+ ( positive) from, bangkok to reach is around 2 hours on weekdays, less crowded streets around modus resort +real beach front resort. +lot of rooms, big parking +courteous english speaking security, receptionist, janitor, cooks. ( fantastic humble people) +check in is very quick i booked a suit, fantastic, very spacious, whatever is shown in the video, it is the same. +beach front, real beach front, with swimming pools, atleast 3. pool bar +swimming pool restaurant +additional 2 restaurants +dramatic view of ocean, chonburi harbour from suite. - ( negative) -dont find any directions inside the hotel, reception, breakfast hall, -suite room is stinking with toilet smell, it increase when all the 3 airconditioners or ON.

Nice Surprise”
We normally avoid Pattaya like the plague because of the sleaze factor, however we wanted to see the “ghost town” during the pandemic. The hotel was beautifully filled with families and small children happily swimming in the pools. Our room was nice but our favorite was the balcony. It was very spacious with a big sofa for napping and chilling out. NOTE TO Mayor: the water off the beach had lots of trash floating around. Focus more on clean families biz and closed all the dark/grey biz - it’s not sustainable for the country and Pattaya

Modus ”
Really loved our time here It needs a bit of maintenance but you can tell it was once a five star hotel The staff still treat you as a five star guest and it is clean although my room smelt a bit mouldy and the towels are a bit thin and grey Has great pools and a lovely beach and it is away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya I loved the ambience here but had an ocean view room and didn’t like the rooms in the back two buildings The main building is extremely well build in an industrial style so it’s a bit like being in a gothic mansion that has been vacant for a while Staff are lovely and very attentive but it is not a fluent English speaking hotel I liked it so much we are returning to stay for another week before we head home

I love this place. I’m Malaysian, lives in Bangkok. I’d stayed 3 days, 2 nights with my wife and 2 kids. For those searching for relax, peaceful, nature, beach and premium stay, I recommend this resort. However, if you come for social and shopping, you can stay in the city centre, not far away from resort (10 minutes drive). Swimming pool is great, free kayaking, beach and ocean is totally yours. However, during Covid period, people is less. I’d enjoying it! Have fun.
