rooms are great but far from beach”
Our "Sandard" room was elegant and well furnished, spotlessly clean, with one comfortable king size beds (crisply ironed Frette sheets!). The hotel is very traditional and in the Roman style, with rather stiff but very cordial service .The bathroom was fine , very clean, with great hot water and pressure. It wasn't luxurious We walked everywhere from this central location and were surrounded on all sides by great vistas and attractions. Frankly I was quite surprised by some of the negative reviews speaking badly of the service, decor, furnishings, noise, a/c, etc.....and can only attribute this to people used to the "chain" hotels without soul or character. If you want Roman charm and character,in Vung Tau ,here's the best place for you Petrosetco Hotel

Good enough hotel Value for money”
we stayed for two days at petrosetco hotel. the service was good. due to junior service staff unable to understand our requests in strong english, we were served by two very competent managers instead: mr martin phuc hanh ( sales manager ) and mr van thuy ( operation manager ). martin advised us which sightseeing worth seeing, restaurants worth visiting and road directions which is very helpful to us tourist and visitors. hotel has strong wifi connection which is helpful to us with smart phones connecting to internet to check emails and soccernet. the bathtub height to the floor in our 4th floor room bathroom should be worth a mention here. why ? it is too high the height when we climbed into and out of the bathtub onto the floor. on the first day, i nearly had a fall and injure myself as i underestimated the height between the bathrub and the floor.

Good location, good service, nice room”
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They organised taxis around Vung Tau as well as a bus back to Ho Chi Minh city at a reasonable price. This hotel was a short walk to the front beach where lots of restaurants are located. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy and the view from my window was pleasant. The room was also quiet at night time, you couldn't hear any traffic from the street. The breakfast is the only thing that I wouldn't recommend as there is too little variety. Overall I would definitely stay here if I visit Vung Tau again.

Great location and good amenities”
Vung Tau trip was planned at last moment and hotel was selected from very limited choices. We were bit confused as other reviews were not very encouraging. But thank god hotel turned out to be good surpassing our expectations. Hotel service was good but they refused request to clean up teh room as my young daughter had spread some food item al over room. They refused cleaning it again which was very surprising. Apart from this, hotel was good. Breakfast was good and location of hotel is quite near to Express ferry station which was very convenient. Indian restaurant is also just few shops away which was a plus point as well.

Great location but rather small rooms”
Nice nut a bit dull hotel located near back beach, which is at the beginning of the inner city of Vung Tau. Staff nice and friendly but you had to choose from either coffee (or tea) or juice at breakfast. And the coffee didn't taste too good... Nicely located though with only a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops.

I was in Vung Tau for work. I have stayed in this hotel before. Clean room, good hot water and good wifi along with help staff is all I am ever looking for. If your looking for the same you probably will be good with this place too.

Nice and Clean Hotel”
Petrosetco Hotel is a small but nice and clean hotel. The rooms on the ground floor decor w/water feature is very cosy, tranquil. Upon check in, The guys who manned the reception area were very courteous and helpful. Breakfast, which was included with price, was basic and simple. Location of hotel is a plus, coz its within walking distance to ferry terminal and the beach front. We love walking along the beach, esp during sunset, and its so breezy.

we stayed one night in a delux room of Petrosetco Hotel. The room is quite spacious. Decor is alright but definitely not as nice as what the pictures have shown. The breakfast is a bit let down. More local food choices than international. Foreigners may not be used to the local food. Not very far from the ferry terminal. Roughly about 10 minutes walk.

I had a good time with my friend staying one night at Petrosetco. The hotel is really close to Ferry station (walking distance). There are good restaurants nearby. Front Beach is awesome. Recommended.

good hotel with affordable price”
it was wonderful during my 3d/3n stay. i was lucky to have promo price, however even with a standard price (compared to other hotel) the room is great. the internet connection (the must facility for me) worked great. the bathroom is perfect, with a large sized bathtub and complete amenities. going down for breakfast it was near perfect with a selection of traditional food. one thing i dislike was a limited selection of 'halal' (at least non-pork) food. however the availability of an egg station is perfect. the laundry was managed by ring the receptionist then someone from housekeeping will be coming to your room and take your clothes. a laundry form is not available as well as the laundry bag for collection. however the service was fast and clean finished. i was at 5th floor and unfortunately smoking smelled at the floor path and in the room at the first night. it was gone on the second day but still smelly at the floor path. i rated 4/5 stars considering its price. going out, you will find a lot of bars and restaurants. walking 5 minutes you will reach the beach with lots bars on the seaside. hoang van restaurant provides sea food with affordable price and good taste. grilled squid was very good.

location of hotel is great. hotel room is a bit small but fully equipped. staffs are friendly. area for parking in front of hotel is rather small. breakfast time serving too short. only 9.00am, there are no more food. suggest ending time for breakfast should be 10.00am as vung tau is the destination for leisure. people usually get up late

Comfy and Value for money”
the hotel is ideally located convenient to bars and restaurant, it is also near to the front beach and all within walking distance. the rooms are comfy with powerful air conditioning and its always kept cleaning daily with their room cleaning services. one down side is that the hotel lack of facilities, as it does not come equipped with a pool for a cool dip whenever you want. overall it has been a very satisfying stay in the hotel.

Good hotel, Value-for-Money”
The hotel front desk receptionist was polite and understood English quite well. Was very helpful with local tranport arrangements and other queries. Strangely the room came with no tea/coffee making facilities, though there were coffee pots and cups. Must be a cost cutting thing. No ironing allowed in teh room, so business travellers might find it a little annoying to pay for this, but it is rather cheap to get this done. Overall, this was a good hotel, offering great value for money.

Very nice, modern and clean hotel ”
i was very pleased with this fairly new hotel, having seen it whilst i was staying in a nearby hotel on my previous visit. the staff very very helpful and caring. my laundry requests were met very quickly and efficiantly. one added attraction was the discounted rate by booking on the internet prior to my departure from home. my only negative comment to the desk staff was that the valuables safe in the room should be fixed to the wall or the cupboard in which they are situated, not left to be moved around.

The hotel is quite small but is very new. The location is great. You can walk from the express ship harbor to the hotel. It's a stone throw from beaches and the Christ statue. The room is quite nice with wallpaper and pretty good bed. The receptionists there were quite talkative but nice :) Breakfast was not too big but good enough

Modern hotel in great location”
The reception staff were friendly and helpful - all spoke English to some degree. Initial impression is of a brand new hotel with a nice bright reception area and dining room off to one side. Room also felt 'new' and bathroom was a delight. Bed was firm, but not too hard (unlike in some hotels we've stayed in). Breakfast was served buffet style and was very much Asian dominated, there were several items I could not even identify. Eggs cooked to order and divine French bread saved the day! It was however the same routine every day, so not a high point. A swimming pool on the roof would have made this a top choice, but even so, we would use it again.

Well, I was looking for a double bed (Standard room) but actually I receive a single room, so I was charged 168,000 VND in order to upgrade Deluxe room. The breakfast is awful and not really good compared to the other equivalent hotel in Vung Tau.

Beautiful looking hotel”
The Hotel was great and was as described on the website. For the price of the room the bed could have been more comfortable, Location was great in the middle of everything and Shops all around to buy food and eat in.
