Located at the southeastern corner of Phuket, Cape Panwa was pretty quiet during our visit. Sri Panwa was also not very occupied - there were much more staff than visitors. Stayed in the Pool Suite. Room was comfortable, with an iPod connected to speakers available with decent music selection. Toiletries quite complete. Bath tub comfortably fits 2 people. Bed is comfy. Pillows slightly soft. Pool is ok. Pool suites face about east, so early risers can see the sunrise. Room service food quality was not too good, and the chicken wings were really half the usual size you would expect. Games room has table tennis, foosball, pool, playstation (i think). But it closes very early - when we wanted to go in at 845pm, it was already closed. Resort is very good for couples on honeymoon who do not wish to explore the touristy areas. For the price, you'd want to stay in the villa as much as possible. Tuk tuk service available on demand. Cape Panwa area has some decent massage and dining places. Staff were very, very courteous. 5/5 for the staff!

Although it's away from the convenience of the likes of Patong/Karon/Kata, Bandara's location offers more of a serene feel. Well, if u're looking for nightlife then Panwa Cape isn't for u. Family Mart with ATM is just down the street, with hotel buggy always standby to send whenever we need it. Money exchange is beside the mart, with a couple down-to-earth restaurants within the vicinity. There are few food stalls/carts on the nearby Ao Yon beach while Laem Panwa Viewpoint is about 5 - 10 minutes away - where we were able to catch stunning sunset. Sure, there are cheaper options in Panwa itself, but what sets Bandara apart from these hotels/ apartments is the service and staffs. The staffs are always smiling and helpful. Hotel staffs Andrew and Tee (thank you!) are always engaging. They would always greet and ask if everything is ok. The private beach is quiet and clean enough. Last but not least, the view from the room is just amazing!!

Fantastic hotel - probably one of the best we have stayed at. Staff extremely professional and friendly (no job too small). Lovely secluded villa which made us want to simply stay in and relax all day (had to pinch ourselves to go out and explore). Nice amenities, great location and views. Also, great food at nearby restaurants especially Cafe Panwa/Guest House (opposite Radisson). My only two slight suggestions would be firstly extending the festival visiting hours as you arrive in 30min giving you only 2.5hrs to shop and explore - maybe changing to 2 shuttles going at 11am and returning at 4pm would allow better time?. Secondly the Ao Yon Beach was small and secluded, but also very dirty and filled with rubbish (we'd seen all we wanted after about 15min - the 4 hours allocated is overkill imho). Maybe switching to a cleaner beach would be an idea instead (even if it is a bit further out). However, these are only minor things and it's worth remembering that the Regent Villas themselves were fantastic and we would definitely stay here again if/when we revisit. We would also recommend the Regent Cape Panwa to all our friends/family.

Beautiful views from the sea view rooms. There are no elevators in this hotel. They compensate by having a buggy bring you 1-2 floors down by the side of the hotel. However to go to breakfast cafe, beach or pool, you have to descend a final 1-2 flights of uncovered steps outside. I was pretty worried for my parents who were in their late 70s and early 80s especially when it was raining and the steps were wet but thankfully they managed without incident. I would really recommend that an elevator/escalator is installed in this property. Otherwise there was a fantastic cheap restaurant on the beach next to the hotel and diva spa in Cape Panwa (300 baht taxi ride away) where a 1 hour Thai massage is 300 baht. I would be back but maybe with younger guests.

As has been mentioned in other reviews, one major disadvantage of this location on the Panwa Cape is the low tide in the middle of the day, but it is not so bad in the morning or late afternoon. For me, its not a big deal because you can just hang out in the pool during the low tide. They also offer free water activities, which is nice during high tide. Others have also said that the food is too expensive, and I agree that it is expensive, but not exceedingly so for a 5-star hotel, and the food is gourmet, very delicious. For more affordable, but still high quality options, I recommend Sawasdee restaurant across the street and a bit to the left. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and clean. The pool areas were the same. The breakfast buffet was pretty good too. Besides the beautiful hotel itself, and the beach front location, I think the best thing about the Radisson Blu is the great service of every single staff member. They are so kind, warm, and welcoming!

I was welcomed by a friendly lady with a welcome drink. This hotel is located at the south region of Phuket island, which is Panwa Cape. It has its private beach area. They have free shuttle to Central Festival 3 times a day with prior booking. You can enjoy the good sunset scenery while swimming in the pool. It's recommended for couple to go for honeymoon.

