Booked the seaside suite. Great sunset view from balcony and bathtub. Can gaze at stars while soaking in bathtub. Great local restaurant and cafés opposite the nearby cable car station. Direct bus futa buslines/Phuong trang (orange buses) from HoChiMinh backpacker street pham ngu lao(5mins from Ben Thanh Mkt) for just 110,000 VND. Free transfer to any resort upon reaching vungtau & free pickup from resort for return trip to saigon. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Happy stay.

Everything was so great except we booked and paid more for apartment but they offered me the petro suite which it smaller with no kitchen, Agoda couldn't helped. Because hotel explained they have no apartment as is showed on Agoda. Anyway u should not book apartment unless u want to pay more to stay in petro suite. Everything else was great, big suite, room service awesome, breakfast buffet delicious, staffs friendly accept staffs worked in restaurant. The most important thing I like is the jacuzzi bathtub that you hardly find even in 5 star hotel. Loved it. And the reasonable price can beat anywhere. I will still stay here for next visit vung tau even though the problem I've had here

We had a great 3-day vacation in the city and we were happy with Darby Park as our choice of hotel. The sea was in stormy mood so our kids wanted to stay in the hotel's swimming pool most of the time. I do like very much the nice view of the pool within a peaceful landscape where I can shoot many candid and portrait photos. Plus a silent atmosphere, I think the hotel would best meet either the needs of relaxation or romance. Just few steps walking out from the hotel in the evening, we could enjoy exploring life in the seashore and the center area of this cozy city.

Vung Tau in general feels very dated, and so too does this hotel so it came to be expected. Reception staff are very friendly. I opted for an additional $5/night and got a room almost double the size of my friend's (basically a suite, with seating area, ensuite, main bathroom, etc). Location is great. Didn't try out the gym or pool though but they both seemed popular with the other patrons. I did try the buffet breakfast though and found it lacklustre. There were ants on my table and the 'continental' selection was lacking. I opted for the usual beef pho. I probably wouldn't stay here again as there are other options but I would if I had no other options.

We always stay at this hotel when we want to be in Bai Truoc (the front beach, where you cannot swim but have beautiful views of the ocean). Reception staff are very friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and the Deluxe rooms have amazing views of the ocean. Breakfast is excellent, especially now that they have replaced their brand of coffee. Ocean walk is across the street, parks and coffee shops nearby. Nice, large, clean swimming pool in the premises. Highly recommend and with the best prices in town!

We stayed 2 nigets in this hotel and had a great stay! It's an older hotel but everything works perfect. The style is quite charming in fact. The room is very spacious, we had a room room with swimming pool View, in my opinion the best option... The ones with sea views are more noisy because they have the boulevard in front. If you don't mind doing some stairs I would recommend tge rooms on the second floor. We cycled around in Vung Tau and came to the conclusion that this hotel has got the best location! It's fantastic to go to Front beach, especially in the morning; watch the fishermen and watch the people doing exercises. I love this city, so open and so clean♡

It is a nice 4-star hotel, located in a quite street but close to the front beach and many good restaurants. I booked two rooms and both were very clean, the staff was smiley all the time and very helpful. Breakfast was not so special but there were many kinds of food for us to choose. It's beyond our expectations and we will recommend it to our colleagues and friends.

nice clean room with helpful staffs. has quite good rest here. only booked for 1 night initially but extended 2 nights later at the same price due to blockout in agoda. hotel has no lifts so got to do some exercise to 3rd floor. also in the early morning the guests who woke up early may be talking too loud when they walk past my room. seems that not so soundproof for the door. mr dung has been helpful in aslo helping me to check out to change the ferry schedule & also fixed the wifi connection problems.

