We stayed there for 1 week in beg January. The villa was the last in the row close to the forest. was great to be near nature and all is green. The room is spacy, minimalistic and clean. the territory is nice. Is located a bir far from the main actvities which is in my point of view an absolut advantage. Shritanu is my favourite area and all restaurants and beaches are close distance by bike. You can rent a bike, arrange a ferry and transfers on the reception at comfortble prices.

Great and peaceful location”
I had a very peaceful and great weekend. The villas are 15 minutes walk away from the main yoga village, close to yoga places and great cafes. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely be back again.

Best breakfast I’ve had in Thailand ”
We were greeted warmly with a lovely refreshing drink and awesome cool towel when we arrived. The room was spacious and very clean. The area was nice and quiet and the owners really friendly. But the biggest highlight was the breakfast the next morning. We could only stay the one night unfortunately but will absolutely be back with friends in the near future.

A little paradise on the Phangan island”
Wonderful villas with all the facilities you need; right in the heart of Phangan. One of the best breakfast buffets. Very accessible if you have a car or scooter. Few kilometres away from all the best beaches, restaurants and attractions. If you're going for the full moon party then don't stay here. If you're looking for tranquil and peace, then don't look anywhere else if you can find a villa here. They just have 18 villas so be sure to book early.

Very spacious and modern stone bungalow”
I rented this place in the low season because at that time it had a good value for money. The stone bungalow is huge and the bed, mattress and sheets are very comfortable. It’s a 5 minute motor bike ride or 15 minute walk away from anything though.

The beach is not close, you’ll need a bike or car.”
If you want to walk, you’ll need more than 15 min. One woman was really kind but especially the kitchen staff and driver seemed to be stressed. The first 5 days our breakfast was as typical as in many hotels ( pancake, egg and sausage, rice soup and wheat toast), the coffee machine was nice! The last two days they offered more at breakfast , it was buffet style, but for vegetarian and vegan there’s not much to eat( no soy or oat- milk :( ) We can recommend the stay for couples but for families I would search for another accommodation.

Intelligent and friendly staff, good breakfast, best internet on the Phangan island, very nice and clean bungalows, good location.. not very far avai from Sri Thanu main street but just enought to spend quiet vocation. Good and clean pool.. Thank you for your hospitality and help for taxi and ferry tickets everything went smoothly. This was my second time in Phangan Akuna and i will definetly return in the future.

We had an excellent stay at Phangan Akuna. The bungalows are new, modern, spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and provided us with an extra bed for our eldest son for free. Wi-Fi was the best we encountered on Phangan. The breakfast was buffet style with unlimited access. By the second day, the very attentive restaurant staff already knew that we needed a bowl of warm milk for our toddler, without even asking them! The location is good if you want some peace and quiet. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here and would recommend to others.

I am writing this to appreciate and aknowledge the experience during our stay at Phangan Akuna from 4th Sep to 7th Sep 2017. The rooms were clean, well furnished, location was serene but most importantly the staff was very friendly. I would especially like to recognise the service of their lead Dar. She is the most hospitable person I have ever come across, she has been very supporting in facilitating our stay in best possible way. She not only guided us for the nearby activities and places of interest, but also arranged the bikes for us, and made sure we have good time during our vacation. I am very thankful to their team and especially Dar, for giving us the best experience during our entire stay in Thailand.

Perfect Stay”
The location is a bit far from the beach but with scooter, it's not a problem at all. You could rent scooter from the hotel, the same price with what they offer at the street and no hassle at all. The villa is very clean, beautiful, with all the amenities: fridge, kettle, hairdryer. I definitely recommend Phangan Akuna!

I really enjoyed my stay at Phangan Akuna. The studios are great, the pool and breakfast are nice, peaceful and quiet. The staff is awesome, so kind and very helpful! Exactly what I needed for this week! Only 10 minutes walk to the beach, sunsets are stunning! Then if you want to explore the rest of the island, you can easily rent a motorbike for 250thb/day. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Best sleep I had in 3 months in Thailand”
Phangan Akuna is brand new so the bungalows are spacious and clean. The bed was the most comfortable bed I slept in during 3 months in Thailand. Air conditioning and wifi work great. Best of all, the manager goes above and beyond to help out guests - the best service I had anywhere in Thailand.
