Exceptional”
Stayed for 4 nights. Highly recommend the resort. Big aircon rooms, high ceilings, comfortable bed, coffee and tea facilities, minibar, bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, wifi in rooms, what else one can ask for. Excellent breakfast with continental and Vietnamese food. Nice swimming pool, a little gym, nice gardens with a lake and a few pods. What made our stay even more unforgettable/even the constant rain/ was the staff. We want to thank Hai and all her colleagues for taking care of us. They all care for what they do and make customers feel valued. Thank you!

Clean and tip top service”
Breakfast was great! You can book a free shuttle bus (fixed timing by hotel) to ancient town and back. The gym was not available during my stay :( Overall, it is a nice location with pharmacy,minmarts, bars and food stalls nearby. Its 15-20mins walk away to ancient town . The room is spacious enough for two people and offers a nice view

Good and nice hotel”
Delux room is good but the plastic cover in bad to avoid water running in the bathroom is to long. This is given an impression of to be dirty. Maybe cut approx.15 or 20 cm and it doesn't look no more dirty. Breakfast was good. There was enough chose and also cheese. People are Friendlytravel. You can receive a free bycycle and towel to drive to An Bang beach . This is approx 7 km. There is also a shuttle but this has to be paid . Prise and quality are good.

2D in HoiAn”
I have booked 2 Junior suit in 1 booking, however, was allocated 1 room downstair and the other 1 upstairs :) Staff - can be better and be more polite. Location - is very far from ancient town and night market, but they is a free shutter service until 4pm only :), you can ask the reception to contact with the bike renting. Room - Big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast - Good with variety of choice.

Was okay, bad customer service ”
I don't really know how to rate this hotel. The pool was really nice and clean and generally the outdoor area and restaurant were very nice. At the restaurant they were always friendly and the breakfast was good. The room smelled a little and we ended up changing rooms because there was a problem with the hot water. After the maintenance guy (who was way friendlier than the receptionists) was sent to our room twice and still couldn't fix it we requested a room change (they just wanted to send him a third time). If they would've been friendly and apologize for the incident or at least thank us for our patience it would've been fine, but unfortunately bad customer service can really spoil the experience. The free foot massage was nice and the ladies at the spa were really nice (even though somehow our appointment that we booked at the reception wasn't on the schedule and we had to wait). Apparently you have to reserve the bicycles 2h in advance. Overall we enjoyed our stay, especially the pool but wouldn't go there again. (Don't order pizza, it's tiny!)

Decent hotel. The new rooms are much much better than the old ones. The pool is great. Breakfast is good, but they need to have covers on the food to avoid the flies on the food. Staff at the hotel are pretty bad, just disinterested and seem to go out the way to be unhelpful

Good for the price”
It’s worth the price I paid. I didn’t try the pool but did see someone use it (I went in low season) and it looks nice. It’s about 15-20 walk from the main town centre. My biggest complaint was the mini fridge because it made so much noise during the night.

The room was not that clean and there’s no free water. You have to pay VND 15,000 per bottle. Also, the airport transfer services is not the same price as shown on the website. It’s far more expensive. In addition, wifi was so bad, you can’t even connect it even you’re in your room or outside your room.

A hidden charm of Hoi An ”
Phu Thinh resort took us by surprise with its lovely resort ground and amazing hospitality. We have stayed in many hotels in Vietnam, and this hotel had become one of our new favorite. We booked 3 rooms for our family of 6, us, 2 adults children and 2 younger children . The resort had meet all our expectations and much more. Our room was nice and clean. We got complimentary fresh fruits and water delivered to our room every day. I requested 3 rooms next to each other and we received that. We had a great view of the pool and the resort ground from our patios. With the nice sitting area on our third floor patios , we enjoyed our coffee while taking in the nice greenery of Hoi An. The pool was nice and clean. There was always staffs on site to help with whatever you need from a nice refreshing beer to ice cream for the little one. There were fresh towel available as well as life vest for one might needed. Our buffet breakfast included with the room, were delicious. Plenty of choice from fruits, breads, bacon, eggs to yummy local food such as My Quang, Pho, and an egg station. The restaurant situated right next to a lotus fish pond . The nice breeze and the view are amazing . Couldn’t have ask for a better start of my day. We had lunch as the restaurant one of the day, the food was good. It can be a bit pricey compared to other restaurants in town but well priced for a resort price. What made Phu Thinh become our new favorite is its staffs! During our stay, every one was smiling, happy to help and extremely friendly and kind to all of us. Our check in was smooth and informative. The check in desk was there for whatever we need from calling for a taxi drive, arranging our transfer to lending us bikes for our morning rides. Everyone was professional yet friendly. We will definitely come back to this hotel if we come back to Hoi An. Thank you for a great stay!!!!

A great place to relax or have an adventure”
The Phu Thinh Boutique Resort and Spa was our favourite hotel in Vietnam. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean, overlooking the pool, hotel garden and the rice paddies beyond. The staff were friendly and helpful…even remembered our names. The hotel is well managed and there is a lot of attention to detail to make your stay enjoyable (flowers in the room, fresh fruit plate). We took advantage of the free bikes to explore the city as well as participated in two programs the hotel offers. We did the cooking class with Chef Tuan which included a trip to the market and foot massage. They were open to customizing the program for us as we had been to several markets and I have very sensitive feet. We did a tour of vegetable and herb gardens as well as a local village and had a neck/shoulder massage. Both were amazing!! The cooking class itself was excellent; we chose from a variety of menu items and Chef Tuan gave us detailed instructions and demonstrations....and they we got to do everything ourselves. We learned so much about Vietnamese cuisine. Our other trip was fishing with Mr. Tung. We went by bicycle (and ferry) to Cam Nam Island. We traveled through a few towns and were able to see traditional wood carvers and weavers in action (with no pressure to purchase). We got to our fishing spot along a river. Locals passed by giving us advice. Unfortunately, the weather had been unseasonably cold and the fish weren't biting. We didn't mind; it was a great journey. Mr. Tung brought us a fish later that day from a previous catch for our supper. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra day!

Friendly, smiling staff; great pool”
I stayed at the Phu Thinh Boutique Resort & Spa for 12 days using the resort as my base for exploring Hoi An and surroundings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had great variety. The hotel has free shuttle service to both the beach and Hoi An old town centre, so it is actually nice that the hotel is in a quiet area as you still have access to all the sights. There are great local restaurants in the area, the one across the road has great local food and inexpensive beer. Turning left from the hotel, there is a small mini-mart with good stock and pricing (no need to bargain) and a couple of restaurants with a choice of local or western food. (rated on Tripadvisor). I also used the hotel's tour service to book day trips to Marble Mountains and My Son Ruins. All in all very happy with my stay, even though June seems to be a really hot and humid time to visit with temperatures around 35-39 degrees celcius every day. Would gladly come back at a cooler time of year to visit again.
