We booking room for 2 adult and 2 children with room on hill size the room quite big for us , breakfast with many kinds of food but dinner dish quite so expensive and resturant have to across the avenue on beach front my children quite enjoy also swimming pool big enough for peoples , staff quite helpfull but someone poor of Eng. The hotel not too far for habor and cable car ,however have to take taxi around, recommend Vinasun taxi.

Best location in Vung Tau, a quiet and romantic hotel looking out over the sea. The view at sunset over the infinity pool to the sea is just incredible. Indeed, it is worth coming here for the pool alone! Our room was spotless and well appointed. The staff are just gorgeous. So friendly and helpful. They booked transport for us to our next destination, and waited on us hand and foot. Excellent service and management. An excellent, generous breakfast worthy of a much more expensive establishment. Don't miss Vung Tau and a stay here at Cap Léman. If Saigon is the Paris of the east, Vung Tau is Cannes. This is a really lovely hotel.

Most outstanding performance by Receptionist Miss Phuong!!! Fast, quick witted and smiling all the time. Our group of 8 Adults, 2 Teenagers and 2 kids was put on the same floor, Level 7, excellent choice by Miss Phuong. The view of the Beach front form our room is great. Breakfast was not exceptional but value for money for a good start to the day. We loves the swimming Pool hidden right behind the Building, small but great fun and close interaction for the family. Strongly recommend to stay.

The Front Desk Ladies were just great! We were well taken cared off during our overnight stay. The shuttle service to and from the hotel to any destination in this small town was so convenient. The family suite was really nice and comfortable. The only thing that we didn’t like was that the toilet and shower are not separated. If the shower is being used, the person who wants to use the toilet will have to wait. And then, contend with the wet floor and toilet seat after somebody uses the shower...Otherwise, our stay was really excellent... Thank you Rose and Phuong of the Front Desk.

The service is really good. But there are some minus points: 1. Parking place is too small. We have to wait 15' - 1h to wait for getting our car. The waiter is very kind but the fat manager is not kind. He was uncomfortable with us although we are guest and our care was stuck. We have no fault here. 2. The rooms are clean but really small. Our window could not lock. The safe is not also working in both 2 rooms. 3. Swimming pool is really small. Just used for selfie and children. Lol. 4. There is fee for driver stay 200.000vnd per night if number of booked rooms are less than 5. They did not tell us that when we asked before we decide to book. However, they finally accepted to arrange a place for our driver when they knew that they did not tell us before.

What can I say , I don't give 10's but this place comes close - maybe a little expensive if you are travellering budget or semi budget . But overall exceptional . Staff went out of there way to help you . Great roof top bar and BBQ . Great breakfast delivered to your room or where ever you wish to eat . I stayed an extra 2 nites and will definitely return . You can hire bikes and they have a shuttle bus , which is very handy . And if you are an Aussie there is a bar 50 m down the road that is a must Belly's Watering Hole - anything you need to know about Vung Tau and area you will get here plus cheap cold beer and food .

Clean well appointed rooms in a quiet area of Vung Tau along the coast. A few bars, restaurants, and a somewhat acceptable mini-mart are within walking distance but a motorcycle or taxi is required to reach the rest of the centers on the island (i.e. Bai Sau and Bai Truoc). The staff was happy and helpful in providing a motorcycle for me during our stay. Big shopping center (Lotte Mart) and the only gas station we could find are about 2-3km away (interesting journey by motorcycle). Does not have a swimming pool.

The hotel doesn't locate within walking distance to the beach (Bai Sau) but it's ok to travel by bicycle or motor bike (only 2-3 mins). Cheap food is opposite the hotel (cost only VND25k/dish). Walking distance to Banh Khot- Cay Vu Sua, Banh bong lan Hot vit muoi - which are ones of the specialities of Vung Tau. Rent a motor bike and you could travel to anywhere in Vung Tau. The Jesus statue on the top of mountain could be reached within 2-3 mins by motorbike. Had a good time and enjoy food & beach.

Hotel was wonderful, very roomy parking lot for both car and motorcycle, next to city park and the beach, surrounded with convenience store, restaurant, coffee shop, sea food town. The security staff was very helpful and friendly but the receptionist not so cheerful. Upgraded to deluxe room for beach view and very satisfied. The room come with TV, refrigerator, hair dryer, air conditioner, pair of slipper and separated shower. The facilities was good and very clean, huge bed, room big enough for 2 adult and 1 kid. Included breakfast was also good but not very variety (its a 3 stars hotel so I wasnt expected too much). Overall I very recommended for couple and family travelers.