The stay at Cape Panwa Hotel was awesome. Huge room even for a junior suite, pleasant surroundings and environment, private beach. It would be great if there's room wifi for the junior suite though. Nonetheless wifi in public areas are strong. The hotel room is clean and the staff always replenishes the necessities. The TV is mounted such that it can be rotated to face either the sofa or the bed which are at 90 degrees angle to each other. The bed was the size of 2 super single beds. Because we had other plans we didn't manage to get the free boat ride out to coral island and didn't manage to utilize the free complimentary drinks. Cape Panwa Hotel has a sister hotel nearby (about 15mins walk) and they provide free shuttle services to and fro the Kantary Hotel every 20mins. There is a night market, several delicious restaurants and a convenience store at the exterior of Kantary Hotel. The staff at Kantary seem to be more friendly and helpful even though they know that we're not from Kantary. Overall, Cape Panwa is a good hotel to relax and chill. Private beach was beautiful. They even provided a tram (5mins ride) from the hotel lobby to the beach.

If you’re after privacy, tranquility and a few days away from the hustle and bustle of Phuket, Davina is for you. The rooms are huge, the views magic and staff a joy. Hire a scooter and explore Panwa and you will not be disappointed. No bar or restaurant. But turn left or right on the beach and enjoy some authentic Thai and there are a number of convenience stores 10 minutes away, or 2 if by scooter.

nested in a serene and tranquil environment, cape panwa, as opposed to the bustling patong beach, is the perfect quiet beach getaway. the hotel has direct beach access and provides guests with free wifi. activities such as canoeing, cycling and snorkeling equipment are available from hotel. the hotel runs a complimentary shuttle service to big c (supermarket) and central festival shopping centre. due to its popularity amongst guests, advance booking must be made. at 4pm, the resort runs a shuttle service to a market, with assistance of an f & b manager, to purchase local produce. the seafood, vegetables will be prepared, at a small fee by the hotel chef to your liking. dinner will also be served at a time of your choice. an eating outlet located on the left side of the road, just a stone’s throw from the hotel, serves up a delectable a la carte menu. enjoy your sumptuous meal by the beach, overlooking chalong bay. we have truly enjoyed our stay in by the sea residence hotel and will not hesitate to revisit during our next trip.

Beautiful hotel, great Thai restaurant next door, free shuttle to Cape Panwa Hotel and free use of their facilities which are gorgeous. Free wifi at both Kantary and Cape Panwa in the public areas. Nice beach at Cape Panwa, great restaurant at Panwa 'Cafe Andaman'. Lovely pool at Kantary Bay. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean and the staff are really friendly and very helpful. Great service. Highly recommend for those looking for a good hotel at a great price. It's worth noting that there is a lot of construction occuring at Cape Panwa that continues in the evening so I would recommend staying at Kantary and using the free shuttle that runs constantly to access the facilities at Cape Panwa unless you are determined to stay in a five star hotel which Kantary is not. I'd say it is about a 3.5-4 star however the service is definitely 5 star service.

Oh, what a lovely property, perfect for family or couple. Super amazing staff and villas really exceeded our expectation. cleanliness without a doubt brilliant. Location: well if you aren't here for crazy nightlife but for quiet, cosy and romantic time ..then this place is just perfect. 10/10 I say. It is located at Cape Panwa and is about 45 mins from Patanong Beach by scooter or taxi. We chose this place for one reason and that was to make our 10th Wedding Anniversary special and super romantic & it happened the way we imagined before booking. Super private villa, with a good swimming pool and jacuzzi.. Spa service was immaculate and the best part it can happen in your comfort and privacy of your villa. For the local commute, we had hired a bike on rent, which Kosiri team helped getting us. so ya, the point is of your ready to ride or drive a bit, this place is not far from anywhere. Service is a high point of this property. Highly recommended.

While Panwa Beach Resort is far from Patong and took a while for our cab driver to find, it is well worth staying here if you want to get away from the crowds. After feeling a bit grumpy and unwell we really hoped our stay at Panwa would be good and it definitely exceeded our expectations. Staff were pleasant and spoke excellent English. Our room was beach front. We only had to walk about ten steps to arrive at the beach. The pool overlooked the beach and bay and you can see the giant buddha from where you swim. Picturesque. The restaurant was a bit expensive but there are plenty of cheaper places along the beach to go. We did have the Friday night bbq banquet for 850 baht and it was definitely worth it. It was the best food we ate in Thailand. The breakfast is also fantastic and the tourism office at the resort was really helpful. Our room was spacious as well and beautiful to stay in. Stay here only if your looking for something quieter. if you want to be in Patong every night, it might get costly.