We had an amazing stay here. Staff were helpful as can be considering English was not their first language. We were a little way from the main beach but the hotel offers tandem bikes at $1 an hour which allowed my family and I to have a fun cycle to the beach. A must to do to make the kids tired for bed. We were a walking distance from the cable car/eco tourist park which was fun for the kids. We had so much fun in Vung Tau that we overstayed our checkout. The cleaning lady had no problem. We just left her a nice little tip. The rooms were very spacious and after the kids were asleep, my partner and I was able to take a nice walk along the quiet promenade with the sound of the waves crashing and the sea breeze blowing behind us. If you are the manager and you are reading this, please compliment your staff. We had a wonderful experience here.

We had a fantastic time at the Lotus Apartment Hotel. We booked the hotel online and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the room, which included a small kitchenette (with pots, pans, microwave, large sink, food heater, refrigerator, and all the utensils). The bathroom was quite large with all the basic amenities provided (toothbrush, comb, soap, q-tips, etc). There was even a washing machine in the bathroom which we used twice! The reception was so friendly and genuinely happy to help us arrange travel back to HCMC and arrange daily motor rentals. She also suggested some fabulous restaurants and told us where to avoid. This hotel is close to both front and back beach, and has many cute little coffee shops (Vietnamese coffee is to die for) and was a walk away from our favorite restaurant, the Watering Hole, which served amazing Pho for breakfast. We would certainly stay there again in a heartbeat and we were sad to leave (they even offered us a room discount for our third night, we had originally only booked for two).

We stayed 16 nights at the hotel. As soon as we arrived, we were amazed by unreal the natural beauty. Hotel right on the beach.It is the beautiful hotels flora.Many different flowering plants.Two swiming pools in the hotel.One of them - ocean water. The hotel has nine rooms. Amazed by their unique beauty.Rooms were cleaned every day, very clean. Each day we were spoiled to a basket of fresh fruits.Very friendly, pleasant and helpful is hotel`s staff. Very tasty food! Inexpensive. Vung Tau town center is not far.But not too many of restorans.So, dinner in the hotel`s restaurant was the best choise. We vacationed in October. The weather was fantastic.Not many people at this time.Many days in a hotel were only me and my husband.We were joiking,that we are in paradise. If you want to vacation in Vung Tau, I recommend only this hotel..Fantastic rest.

I really like this hotel. From checkin to checkout everything was so comfortable and smooth. The room is clean and spacious. The staffs are helpful, friendly and had urge to help us in many maner. Services are very nice. We are planning to stay here for the next holiday. Thanks for serving us.

After staying in many hotels across Vietnam (including the stinking rat hole Dragon II hotel) This place is heaven. apartment style in immaculate condition.I want to live here for ever! Excellent swimming pool and such a beautiful building. If making a booking and you dont like rock hard bed, ask reception for a mattress topper. also right next to a church that rings it's bells at 5AM every morning followed by singing which is ok but with outside PA system, so drink hardy the night before and it will block it out :) Best value for money by far. Luxury at it's best

A hotel with a difference that other hotels should take on board, main area is the open bar canteen social area with all sports channels, expats retirees Aussies etc charade the bar to socialise for a beer huge food choices in the open air bar and internal bar for later on, popular spot on vung tau, close to the beach and other bars restaurants not a 5 star but clean well looked after place, it's well liked for the social scene and felt welcome at all times, rooms vary from basic bed shower tv to VIP bed shower kitchen tv apartment room, there is always a social scene with the offshore hotel with expats from offshore retirees and business men lingering together for meals and a drink Well worth the stay and visit

I was surprise to know such a great hotel to offer so low price (only on agoda), especially since they include breakfast. It has a nice room set up with clean bathtub in the bathroom. It also moderately decorated and everything seems to work just fine. It location just within 1 km walking distance from the Jetty and facing the beach drive also makes it a great place to be. All basic needs is within walking distance and you can also book massuer from the receptionist counter.

Another hotel I have stayed in over the past 8 years. Staff really friendly and pleasant, willing to help in anyway they can. Price good with breakfast, other meals good although menu hasn't changed much. Beer always cold, aircon in all rooms that actually work, staff at the front desk will help you will travel arrangements back to Ho Chi Minh. Will stay there again on my next visit.