My 2 days stay is an amazing experience to me and my fiance. Although I book the wrong arrival date but the staff is friendly and supportive that help me to change the arrival date with no additional charge, I really appreciate your help, thank you!! Other thing need to improve is the buffet breakfast was included in the booking but somehow I only get buffet for Sunday morning, Saturday morning, we just have a normal dish which i think because of they don't have enough visitors so they decide not to serve buffet,and I think the hotel should communicate it more clearly to us on the website or something. Last thing is wifi connection, I stay from Friday afternoon to Sunday noon but I only got wifi connection on Friday, whole Saturday and Sunday the wifi device is malfunction and I cannot got the connection. Please communicate to us better and also please fix it faster. Personally I think it will not take 1 and a half day to fix it. Overall, it's still a good hotel and I really enjoy my 2 days here, thanks Agoda and the Coast hotel. Regards

The hotel is nice and clean The best thing is cheap price. Facilities are OK. Good view. Toilet is not ok because it smells nasty, I hope it will be better next time My room is hot in the afternoon, but it's ok I will book again if I come to Vung Tau

I have a lot of not good experience with hotels in Vung Tau as they were quite old and the facilities was not good. But this new one is extremely out of my expectation. I booked a room with 2 double beds, with balcony. The hotel is very near the coast, I can walk across the street just 100 meters to reach the beach and enjoy swimming in the sea. The room is very clean and well decorated. The main tone is white and furniture in pin goods color make it quite comfortable. The minus point : room square is not big

We were 6 people travelling to Vung Tau for a few days and ended up booking at Ocean Star as they had 2 triple rooms available. The hotel was clean, staff very courtesy and rooms comfortable, but we also really enjoyed that the location was on the local (not tourist) beach. While this meant that we swam in shorts and tshirts instead of bikinis (since the Vietnamese women swimming were also wearing long sleeves and long pants), we loved it. Much more interesting to see how Vietnamese tourists treat their beaches than us regular tourists Terrific grilled squid and octopus on the beach, as well as a 10-15 min walk around the corner for banh khot or bun mam soup. Would stay here again.

Our "Sandard" room was elegant and well furnished, spotlessly clean, with one comfortable king size beds (crisply ironed Frette sheets!). The hotel is very traditional and in the Roman style, with rather stiff but very cordial service .The bathroom was fine , very clean, with great hot water and pressure. It wasn't luxurious We walked everywhere from this central location and were surrounded on all sides by great vistas and attractions. Frankly I was quite surprised by some of the negative reviews speaking badly of the service, decor, furnishings, noise, a/c, etc.....and can only attribute this to people used to the "chain" hotels without soul or character. If you want Roman charm and character,in Vung Tau ,here's the best place for you Petrosetco Hotel

Elevator , hot water , location close to big beach and attractions, security 24/7 and lock up your bike, good food restaurant 2 minute walk away, pool and chill area with beautiful sea view , toiletries , water in cold refrigerator, towels, toilet tissue(nice soft thick kind) , room service .... It was all very nice. A lady is there that can speak some English and the staff is always nice and ready to help. I am sure to stay again on my next VT visit. Additional VT info....you can rent a motorbike when you exit the ferry. A group of guys working near the ferry ticket booth ( MR. LAM company name) rent out for 150,000 VD a day. Fast , easy, simple.. I gave money for a couple days and an ID card. When I returned they gave back my card with a smile and thank you.

We have booked 2 rooms for 5 persons. When we arrived they suggested us to change to 1 room with 4 beds (1.6x2m). After agreement, we were very surprised because the room was really clean and it has 2 air conditioner , 2 tv . It's quite comfortable for us. If only it has 2 WC because there is only 1WC. It takes time for preparation. Location is good,near restaurant and food places, just walking. One thing is the hotel located far from beach, we have to pay for 1-way going to beach.

This must be one of the best 2 star hotels in Vung Tau - maybe the best. The hotel is located in a quiet area which is perfect for nice rest. It is 1.5 km far from the beach, so a good walk in the morning to the beach is excellent. In addition, walking 1 km and you will reach Goc Vu Sua "banh khot" restaurant - one of the best for local food in Vung Tau, and a bar. The room is spacious and has everything you need. In other words, I thought that it was a 4 star room in a 2 star room. You can rent a motorbike at the hotel too. The receptionist is very friendly, helpful and always smile. I will definitely stay here again for next trips.