When I booked a room in this hotel there were no reviews on Agoda. There were just photos of rooms and the surroundings. I liked the photos and the location and booked the room. The gamble paid off! It was perfect, the rooms were exactly like those pictures on Agoda. I was amazed by the cleanliness and the beautiful view. The staff was friendly, very helpful indeed.

I have stayed at more than a dozen different accommodations on Phuket Island and found Crowne Plaza to be among the most relaxing and pleasant. 1. The welcome registration process is certainly impressive as we are whisked though the hotel's spectacular entry lobby, seated in the ocean-view lobby area and presented with tasty Thai Ice Teas. 2. The room (Adaman Sea View) was spacious, quiet, beautifully decorated and enjoyed one of the most spectacular sunrise views I have ever seen -- with the sun's rays emerging over the bay and filtering through the palm trees. 3. Nice swimming pools 4. The brunch was wonderfully expansive and tasty -- great fresh choices and espresso drinks and both western and eastern dishes. 5. Ate at hotel both nights at Mosaic forThai and then Patio Al Fresco for Italian utilizing coupons we were given at check-in and found the meals to be a very good value (for beach-front hotel setting) and quite good food (though not necessarily uniquely memorable cuisine). The last point brings up what I found to be the main drawback at Crowne Plaza Panwa - its isolated location with other restaurants, shopping, beaches and sites all several kilometers away on a scary, busy stretch of highway. We did cross the busy street to a tiny minimart to buy some snacks and a beer, and contemplated eating at the scruffy looking restaurant there. The hotel suggested we rent motor scooters to explore Phuket, but we found this to be too dangerous and risky proposition (note - Thailand has ranked #2 globally for motor vehicle deaths). The hotel also provides an infrequent daily shuttle but only to a couple big, uninteresting shopping malls during middle of day. Also I was slightly annoyed by the aggressive effort to up-sell us to the hotel's more expensive room-class which marred an otherwise magical check-in process. All in all I think for most people looking to relax with family, Crowne Plaza Panwa is a great choice. Personally I preferred staying at

By far one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in everything is great room is spacious, food flavor is great even the variety exceeded my expectations its a great peaceful hotel my only issue was location it may be just 20 mins away from patong beach (main nightlife area) but taking a taxi for each ride costs around 900baht but truly an amazing hotel!!! Wow!! And worth every dime spent especially in comparison to other 5 star hotels

we wanted to avoid the movida and the crowd, and also trying to find a beach front hotel wasn't easy. cloud 19 has been the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing stay, with 2 amazing pools and private beach. we rented a big bike(kawasaki ninja) and the trips from cape panwa(hotel location), to the main areas such as, patong, kata or kamala were approx. 20-25mins if you knew the roads. as soon as we checked in, we were welcomed with a non-alcoholic cocktail and we could choose which floor we wanted to be in. we chose the pool front, and it has been the best choice we could have made. there is one main pool (the biggest) in the restaurant/lounge area, and then there's a pool on the second floor right in front of the rooms. every time we came back from the beach or sightseeing, we always had a night swim and we had the pool for ourselves. the service was exceptional, and every question was answered promptly. we will definitely be staying at cloud19 next time we will go to phuket.

The hotel is a little bit hard to find for first time visitor as the sign aren't visible therefore very easy to pass through the hotel unnoticing. However the interior is very nice cozy relax and peaceful. Far from the busy area of phuket but not too far from the heart of phuket town. Car is needed as the road leads to a very quiet cape panwa it will be hard to travel around without car. The room and staff are nice very valuable for the price paid, plus a free wifi. Pool is compact size and there's no sandy beach although it is beach front you can walk down the path way if water gets low. I'd definitely recommend people to stay here for its service and price its very valuable.

