Fabulous little place in Phu Quoc”
Perfectly located on Long Beach in Phu Quoc. Owners are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. My reservation I made with Agoda git cancelled. By mistake. So when we arrived they had no reservation or payment. The showed us 2 different rooms! Then told us just to pick one and we could have room now and worry bout details later. We stayed a few steps from the amazing beach and restaurant. The included breakfast had plenty of great choices. And so delicious every time. Beer is cheap. Rooms very clean and housekeeping staff are wonderful. Scooter rental on site and the scooter was the newest model I’d rented in Vietnam. It was modern and well maintained. All in all it’s a great place. We’re alresdy planning our trip back. Oh and the massage tables (on right as you enter the beach from the bungalows ) are great. Highly recommend. We also ate fruit and baked goods for sale on beach and everything was amazing.

Beautiful gardens and on the beach”
We recently stayed at Phu Quoc Kim Bungalow On The Beach for a week. It is in an excellent location- close to great restaurants and shops. Very quiet at night. We enjoyed sitting on the deck outside our room. Lovely to walk down the hibiscus lined path to the beach. Great breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.

We wanted a bungalow that’s not far from the beach and so we found Kims bungalows and it’s really nice there. Friendly staff, really good breakfast and the way to the beach is just 30 meters. We will come back when we are on phu quoc

The staffs were very friendly and nice, but when I checked out and asked for a taxi, the manager or an owner of this hotel who took me to the next hotel by his own car instead of a taxi, I thought it was a free pick-up service, but it wasn't, I've been to Phu Quoc Island 3 times so far and the most Phu Quoc hotels where I was stayed had free pick-up services, but He demanded me to pay 150,000 VND for only about in a 5 minutes distance It was not the distance to pay 150,000 VND that if I used a taxi I think that maybe it is the distance about around 50,000 VND by a taxi He was pretending to be kind, but it was seems to be a kind of cheat He was worse than rip-off taxi in Vietnam, so Be careful if you use a car of this hotel for transport to somewhere instead of a taxi,This event made me feel the worst about this hotel, I will never want to stay this hotel again even staffs are friendly and nice

AMAZING”
I had pretty high expectations before I came to Phu Quoc and Kim Bungalow hotel. I have to say, this was beyond my expectations. Amazing hotel! I got the room next to the beach, and right outside my door there was a restaurant which served free breakfast with a lot of variety on the menu. The staff are super friendly, helpful and hardworking people. The beach is clean and there’s plenty of sun beds you can use. Definitely not to crowded on the beach and not too little people either, just a perfect amount, haha. I LOVED staying here. The rooms are clean and nice and you have many restaurants in the area to choose between. I’m recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Phu Quoc. I doubt you’ll be disappointed. Next time I’m going here I’ll stay at Kim Bungalow for sure! I felt like I was living like a queen for one week, haha. It’s a paradise for real.

Nice, small family resort on the beach”
We loved our 6 nights stay at Phu Quoc Kim Bungalow On The Beach (triple a/c room) and would definitely stay there again. The location is great, right on the beach, not far from the Duong Dong town (about 2,5 km). Bungalows are basic, clean, towels were changed every day + separate beach towels. The restaurant, also on the beach, serves very good food, especially fish dishes and pho soup were my favorites, and the prices are very reasonable. The owner, Kim, is very kind and helpful. She arranged us taxis, sightseeing and fishing and snorkeling tours and gave us lots of useful information.

Great Location on Long Beach”
We stayed in the deluxe bungalow right on the beach...I'm sure it was the closest accommodation to the beach on all of Long Beach! We had a private patio, and as the restaurant was just across the path, we had breakfast and drinks served there...sheer luxury! Despite being close to the action, our bungalow was very quiet. I would rate this as a 2* hotel by North American standards but who needs a fancy room when you're outside most of the time. No bouncing on the beds - they're too hard, but better that than too soft. I had a bout of food poisoning and was brought a big mug of ginger tea; my husband had a stain on his pants and they laundered it for free. The staff went above and beyond...from booking, through reception, the 'boys' at the restaurant, to organizing tours for us. All in all a great week on Phu Quoc Island, made so by the friendly staff at Phu Quoc Kim Bungalows.

Great bungalows with amazing service”
we stayed here for 5 nights and had a hard time leaving. these bungalows are surrounded by plants and flowers and each one has a porch. the rooms were spotless and were cleaned every day (and this was during tet.) each one has some view of the ocean. we never got sick of getting served our free breakfast on the porch. it's right on the beach but not facing the beach which was fine. on the beach they have chairs and umbrellas for guests. it's also on a good part of long beach since some of that beach can be rocky or a little dirty. only sand and they keep their area of the beach clean. it's also close to a lot of other great restaurants and bars. i would definitely recommend this place to stay if your looking for a non-resort experience on phu quoc.

Perfect stay !”
WE Are a young couple - travelled a lot around Vietnam and just wanted to relax for some days. Phu quoc is not cheap like the mainland but the bungalows are clean cosy and very quiet so it was really worth it. Just 10 m to the beach - bars and restaurants around. The hotel has its own French bakery - we miss it!