Great location very very big and very new room. I think just renovate, room outside also is big area, Hotel is very quietly, come to 11.00pm all the coffee house is close, the hotel just infront the sea view turn at the back hotel is a main road, very convenient for the food restaurant, i like it, best features of the hotel, customer service with smile and english very well can understand. but we book with agoda offer very cheap.

I booked a deluxe room for $24 and I will say that this is the nicest room I have booked so far in Vietnam. Stylishly remodeled about one year ago. Hardwood floors; matching dark wood furniture; beautifully tiled bathroom with glass enclosed shower; nice Samsung flat panel tv with English sports and movie channels (although all the channels were fuzzy - perhaps they need to realign the satellite dish); comfy mattress with a thick soft comforter; and very quiet, right up until about 7am when the streets begin to buzz with motorbike traffic. Reception staff speak excellent English and are friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on site that serves reasonably priced meals, and also a bar with a pool table. Very convenient. It is a short walk to a beautiful park filled with interesting sculptures and from there to the sea side. You are not near a beach, but a harbor filled with fishing boats, very scenic location. Just to the north is the cable car, just to the south is the ferry stop, and farther around the corner is the giant Jesus statue. If you want to walk on the beach, you will have to hire a taxi. Restaurants and bars are numerous in this part of town. All that said, this is a great hotel! I will definitely be back!

We are couple for need a getaway from Saigon for a weekend. Ngoc Linh is a decent w newly renovated hotel that provides enough for short stay. We recommend everyone should give this hotel a try.

Stayed here for 4nights. Nice clean hotel, nice big firm bed with clean bedding. New Samsung aircon, tv (CRT) Free wifi with routers located everywhere, I mean a couple per floor! Facebook works too. The door was made of aluminium sheet and frosted glass panel. Very flimsy with only the doorhandle push button as the lock. Still a safe hotel, I had no problems with security. It does get a little noisy between 2230 and 2345 with various staff leaving the hotel. You can hear the horns beeping from the street outside, bikes starting up, people talking/shouting to eachother. There is a attached massage parlor you can get massages and more from. They don't visit your room so you will need to go see them. You need to order meals atleast 2hrs in advance or the night before. I found out when I went to brekfast and entered a empty dinning room with only tables and chairs. The staff still whipped up brekfast for me without any fuss. Made sure I had enough to eat and drink. Very friendly staff.

This gives you such a beautiful view to the sea. The owner couple is very friendly who always offer you to enjoy their nice free coffee in the common balcony. The bike is rented at reasonable price. The room is a little small, basic but clean. This place is right near the center but on the hill so quite quiet. The beach is reachable in 15 minutes walk but that beach is not really comfortable. For conclusion, we recommend this and will be back for sure.

The staff can speak decent English and they are very helpful. Right smack in the middle of everything, you can find food, bars, shops and massages easily. Just a 5mins walk to the beach where you can catch a stunning sunset :) The bunk bed is clean and comfortable, with privacy blinds too! Get a beer at the cafe downstairs and watch the locals go by :)

i stay a night at song huong which located behind rex hotel and royal hotel. in fact, my room on 2nd floor oversee the rex massage spa entrance. the hotel is an old hotel, however, it is very clean, has a spacious room, cozy wall to wall carpeted, wooden furniture and a balcony.it cost less than usd30 compared to royal hotel and rex hotel, considered cheap. it has all the cabel tv channel and great restaurant with reasonable price for dining. it location is also within less than 3 minutes walk to the town square.

Average hotel but the staff are very friendly and it was located close to where I needed to be. I previously have stayed here for 1 week and was comfortable. Cheap price range.

We had a pleasant stay with a lot of activities for my daughter (2 years old). She really enjoyed the water park, horse riding, children playgrounds, ... Binh Minh resort probably has the best view from the top in Vung Tau city.
