Quiet Location in Patong with Super Friendly Staff”
Very quiet location even though the resort is situated within a short walk of the hectic night scene of Bang-La Road. (Unfortunately some of the guests were not so quiet on some evenings during our 7-night stay in a balcony room overlooking the pool. They chose to ignore the 8pm pool closure rule and splash around until early hours of the morning.) All staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Our safe required attention on three occasions - staff quickly resolved the issues. The room was spacious and clean and the king-size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was served poolside and a substantial variety of food was available. A very good choice of hotel - a short walk to the beach, to the Jungceylon Shopping Centre. and the Baan Zan wet market where you can purchase cheap fresh seafood, then go upstairs to the restaurant area to have it cooked to your liking.

This place would deserve more than 5 stars under all the aspects. Quick replies by the Customer Service (via email in my case), spacious, clean, bright room, BOTH pillow and mattress very comfortable (it rarely happened to me to find both comfortable), nice balcony to smoke, friendly Staff, everything working good, great value for money (I had a great deal though). I want to comment a previous review mentioning "a lack of maintenance"... yes, it might be true... the ice compartment of the mini bar needed some defrosting, the tiles in the shower are somehow damaged, the shower water hose is a bit ruined... but who cares? I repeat... great value for money! I would surely search for availability at Palmyra, if I was going back to Patong.

Great value and location. ”
Hotel is located close to Bangla Rd and Patong Beach. My room rate was very inexpensive for such a nice room . I stayed 6 nights , room is quite large , air conditioning works really well , had a fridge , a microwave and tea /coffee . Tv has many options including Netflix and YouTube. Breakfast was included in my room rate and the selection of food was reasonably extensive with differing options each day. The staff were all friendly , the room was cleaned perfectly every day. The Covid restrictions in place are well observed by staff . The pool is a really refreshing and there are towels offered for you to use at the pool or take to the beach. I can't really complain about my stay , great value and thoroughly enjoyed . Thankyou .

Cheap Clean Safe and Best Location”
The resort is so peaceful. The buffet breakfast has so many items and they are so delicious, we were overeating every morning. Staffs are super helpful. They takes complain seriously and fix it in no time. The location is perfect and near to patong walking street, patong beach, simon cabaret show, so many food stalls and restaurants, local massages, local cloths etc. The resort is worth much more than the price. I was at peace leaving all the items in room because the staffs are very professional. They clean and changes in the room everyday. I only have good words for this resort.

We looked at places to stay near Patong Beach and compared to Palmyra. It was only a 5-7 minute stroll to the beach so it ended up ideal. We found it better to stay near the main road since it is closer to shops and we spent more time shopping and eating as compared to going to the beach. Shops not as good when you stay on the beach access street. There were rooms that opened up to the pool straight outside the room. They were in hot demand and we got a 2nd storey room. If you want the pool access rooms you should ask for them and pay a little more. The breakfast was plentiful with all options required for Western travelers. Weekend Markets are the best for everything not food. Baanzaan within walking distance is great for food. We travelled to Patong during Songkran on purpose and it was great to celebrate this occasion with the locals. It is a great time to to travel to Patong. Huge water fights on Bangla Road were the highlight. Everyong gets soaked! Great fun!

Old but with newish building that is well designed and managed.”
My Deluxe King size bed pool view with breakfast was in newer 7 storey building. Nice new bathtub though a little short even for a 165cm guy. Base bed with legs permitting good cleaning under with comfortable mattress and pillows with quilt but sheet was removed after first night which I needed when room got warm as they did provide me top floor as requested but aircond seemed inefficient but refrigerant top up as I reported on 2nd day at reception. Reception was efficient and helpful but arrival young man never offer to assist with my luggage, just walked me to lift door? Light inside front door could not be switched off as long as key card in slot. So on 2nd night when I called reception, was told that but need light bulb unscrewed or remove whereby I said I can do if chair enough to allow me access which I did. Saw some reviewers state pool too small? My experience is this was good and adequate. With 3 stone elephants spouting water, man-made water fall at one end, push button water jet spray seats at one corner and a child safe water spouting section. Gym was small and old but adequate. Breakfast was basic but well refilled with offer of 2 daily cooked menu. Housekeeping was efficient and quiet. However, wifi was poor and scary as using it started affecting both my new tablet and mobile screens but fortunately I had unlimited data on my mobile which I used. Management need to look into this odd phenomenon. My stay was relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable due to efficient, well trained staff and management.