Pros: 1. Unique place, in all Vung Tau, the only place where you can literally stay above the ocean 2. Fishing right from the balcony while just laid back and enjoy the chill wind 3. Drink is so delicious with reasonaby price 4. Staff is friendly and very helpful when you ask for places around the city 5. Can buy seefood outside and enjoy them on the balcony ( just try not to get the room dirty ) Cons: Because of the coffee shop below so it is a little bit noisy at 7-9pm

My wife and I had a great time there. It was our Wedding Anniversary and I asked the manager via email to surprise my wife by placing petals on our bedroom. And they did! She was soo delighted for that surprise! As a traveller, this was my first time the management offered that without surcharge and responded to my request. The ocean view is fine. The hotel is just in front of the beach so you do not need to take a cab or walk too far for the beach. But what we attracted most is to go to the Jesus Christ Statue which is similar to the Rio Janiero in Brazil. It is just near to the hotel so no hassle for us. The room is clean, spacious and they have friendly staffs as well. I also admire their understanding since I went back there to the room since we thought we left our mobile phone. Funny part, I look over the entire room with the chambermaid and helped me out to find it. All the while It was in my wife's bag. So, to me, despite of it, they have been patient and tried their best to help me out. The pool is also nice though not really the best. Food is great too for a breakfast. We love the Pho noodles they prepare. Overall, I would love to go back there. hopefully with our kids since its also nice for kids as beach is nearby. :)

I'd only planned to stay a couple of days but ended up staying 8 nights in total. Located down a quiet street maybe 100 metres from the beach, I had a double room with a nice big window, good tv and fridge. Spotlessly clean throughout and cleaned every day to a high standard. The price I paid was very good value for the quality of accommodation. The price went up drastically over the Tet holiday (to be expected to an extent) so I haven't rebooked here on my return to Vung Tau, but I would definitely stay here again if the price returns to a reasonable level after Tet.

I stayed here for 2 nights and lived it. Friendly staff, easy checking in and out, they even ordered me a bus back to Ho Chi Minh City. The room was really clean, lots of towels and crisp white bedlinen. I booked a standard seaview room and I had a little table and chairs on a terrace outside my room. I could sit here and look out to sea, listen to the fishing boats chugging by, and watch the sun set. The location of the hotel was about 20 mins walk from the Giant Jesus statue and 10 mins from Front Beach. Lots of places to eat and drink within a couple of mins walk. Great value for money. Would recommend.

I know Vung Tau very well having been to Vung Tau on many occasion and spent a lot of my free time in the city over the years. I have relatives living in Vung Tau and visited them very often. On this occasion I selected Sakura Hotel in Vung Tau thinking that they must be somehow related to the Japanese Sakura Hotels and be a quiet place which I need on this trip away from the beach scene. Little I know that it is a small boutique family run hotel. It was the warm welcome of the lady owner Hoa and her whole family, which set the tone for a very pleasant stay. We talk for a while after our arrival. Since the rain was pouring, my partner did not want to go out for lunch. I ended up driving the motorbike offered by the owner to the market and bought some food. The owner also offered me to join for lunch but I told her perhaps the dinner would be better as I can go and buy fresh seafood from the local market to cook myself. We bought some scallop and the owner bought two large head of salmon for me to grill. Dinner was so good with all the dishes we could enjoy together with a lot of cold beers offered by the owners. Next day we bough octopus and some small fishes and we eat with the family both lunch and dinner with lot of cool beers. I ended up going to bed around 12 midnight and had to wake up at 3:30 AM to be picked up at 4 AM by the Phuong Nam Bus direct to Tan Son Nhat Airport. The trip was too short, but I have now found very good friends in the family and would want to recommend to anyone travel with their family and friends to stay at Sakura Hotel in Vung Tau, especially if you do enjoy cooking seafood and avoid the bad restaurants, who try to rip off the visitors to Vung Tau.

Across the street from the beach. Restaurants in the area. Short walk to town. Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent TV cable, very good breakfast. No complaints.

Super Room is advertised to be 30 sqm, but in fact, the room is only about 20 sqm, pretty narrow and suffocating. The facility is below the quality of a typical 3-star hotel.

Only stayed for one night here. The location is brilliant within easy walking distance to many bars and restaurants and only a short drive/ride to the sea front and all major attractions. Only had two issues with the hotel itself. One was the amount of noise in the corridors (probably not the hotels fault - noisy clients). The other issue was the lack of really hot water. The shower was luke-warm at best. Staff spoke english and were very helpful and efficient.

The price is reasonable with a full furnished room and kitchen. I really enjoy my stay and will come back. Before i took leave, the landlady run to find me bcoz i forgot my iphone 7plus at the room. I am really impressed and appreciated her kindness

Khi tôi book phòng thì trên hình là view núi, tới nhận phòng thì lại là phòng khác, nước suối thường thì free 1 đêm 2 chai, nhưng đây lại tính thêm tiền, hotel ngủ lại thì cũng ok nhưng chắc tôi sẽ không quay lại lần 2.