Excellent stay at Phu Quoc Kim bungalows”
A great stay at Phu Quoc Kim bungalows. Some criticism I have read seems unjustified in my opinion and some just plain wrong. For instance for someone to complain about the price is ridiculous. At around $32 for a room in main garden area just 20 metres from the sand and water is about as cheap as is possible to get in the area, ( ie for hotel or rooms actually right on the beach) and to suggest that better quality places could be had for a cheaper price did not prove anywhere near correct as all hotels nearby were in fact much more expensive. Someone complaining about ants was also silly as although the door to bumgalows does allow space for ants to crawl through there I only say 4 or six and they all seemed to dislike the aircon temperatures as they generally proceeded insidea metre or so and went back out again. Someone saying no refrigerator also wrong as all rooms that I saw( when I viisted neighbours) all had a good small fridge. I readily recommend this hotel

We stayed at Kim Bungalows on the beach with my Mum in a deluxe room. Simple but good value for money and the great location on the beach is just amazing ! you can rent a scooter, Kim will be happy to help you to discover the Island. Family atmosphere with a few kids around, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to everyone ! We will definitely come back.

This place is a little slice of heaven and I will definitely be returning. The rooms are simple, nothing fancy, but there is a fridge, TV, hot shower and good wifi. My bed was not comfortable and the staff immediately brought a memory foam topper to rectify the problem. The room was cleaned well each day and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was standard, with about ten choices to order, included was coffee, main course and choice of fruit plate or fresh fruit juice. The beach is steps away from the bungalows and the restaurant is on the beach. There are hibiscus flowering everywhere on the property, which is just lovely. Each bungalow has it's own porch. The bungalows are in the middle of the main strip of beach with plenty of restaurants and spas to choose from. The owners of the hotel speak very good English and French and were nothing but accommodating while I was there. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing beach vacation.

Great location and peaceful ”
I've stayed here twice now, once with my mom and sister and once with my boyfriend. Both times were great. The family that owns and runs this place is very nice, and the location is great. The rooms are VERY basic and minimal but they have air con which is a big plus, and you'll be spending most of your time out at the beach anyway. I loved sitting on the porch in the mornings, and if you ask the staff when you go down to order breakfast, they will bring your food up to your room so you can eat on your porch. The one thing is that the food, though quite good, is rather overpriced - if you walk just next-door the food is considerably cheaper. I definitely recommend this place to stay in Phu Quoc, but not to someone who is looking for any amount of luxury to their room.

One of the last hotels left on the beach”
Because Phu Quoc Kim is one of the last hotels on the beach not being renervated it has a monopoly on beach front living. The rooms were OK as was breakfast, their bar is gone, the beach out front is reasonably clean. I appeared to lose some money whilst staying there,can't point finger at anyone buy all of a sudden I had money but not one dong in my wallet.

Perfect value for money in the area ”
Located directly at the beach. Very convenient. Owner/reception Kim speak English French and Vietnamese so no communication barrier and very very friendly. The only contact I can think of is the shower. It's located between toilet and sink so very slippery. But if you ask for an additional trowel to put on groun problem solved. The location is surrounded with cafe's . shops and restaurants. Motorbike rental is next door too. I planned to stay 4 days but at the end after checking out several hotels I stayed 12 days. I definetly recommend this place and I will return for sure

24 steps from the sea on beautiful beach”
We had arranged pick up from airport, but this didn't happen, and the taxi vultures were circuling. So I had to cool the hotel, we arranged witn an airport taxi driver to bring us - we were told this was free due to forgetting our transfer. Beach hut was clean and modern and we were right on the beach, 24 steps from the sea, very close to the restaurant. Lovely beach and calm sea, lovely long walk up and down the coast line too - romantic! Hotel restaurant food was fine and reasonably priced, walking distance to plenty of other restaurants and shops. We had planned to hire a motorbike for the 3 days on the island to see other secluded beaches. But this proved to be a big problem. Motorbike broke down 4 times, didn't get too see much apart from lots of dirt roads walking alongside the motorbike pushing it along. Out of desperation went into someones home and asked for help and water. Handed the business card for the hotel that I had picked up from the reception display to ask the family to call the hotel for us - turns out this was a relatives hotel in the north of Vietnam - so that was no help. Noticed a name and mobile number on the motorbike key - turns out he was nothing to do with the hotel he had loaned them the bike and had no inclination to come and rescue us from where we where stranded. The family got the motorbike to start, and we mangaged to get back to the hotel eventually. So decided no point to keep the bike and stay local. So returned bike full of petrol - what a waste of $7 and a day! When we came to leave, we were only charged $5 for the motorbike, but were charged for the transfer from the airport despite being told it was free due to them forgetting us. Also "forgot" that we had pre-paid in full, but when we pointed this out, took that part of the bill. So in conclusion - nice people, but a not on the ball and check final bill, beautiful location, and don't hire a motorbike!