Gem hotel in Central Patong”
Room with pool view is cool. Nice view from overlooking veranda, big clean room with TV, fridge, hair dryer and bathroom with bathtub. Wifi is available but slghtly slow in dwnloading photos, documents. The pool is awesome with reasonably sized gym. Buffet Breakfast is adequate for the cost paid. About 5 min walking to patong beach. Plenty of massage outlet, bangla street and big C Junkceylon, hardrock cafe are within walking distance.

Great Value”
This was such great value for money. The staff were all friendly, tub in the bathroom, bed was comfortable, the ac was nice and cold, shower pressure was awesome, they had a bidet sprayer (for the bum) which is a must for me to feel super clean, and the buffet breakfast was ok. Stay on floor 5 or above with a pool view so you can see the sunsets a bit better in the distance. Only 5 min walking to the beach.

Really friendly employees, super location and nice facilities. Good soft bed with nice pillows. Amazing walk in shower, and good size room and balcony with nice seats. The area is very busy and a lot is happening, but because it is tucked away from the main street it's very silent and really class! The pool is very nice, with enough sun beds. The view of the mountains / see and sunset is incredible. Checked in another hotel today, and everything looks very ugly after staying in hotel Clover :). Also you can rent a bike from the lady in the hallway, very easy procedure and good price (around 300 TBT per day). The wifi is insanely fast as well! Would really recommend!

Palmyra... I booked this hotel as I wanted a SHA+ hotel to spend my 14 days and no more before moving on from Phuket and out of the sandbox. I have been to Phuket before and my goal was to move on to Satun in the south as soon as my 14 days were up so all I needed was a room. I stayed my two weeks in the sandbox at Palmyra and booked one more week after that because I liked it so much. The Palmyra was so much more then just a room, the staff was very helpful in every way and they actually went beyond their duties for me and many other customers more then once. I am an early bird and I saw the pool being cleaned every morning as I prepared for my morning walk, the pool is 1.40 deep. The hotel itself was very clean and and if extra cleaning was needed they made it faster then I could get from the lobby and up to my room :) Breakfast buffé had not that much to chose from but they always offered you a menu to order from if you wanted something more. I know some people think the wifi is not good but I learned that the hotel have more then one wifi to use, change when you get a room and use the "pool" wifi. I will come back for sure . Thanks to the staff for a wonderful holiday from me, my wife and little Anda

Palmyra Patong ”
If you want simplicity and relaxation with your significant other or with family, Palmyra Patong resort is it. It is within comfortable walking location to the beach, restaurants (aplenty,) street markets and bars. The staffs are friendly and respectful, the front desk seemed very knowledgeable with my traveling needs and eagerly assisted. This place is a happy medium between being away from the noise and conveniently close enough to go on and enjoy what Patong has to offer.

Very good hotel”
We arrived late and the receptionist was so kind. She gave us a free upgrade! The room was massive and clean. The breakfast was yummy, they have a variety of choices. You can order what you want. They have a bar but it wasn't open when we were there. Overall, it was a great stay and we appreciate the staff for being so courteous and helpful.

The staff are friendly and the place is very clean. The staff ensure that our towels are replaced daily with a new one. The villa is good for family traveler, you can have your own privacy specially of you have little child child. Thanks to the staff providing cot to my grand daughter. Palmyra Resort Patong Pros: Nice location (7-11 across the road & 5 minutes walk to food stalls outside Beyond Resort). Nice outside entrance environment. Friendly reception staff (look for Mr Boss). No room deposit needed. Luggage storing service. Smooth check in check out. Welcome drink. Spacious airy rooms with pool view from balcony. Nice closet. Comfortable bed. Nice shower in big bathroom. Breakfast is decent with variety. Nice pool with decent prices at pool bar. Decent gym. Need to improve: Not enough English TV channels. Wifi poor unstable Overall a really good value for money hotel that deserves another visit.

Everything about this Resort is amazing. 10 minutes walking distance to patong beach and bangla street. The room is so big. Cleanliness is super awesome. Really nice staff. And breakfast amazing taste and option. Swimming pool so clean. The price is so reasonable. Nothing to complaint.

best quiet location in the heart of Patong”
I really enjoy staying at the Palmyra. A great breakfast buffet, i had another room on the top floor so I could see the ocean and it is nice and quiet as it set back from the road. Will continue to support this hotel as they were open all the time during covid and offered great prices. Not sure if i can afford to stay once they return to regular pricing, but I hope so. Staff is super friendly. pool is nice and a short walk to the beach, markets, restaurants, and walking street. Highly recommended.

Great hotel for a short stayover”
We only had one night at this hotel but it did not disappoint. The Deluxe Pool View room was huge with a lovely bathroom with shower and a deep bath. The room was clean, two bottles of water were provided and the staff were very friendly.
