I'm very impressed with Phatchara Boutique Hotel. One of them is this Hotel. I've vacation during the low season, which makes the local service are interested the tourists. Ex., Hotel shuttle service: I arrived island late , so the owners drive to pick me up at the port by herself. The service of rental motorcycle, staff from "Jack" renting motorcycle shop he always care me sent the motorcycle me at the hotel and take me to the port at on the last day.

Low-Key Central Place to Stay”
We had a great stay here! The staff was friendly: always smiling, greeting us at check-in with free pineapple juice, and even upgrading our room! The pool was refreshing, the wifi was strong, and the restaurant was good (if priced a bit high). The room was nice too: it had AC, a mini-fridge, modern furnishings, and a large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit small, but we didn't mind at all. There was also free water and coffee, and they tried to keep smokers outside. We liked the hotel's location, as it was near delicious local restaurants, and Thong Sala town; with our moto, we were able to easily get around the whole island from this central location. We would stay here again!

Absolutely loved it!”
Absolutely loved staying here. Although the location is not so very good for the fullmoon party, but it's closed to pier so overall it was okay. The best thing about Phatchara were staffs, They were very kind and helpful. And remember that you have to take your shoes off before getting in to your room. Anyway, I would 100% recommend!!

Excellent”
The hotel is situated right near the moonlight outdoor cinema and a 7-Eleven. We stayed in the superior room; it was really spacious and clean. The air con worked well. The bed was hard but that was to be expected. The water from the shower smelt of iron and we did have a few critters in the room mainly due the fact it was raining heavily that day and they could get under the door as it wasn’t seeled. Staff were lovely and happy to help.Overall good stay and for the price can’t complain!

A great place”
We had a week at this hotel in August and loved our stay here. On our arrival we were lucky to be given a room upgrade. The room we had was a lovely size, with a balcony overlooking the pool, and had all the amenities we could want, including pool towels and even a hairdryer. The bed was lovely and comfy and there was plenty of hot water. The wifi was excellent too. The hotel itself is in Thongsala, and there is a 7-11 about a 2 minute walk away, a Tesco Lotus also around the corner and the food court and markets are also within walking distance (about 10 minutes walk.) We hired a motorbike from them for a really good price and the bikes were of a good standard and needed if you want to see some of the island. The swimming pool is small, but okay for cooling off at the end of a day sightseeing. The restaurant does good food if you don't want to go out for something to eat. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful in booking our onward travel back to Bangkok and for a good price. Overall we loved our stay here and would recommend

Group of 4 stayed here after another hotel messed us around at full moon time. Can't comment on price or value for money as Agoda paid for us to instead stay here. We stayed in a family suite which had two rooms and a bathroom. Lots of space, nice area to chill out front. Breakfast was ok. Staff were OK. A bit far from full moon but didn't really like Koh phangan in general - it's just a place where people are constantly trying to rip you off.

Good to avoid full moon kiddies”
Went there just because it was full moon so i went away from all these annoying kids that act lije they never seen alcohol. Hotel is nice, clean with small pool. Rooms are spacious with Tv, fridge, AC Room cleaning is on request. Minus: extremely powerful AC ( someone will like that) so however you adjust it it will simply blow up all night. Although i set cooling temp to 30C just to test it it never stoped. I would rather prefer having net on balcony doors so i can leave it open during night as outside it's quite good and colder. Bed is not hard as rock like lot of thai hotels, but it's neither really comfortable. Some more "softer" would be ideal. In short if they have little bit more softer mattresses and nets on door it will be 10/10

A little bit hard to find at first, my fault I had no map, great stay, very comfy room the kettle and cups are nice to enjoy coffee on the little terrace. Cable TV with hips of English channels, friendly and helpful reception, central to bars and food hawkers. Highly recommended

Nice hotel, overpriced but good facilities.”
We stayed here for the full moon party after another hotel cancelled our booking last minute for the full moon. We paid €160 for one night which was a total rip off but we had no choice. The staff were very rude initially and do not offer much help. They were nice after we took interest in their dog and seemed to soften a little. The hotel ran a shuttle in to Haad rin for the full moon party for 200bt pp, which included collecting from the beach, which was a great service. The room was lovely and seemed well kept. The air con was great and the bathroom was nice. The hotel is about 1km from the pier, taxis wanted to charge us 400bt but we walked it easily in 10 mins. The hotel run a free shuttle to the pier on the morning you leave.

Staff could be a bit disorganized at times but were mostly friendly, if you're planning on going for full moon party the drinks there were super cheap but it's about a 20min taxi ride to the parties and costs about 200 baht

Gorgeous budget hotel with AWESOME food”
Food prepared by a gem who takes absolute pleasure in Thai cooking. 50 BHT and up too, can’t get better than that! She would even bring extras out for us to try. Great little pool, go for a superior room (super nice), only 7 TV channels though. Good location, free transport to the pier, 50 min walk to Phaeng waterfall. Also an outdoor movie theatre right across the street!

Avoid Standard Rooms”
I stayed there about 5 night. Place is nice a bit far from the city but if you have a motorbike it is fine. They Have 2 buildings, one for standard room and the other one with superior. the superior room should be silent at night (traffic apart) but the standard room are made in a way that usually are booked by group of youngers that like to party and they end to party in the hotel slamming door all night long... it happened more then one night with different groups. the reception close at night so nobody take care of the hotel at night. price was good in low season, but I highly raccomend to take the superior room and you will be fine. bed is kingsize etc. I rememebr one member of the staff Jezz, he was very cool and hard worker.

We booked a private room with bathroom. After 2 weeks we had great light in bathroom also our room was quite big. There is small pool which is part of Mad Monkey hostel, it’s like party hostel, but we haven’t heard too much noise at night.

Quiet location with poor service”
We booked this hotel because it was basically the last one available for the dates that we went. It is tucked away down a side street and is quite new with free wifi which is good and it is nice and quiet. The rooms are small but equipped with the essentials - standard Thai style shower over the toilet which is always irritating but pretty usual. The staff were friendly but we had terrible trouble with the service. When we arrived the bed was dusty and there were insect droppings on it. There is a sign on the wall that says they don't clean rooms every day but are happy to do so on request if you would like the towels or linen changed. The first day we asked for the towels to be changed as there is no way they would dry by the time we came back. We left the key at reception. When we came back the towels weren't changed. The next time we asked the towels to be changed again and it didn't happen. The third day we asked the bed to be changed as it had gotten pretty sandy (to be expected as we spent all day every day on the beach and our clothes were full of sand). The bed AGAIN wasn't changed, neither were the towels. The free water was never replaced and we had to actually call the owner to beg for new toilet roll! The owner told us things like changing bedding and towels were for big hotels only and that we were staying as "family". My family never charged me 800 Baht a night to stay! I would avoid it, especially when private bungalows on the beach with air con are available at the same price or less. We don't like to write bad reviews but we gave them ample chance to just give us a little, standard service and it didn't happen.
