I loved staying at peacock hostel so much and I had an awesome Christmas time, thanks to everyone who made it special. If you want to meet awesome, chilled out people in a great atmosphere with good music and the loveliest hosts then I can definitely recommend this place. I extended two times because I just didn't wanna leave. I loved ever little detail about this hostel and it is a unique gem directly at the harbour in Lanta. You can rent scooters in the hostel to explore the island and the owners will do sunsettrips with the most awesome car you can imagine. They also help you with every question you have and make you feel so welcome. The chill out area is great and has nets to lie in directly over the water but you have to keep in mind to bring some mosquito spray ;). Enjoy your stay, I hope you'll love it as much as I did.

Nice hostel to meet new friends”

I had a great time staying 7 nights at the Peacock Hostel in Koh Lanta. The owner lady kindly booked the transportation for me from and to the airport. They have motorbikes for rent as well, so I was able to ride around the island on one day. The resting area with hammocks are amazing, especially at night you can see fish and small squids gathered around the light hunting each other. It is also a great place to meet new people, backpackers, tourists from different countries and I had a great time with them. The beds are not exactly the cleanest, I've head some people complain about bed bugs but you get what you pay for. Overall, its a nice hostel with an interesting interior design. If you are interested in meeting people during your stay, this place is your choice.

Enjoyed my stay at Peacock Hostel. Hin has great hospitality and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. Really adore the decoration of the place, makes it relaxing and ultimately a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle. Loved the lounge area, and the view of the open seas. Definately a memorable experience! Great job Peacock!

Great Location & Friendly Staff”

I only stayed one night in Peacock Hostel. Its just next to the pier. The environment is clean & comfortable. and I Love every little design in the hostel, and the staff there was super nice~~ Highly Recommend!!

Stay@Peacock Hostel”

I enjoyed my 3 nights at Peacock Hostel, especially the hanging out place that they have in the back. The dorm is quite ok despite the fact that it is large as there are curtains for each lower bed. What I didn't like is that there were only cold water showers and I couldn't wash off properly because of that. The price I found to be too high compared to the offer of the other hostels around.

Best hostel ”

Loved my stay so much! My bed was really comfy and had my own plug socket and fan. Toilets were always clean. The chill out area at the back of the hostel is amazing loads of cushions and nets and hamocks also the wifi is really good out there so it makes for a good Skype home! You can also see really cool fish that live under the hostel if you look at night! The owners are such lovely people they will help you with any information you need as best they can and can book things like ferrys for you and are good for chatting to! The hostel is literally at the ferry port so it's the perfect location and very close to restaurants, laundry facilities, shops, dive shops etc. I would definitely recommend people to stay here I loved it so much I stayed twice!

Clean et confortable”

I only stay one night but the hostel was confortable, easy to find (next to the pier). The staff was very friendly. Even if there were 18 beds in the dorm, the other customers were very quiet and respectfull

The coolest place to stay at ever!”

The place is so artsy and beautiful. Definitely the coolest places I have ever stayed at. The beds are okay. There is also a small fan right next to the beds. The area is quiet at night.It is built over the sea. Located just right next to the harbour. The night market is on the next lane. There are some really cool spots for Instagam pictures as well. You can spend a night here to just relax and unwind.

It was just magical. Booked for only 1night but ended up staying almost 2weeks. Met so many nice people and made amazing memories! Staff are super friendly and we had a lot of fun together. I still miss those days and people. I will def go back!

Cozy & homy place”

I loved staying here. I got to know the staff really well. They were really nice and fun to hang out! (reach out to them first!). The common place is amazing! I laid down in the fish net all day & all night. I can't wait to go back!

Pro- location, staff Con- Quite literally the most uncomfortable bed ever experienced. Tiny shower stall. Don't attempt to sleep here. Stay at any other affordable hostel (across the street) and come visit the bar (for the view?)

Dieses Hostel ist anders. Die Community Area ist supertoll, die Lage ok weil direkt am Hafen aber um zum schönen Strand zu kommen braucht man doch einen Roller. Die Besitzer haben uns zum Sonnenuntergang zum Sectret Beach gebracht. Tolle Leute, tolle Atmosphäre!

Tolles Hostel - mal was Anderes”

Zum Strand fährt man doch besser mit dem Roller da sich die schöneren Strände ca.10min Fahrzeit weit weg befinden (200bht/Tag) aber immerhin ist man zentral am Pier, in der 'Walking Street', und hat allerlei Cafes/Restaurants nebenan. Das Hostel ist unglaublich liebevoll dekoriert und die Chilloutarea ist allemal das Beste überhaupt. Die Betreiber sind etwas schüchtern aber sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Nur die Sauberkeit an den Waschbeckenbereichen und ums Bett herum hätte besser sein können. Würde wieder dort buchen.

Ich hatte erst für 2 Tage gebucht aber als ich dann ankam und die Atmosphäre dort sah ND die sauberen Zimmer und duschen habe ich für 10 Tage verlängert. Da ich vorher viel gereist bin, WR ich froh dieses entspannte hostel gefunden zu haben indem ich mich wie zuhause fuzehlte. Auch die besondere Lage auf einem Steg direkt am Wasser hat mir sehr gefallen. Man hat hier viele Restaurants und shops um sich und direkt den Pier für Bootsausflüge nach Ko phi phi, 4 Islands, Phuket usw. Abends wird oft international gekocht mit allen und die Besitzerin und ihre Freunde sind stets Bestandteil der netten Abende und sprechen gutes englisch. Ich kann das hostel wirklich jedem allein reisenden mit geringen budget empfehlen.
