and toilet are very clean. There's a kitchen which does get pretty crowded during meal time and after dinner. A 5pound deposit is required to rent pot/pan from the front desk. Wifi is strong, even if accessed inside the room. The washer and dryer in the delicated room beside the kitchen looks old and dirty so we didn't attempt to do any laundry there. The hostel is located in a quiet neighbourhood, the level of security to enter the hostel pleasantly surprised me. It's a very safe place. Willesden Green is right at the end of zone 2 by metro. Isn't as conveninent compared to staying in places like St Partrick's but still pretty accessible. Overall it's highly value for money if you are looking for budget accoms. Personally, I would pick this hostel again over airbnb/hotel.

The location is pretty good; about 10mins walk from tube station but there is also a bus stop right in front of the hostel. It's not too far from central London so you don't have to spend long time to commute. The staffs are friendly and helpful, and all the facilities are working properly as I hope. And the wifi is great. Definitely recommended place to stay!

This lodge really recommended. Easy excess by public transport. Simple breakfast is provided . My family really enjoy staying at Palmers Lodge. Shared kitchen is available. No towel provided but u can rent with a cost of GBP1.50 per towel. Even NO HALAL FOOD around that area. It doesn't matter to us since we make sure to take dinner before we come back. The nearest underground station is Willesden Green. You can also take a bus to Oxford Street which is really-really convenience. Just cross the street and wait for the bus number 98 towards Holborn and the bus will take you to Oxford Street via Edgware Road & Marble Arch. The staffs are very helpful. Luggage storage facilities also available and is FREE.

First time staying in a hostel”
It's the first time I've tried this as a cheap alternative to a hotel, and really enjoyed it. The privacy offered by the curtained bunks work well; of course there are always people coming and going with so many to a room, but you can tell that people are doing their best to be quiet in the room itself and I slept solidly all night. Good facilities, showers and toilets were clean, room felt secure with lockable trunks under the bed, power socket and a light in your bunk. Walk to the tube station is easy. Bar area was nice and might try the pool table next time.

I enjoyed staying here, friendly staff, good cleanliness in room and toilets, breakfast was all right and free, just the self-catering kitchen was kind of small and closes at 23:00, but well equipped though with all you need.

Clean, Affordable and Good Location”
The place is really clean and tidy. Food provided is also very good. I love the croissant. The location of the hostel is very near. Train station is 8 mins walk away and there are bus stop right in front of the hostel. You can get to victoria area by taking bus 98 and then switch to other buses along the way. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Most importantly, the bed is actually quite comfortable.