The bed was very large and comfortable. The studio was cleaned everyday. Ours was on the street so a bit noisy but it was OK since there is not much traffic in Panwa. Our family was staying at the Radisson blu just opposite the street so it was very convenient for us. The guesthouse is within 10 minutes walking from Panwa Cape promenade. The owner has been extremely helpful, and always with smile. We have appreciated our stay here and definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed our three days here but it is an non touristic hotel. This was a break from the more hectic or sophisticated resorts . We have stayed in eleven resorts ( 3 to 4 nights each place ) with a few more to go. However Baan Panwa resort isn't really geared for holidaymakers, it's remote, does not offer transport or free shuttle as advertised, this was most dissapointing ,there is little nearby within walking distance. The restaurant open only on very restricted times ( pre cooked breakfast, one hour at lunch and 5 to 6 pm ). Not a swimming beach but good pool. Staff tried hard to help but need more management direction. Room was good space and hot water terrific. Seems to me it's not worth visiting in low season although the Mangrove resort next door was very flash and did good food and good Happy hour.

The hotel is excellent. But the beach surrounding in complete trash can! They are theonly resort that I could see that keep their section of the beach clean. It is amazing that it is in a beautiful area and amazing resorts BUT the beach is a true trash. How that can be I will never understand!

The place looks better than photo that advertised in website. This villa is very clean and staff is very helpful. Swimming pool is lovely and clean. The master room, hot shower didn't work. Beds are comfy for all rooms. We definitely go back there. Overall, it's good for a group or family.

Stayed here for 2 weeks whilst learning to sail with Sail In Asia at Ao Yon Bay, it's a nice little self contained apartment, but this one doesn't have a pool view (or much of a view at all). The room had a bit of a bad smell (bathroom drains) which I guess cannot be helped, but worth a mention so maybe the owner can try to fix this. During my stay the hot water broke for around 5 days, and repairmen had to come out 3 times to fix it, only the 3rd time was a permanent fix (they replaced the shower on the last day so I'm assuming this will no longer be a problem) This apartment is privately owned, which means the staff at Pixels aren't as useful as they are for condos that are managed by them. E.G - it was pretty difficult getting hold of the owner to tell them about the shower, and the staff didn't speak great English (my fault I guess for not speaking Thai) so it was a bit frustrating trying to reach the right people to get it sorted... Overall, a nice place, but could be cheaper.

The Chalet Phuket Resort is a family friendly boutique resort with 19 uniquely designed rooms, located at the Makham Bay Phuket (close to Cape Panwa). The rooms are very new and clean and basic amenities are provided. The staff are very friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. The resort also provides free wifi and also a very generous complimentary mini bar on a daily basis. There is also a driver on standby to take you to a nice cosy beachfront about 5 minutes away from the resort if you would like to busk in the sun and get a tan. The restaurant in the resort serves authentic and delicious Thai food at very reasonable prices. You can dine and wine away to an awesome panoramic view of the Andaman Sea and enjoy the moonlight in the evenings. The Chalet Phuket Resort is definitely a hidden treasure that has yet to be discovered by many. Will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Phuket.

Lovely hotel booked by my son, the staff are great and I really enjoyed myself . Cape panwa is isolated from the rest of Phuket so bearbthatbin mind!

This has been the first time we stay at Laila pool Village. A small boutique hotel with 9 rooms,every can access the pool. Laila Pool Vilage Located near Phuket Town that we can enjoy eatiing traditional local food and visit the old town seeing Shino-portugis building.Not only phuket town but also near one of the best sunset view point at Panwa cape. Laila Pool Village is a good thing of our journey.

Jack, the owner, was responsive and accommodation dating. The unit was spacious with a view overlooking a local neighborhood and the sea. Charming. The unit has a stocked kitchenette and snorkeling masks. It did not have towels or fresh soap (there was a used bar and a bottle of liquid soap in the shower). The staff was lovely (the guards & front desk staff-esp. Sofie). The halls within the complex weren’t cleaned daily during my stay (one hallway had the same piece of paper for 3 days). There are two small public beach access points within a 5 min walk, although there are no lounge chairs nor umbrellas (at the beac or property). The lovely balcony and the pool area had sitting chairs, and the pool had wicker lounge loveseats, but missing were the chaise lounge chairs that I associate with a beach/resort get away. Several restaurants are within a 5 minute walk, and the options are plenty.

This place is pretty much perfect. We stayed in an enormous room facing the water. The bed was comfortable and the shower was glorious. The food and drinks are awesome. We tried at least 6 drinks over our three days and all were strong and tasty. The fried seafood basket was also a daily snack. Once we discovered there was pretty good swimming right in front of the hotel/leaning towards the bar next door (not the rocky beach to the left) we decided the cove is worth coming back for! Also the staff is the best I've seen in my three weeks in Thailand. Kind, thoughtful and genuinely interested in making your stay enjoyable.
