Great cruise, great crew, perfect getaway.”
I initially booked with Pelican and then they moved us to Azalea cruise which is also run by the same company. The experience with Azalea was just perfect, the crew are very nice to everyone and they look into all your needs. The manager Diago was just magnificent with the way he managed the crew and how well he treated the guests. He kept everyone upto date on the plans , what else we could do while on the cruise and some great infomration on Halong bay/Lan Ha bay and its history. I was so glad that he was our cruise manager since I don't think anyone else would have kept us so entertained and had such a unique way of telling us the details of every place we visited. Overally, defnitely worth booking with Azalea with Diago as your manager.

Best way to end a vacation”
We went on the 3 day, 2 night cruise and have taken away only superlative memories. The accommodations were fabulous, with dark wood and huge windows to view the beautiful scenery. My husband and I paid a couple of extra $$ for the best suite and are glad we did. We had a beautiful private deck outside of our cabin where we drank our complimentary wine and felt the breeze. The staff is superb, amongst the kindest I ever have had the pleasure to meet. They kept our schedules straight and shepherded all of the guests safely and with a smile. The food was incredible. We never had time to get hungry and didn't lack for anything's ng if we did. I would recommend this cruise a hundred times over. I will return the first chance I get!

Exceptional”
The crew were very friendly, cabin clean, food excellent and well presented. The weather could have been better, but didn’t dampen the trip. The three day cruise is well worth the extra day, the floating village and the caves, I wouldn’t have missed them for the world. We met some wonderful people from all over the world. Halong Bay Cruise ”
Loved this cruise and loved this beautiful timber boat. This was by far the nicest boat that we saw on the Bay. The lovely timber features are amazing. Cabins are luxurious and comfortable, with individual doors to outside. We had a family connecting room, with two en-Suites. Love our time with Pelican Cruises. Would do it again. Staff are friendly, courteous and accommodating. Highly recommend. x

The Best Cruise experience ”
In the entire Vietnam trip, we enjoyed our cruise stay the most. We were the only vegetarian on the entire cruise and the chef made an extra efforts to prepare the 8 course veg meal just for us. The food was delicious. Thankyou for making that extra efforts . Rooms were awesome. Imp spacious enough with balcony. Staff was good , helpful and cheerful . They made sure we had the best experience ever and we did got the memories for the lifetime.

The boat and the room was simply Perfect”
Great food, friendly staff and really nice tour experience. The only problem is they accidentally provided all our food (Dinner) to the wrong table. We have requested for Halal (FIsh + Vegetarian food) food since the beginning. We even confirmed this when we checked in. But as there is no dinner table number/room number to track this. the Stuff accidently sent all our food the wrong table. We missed a few courses. Overall, if I ignore this, Pelican is the best option in Halong Bay.

Amazing Halong Bay”
We took the two night option in the suites. Would probably recommend one night but well worth spending a few extra dollars for the suite. Food was amazing and cocktails were awesome. Scenary is some of the best in the world. Do not miss this cruise it is a bucket list item and exceeded all my expectations. P. S staff were wonderful.

E went on the 1 night 2day cruise. We had the best time, the trip was very orangised with a great schedule ( which ran on time) yet was still very relaxing. The whole package was great and we would highly recommend this trip. The staff on board did everything they could to help. The evening cooking class was also brilliant.

Great option”
My wife and I took the one night two days cruise we wanted the two nights but unfortunately did not have the time My wife was apprehensive of cruises since she had a bad experience once So I splurged and chose the best option the royal suite ocean facing was pricey but wow it was worth it My wife loved it It had stunning views all you could see from the comfort of the room Was very quiet clean and spacious with our own private balcony! To die for literally The tour was not rushed and the guides were kind and courteous the. Only thing I was disappointed was we were allowed two complimentary drinks and were not told till about the time we finished And had to pay for the water for dinner which I found in bad taste given the price we paid that left really a bad taste Other than that we loved it and would definitely go again

We enjoyed having two days to see more of the Bay especially the fishing village. The crew were so professional especially Le, the manager was very caring and funny and LAN spoke very good English and was very helpful. The food was excellent and very fresh. Would recommend it highly.

Memory of a lifetime”
The beauty of the bay, the caves, the food and the service by the staff, Thomas especially, made this trip with my son so special! We upgraded to the Royal Suite Ocean View and the large suite was worth every penny. Private deck! What??? We did all of the excursions, hikes, cooking lesson and 6:30am Tai Chi. All worth the experience!

Highlight of my Vietnam trip!”
Was transferred to Azealea cruise instead due to water system issue during the dates I booked. However, we got a free upgrade and Azealea cruise is beautiful and clean with excellent service! The staff are very polite and helpful which value adds the stay! Even though the itinerary wasn't the one that we wanted to go for, the route we took on Azalea is less crowded and the water is more pristine. Love the scenery and had a relaxing trip ! Highly recommend to visit Halong Bay if you're visiting Vietnam!

The cruise was very comfortable and the food was nice. However, I noticed most of the cruise companies run similar itineraries. Hence, if money is a concern, a cheaper alternative can still cover the same items. However, the staff were really welcoming and the rooms were clean with beautiful views of Ha Long Bay during the cruise. One of the best ways to go around Ha Long Bay.

Gorgeous couples stay”
My partner and I booked the suite and can honestly say it was the best decision. We had arranged to do the rest of Vietnam on the cheap and managed to get this on a great deal. It was lovely to have a little luxury and privacy with our own sun deck. If you invest in one thing, make it this.
