Nice property with decent staff”
This place has an elegant property with almost all facilities a 5 star would have. It is a bit away from the city which can be quite rewarding if you have your own convenience.

Great view besides the river.”
The atmosphere is very good, close to the river, Mountain View from my room. The room is super clean!! But, it looks outdated for decorating, swimming pool.

An old hotel.”
Good about this hotel was it environment look green and comfortable. But the room is so old, toilet ceiling dripping water, ants n cockroach in toilet, wifi can't connect, TV remote not work, and curtain torn. Even informing the staff about the wifi, he can't help.

Terrible breakfast. ”
The quality of the food is very very poor. Old room and not enough plug outlets. Blackout at 5 am. Not worth it costs

Lovely hotel on the banks of the river Kwai”
My stay at the Pavilion Rim Kwai Resort was very nice, and I was pleased with my room, which was lovely and spacious. The location of the hotel, right on the banks of the River Kwai, was really nice and provided good views. The hotel's swimming pool was great and I took full advantage of it, using the area to relax after a lot of travelling. I can really recommend this hotel.

Peace and Quiet”
This hotel is situated approx. 25 km north of Kanchanaburi, on the banks of the River Kwai. The location is wonderful and the hotel facilities are excellent for any who wants a quiet get-away. The hotel is large and caters to large groups and bus tours (often with loud music in private banquet rooms), but this is not a serious problem. There is nowhere else to eat nearby, but the hotel restaurant prices are reasonable. However, the food was inconsistent: some good dishes, some poor. The hotel has Internet services (100 baht for 70 minutes), bicycles for rent cheaply, a snooker room, two large and beautiful swimming-pools. The rooms are large, but can be a little run-down: our room had a badly damaged wall, and no attempt had been made to repair it. The bathroom had both a bath-tub and a separate shower. All in all, good value for money -- but you definitely need your own transportation.

Good value for rooms and restaurant meals”
the hotel is a large resort hotel about 25 km from downtown kanchanaburi located right on the river. it is somewhat dated and not in its prime, however the rooms are large, very clean and comfortable. it is located close to nichigo golf course, which is the reason we selected this hotel and it was convenient to get to the course. it was very quiet, with only a few guests.

Pavilion Rim Kwai Resort”
Good place to stay, on a par with other resorts I have stayed at on the Kwai. Seemed very quiet in regards to customers maybe 14 including our 6. I would stay there again as I have my own car but this is not so different from a lot of other places through out the Kwai. Value for money is very good as is breakfast and meals.

A peace of heaven”
You must visit the tiger temple 30 mins from the resort and the waterfalls. They are fantastic and worth the walk to the very source if you are good on your legs. If the walking is too much you can manage the second tier and swim in the beautiful waterfall pool it is so beautiful. Lots of historic things to see and do Hell fire pass, the museums brige over the river kawi. Some of the most stunning countryside in Thailand with the mountains on the west separating Thailand and Myanmar. Fantastic!

Quiet hotel in beautiful location”
I had a wonderful stay here but it's not everyone's cup of tea. The staff were friendly and helpful but they were nervous when speaking English (I speak Thai so did not have a problem). The rooms were a little old but large and clean, I had a fantastic view of the garden and mountain. I was the only non-Thai guest which I really liked as the swimming pools were most empty and quiet. Breakfast was not overly interesting but tasty and all the food was generally good. I rented a bicycle and cycled around the area which was lovely but this hotel is quite a way from Kanchanaburi town so it's best if you have your own transport.

Value for money deal”
Well the pictures make the hotel look better than it is in real life. However we just needed to spend one night there on a trip to see family so we weren't looking for the Hilton. The hotel is quite far away from Kanchanaburi itself but we were looking forward to taking our baby to the Earawan National Park which then is closer by. Breakfast is a Thai buffet type with toast, eggs (American BF) but the sausages and ham are all rather "economic". However overall for the 1300THB we paid for the night incl. breakfast I've had much worse and if you're ok with these short comings this place is not to bad. Didn't have time to try the pool but it looked alright from far. The clientel here are mostly Thai and Asean members.

Beautiful location”
really nice hotel! two pools to choose from. restaurant was ok, a bit pricy for the quality of food. the staff was very friendly and helped us learn some new words and phrases. convenient for travelers with transportation, we had a rental car and were able to easily find caves, temples, waterfalls, and historical areas.
