Find hotels near Phường 5 in Vung Tau, Vietnam

I visited Valley Mountain Hotel for a few days to relax at the end of my trip. I stayed in the VIP room which were pristinely kept, very clean and comfortable. While I was in Vung Tau my camera when missing, the staff at the hotel were very helpful with calling up the restaurant and taxi company where I last recall having it to help me try and get it back. Unfortunately, the camera was never found but the staff did everything they could to help me. During my staff I was made to feel very welcome. I spent a lot of time but the pool and had the opportunity to observe how much the staff do to keep the hotel running smoothly and looking great. The chef accommodated my request for vegan breakfast and the food was good. The only minor shortfall is that the hotel is a way out of Vung Tau but it is worth it for the peace and quiet and it is easy enough to get a cab into town.

+ Their facility is great. New and clean. They also provide motorbike for rent, which is very convenient. + The pool is OK. The view is great. However, they should consider having the pool temperature controlled. We couldn't enjoy it much due to the freezing water. + Their staff is very helpful and nice. - The location is quite far from the center. - Their breakfast is a joke. They gave us 2 eggs and some breads. Plus, we need to cook the eggs ourselves. I mean, they could've done it better for the money I paid. That was the worst breakfast I've had so far. They should just cut the breakfast out of the benefit provided and stated that there's no breakfast; it'd be better for me. Overall, I don't think I'd return because I know for this value, there're better places in Vung Tau. I hope they can take my feedback and have some improvements.

First I must disclaim that we often stay in 4-5 star resorts so our review can be a little harsh. The hotel is probably around 5-6 years old. Not everything is in perfect condition, but overall it was good. We stayed in the Luxury room, the highest grade based on the staff's advice. The room was good, the air-conditioner was working well, staffs were very nice. The location is a bit off, you can see the beach but cant walk over because the hotel is on a high ground. You will have to travel around 5-10mins to a public beach. There is a small swimming pool in the compound though, but we didnt you it. Breakfast is probably the thing that the hotel needs to improve the most. We came up for breakfast at around 9am, all of the self serving food were cold. The only thing warm was the soupy noodle, which must be prepared and served hot by a staff. For a US$80/night room, I would expect it to be significantly better. But I guess food is always the hardest part of a hotel operation. Overall, I think hotels in Vung Tau are too expensive. it could be because they cant really sell it during weekdays and hence have to hike the price up during weekend. If you are to travel to Vung Tau, book early and you may get a fairer value. That said, Valley Mountain is a good place to stay

Good location, peaceful surroundings, great view. Not too far from center. Easy parking, both scooters and cars. Breakfast available. Not too many choices but overall the quality was great and tasty. Very small swimming-pool. I preferred calling it a swimming-pond (not pool). Make sure you swim after 6 pm when there is nobody using. Otherwise, it is crowded because of the kids. Please remember if you are put into room 309, make sure to check the room if they have installed the central light inside the room. When I was staying in this room, it was a bit dark because they only had sleeping lights inside the room. 40 inch TOSHIBA TV. Great for watching your own movies. Hot water available for showering.

Spaciously as it is. Full bright & wind with nice views to both ocean & mountain. Full facilities for cooking lover. Must-chose flat for family with kids or even coupe is still good.

A warmly quiet apartment with nice view to the shore. Self-services. Clean. Full facilities. Memorable staying.

Owner was v nice. Location was just far enough from busy to b accessible but quieter. More private beach was close. Good price for stay.

The apartment is really nice & cozy, easy check-in process, helpful assistance. Enjoyed the sunset or sunrise stunning views. Can park car & close to a local seafood restaurant.

Hosts are really nice and friendly. The accommodation has big balcony, beautiful view to the sea. The air is fresh and cool that I don't even need the air conditioner. Overall I had great experience while staying there.
