Great location and staff! Home away from home”
Rooms are clean, big and complete with fridge, bathtub and strong hot and cold water anytime. WiFi is free. Linens are also clean. It's like a family owned and managed bed and breakfast type of accommodation with personal touch. Elevator even if slow is very functional and reliable. Breakfast is simple but sufficient and tasty. Best coffee served during that trip so I looked forward to my morning coffee while staying at this hotel. It is walking distance to Behn Tanh Market but away from the noise, traffic and crowd. A block away from the location of Saigon River. Since our flight was late at night, we are deeply grateful for the chance to use their dining area to pack our luggages for our trip home. And the best part is a chance to use their shower room for us to freshen up and change clothes. I will surely return to this hotel when I travel to Ho Chi Minh City in the future. I will also recommend this hotel to my relatives and friends. The hotel staff were all kind and helpful during our stay

Very helpful and smiling staff”
I messed up with the booking and managed to book the second, third and fourth night in Ho Chi Minh, but omitting the first. When we arrived at the hotel at 3:30am and my mistake had been established, the manager arranged that my 7-year-old daughter and me stay at a hotel 200m away as they did not have a room available themselves. Breakfast was great for a European: fried eggs, bread, peanut butter and tea. Rooms were clean, no noise from outside or within. A 15-minute walk takes you to Ben Tahn Market where all the bus terminals are. Super price for the service, location and rooms.

Far away but excellently run.”
Phuc Khanh is about 15 minute walk from where most of the backpackers hotels are and where the dive bars are but Tony who runs the hotel is an awesome person. You get to pick from a couple of local breakfast fares and he goes out and gets it for you plus some tea and coffee. He set me up with a couple of places to go see and booked a trip for me the morning of. He is awesome. The hotel itself is pretty no-frills but you definitely get more than what you pay for.

Highly recommended. I'd definitely go back”
The taxi driver from the airport claimed he knew where it was, but really struggled, even though (in reality) it's pretty easy to find. When he finally found the place he wanted a special tip for finding it and was disappointed not to get one! In fact, the hotel is in District 1 which is very handy for everything in Ho Chi Minh City centre. But it's just far enough away from the tourist hubbub to be quiet and restful. The room itself was good: a reasonable size, air conditioning (very necessary when I was there), moderstly but decently appointed, big flatscreen TV (if that's your thing) with numerous channels. OK en suite. The staff were very willing and friendly. They also speak English. Breakfast was very strange, but edible.

Nice hotel in Saigon.”
Phuc Khanh Hotel is located near the most important day time and night time attractions of Saigon. The price - quality ratio is good for this type of hotel. The staff is ready to satisfy your needs punctually and professionally. Rooms are nice, silent and clean, including the bathroom. Good internet connection via WiFi available on every floor of the hotel. Breakfast is served every day and it respect the standards of the hotel itself. Last of all, this hotel may represent a good choice for everyone looking for a nice place to stay at a budget price.

Spacious room, good service, budget price”
my business trip is usually allow me to stay in 5 star hotel, i departed 1 day earlier than schedule, means the hotel cost will be from my pocket. I choose the cheapest price from Agoda for the hotel around district 1. this is why I came accross this hotel. My experience staying in this hotel : Amazed by the service, room size, cleanliness, and breakfast! What you received is more than what you pay! I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for budget price. Friendly staff, clean room. Only thing is the location will need you to walk for about 10-15 mins to benh thanh market. overall : satisfied with my choice

The location does it for me.”
Yet again, this was a very pleasent stay at the hotel. Friendly staff that make you feel welcome the moment you walk thru the door. Beware that there is s redevelopment going on next door but, full marks, the hammering doesn't start at sun-up but dont plan on a quiet lie-in in the mornings. I will be returning to the Hotel Phuc Khanh again. Thank you Tony and staff.

Good value hotel in good enough location”
located on the outskirts of District 1, the Phuc Khan hotel is a few blocks walk away from Backpacker street as well as the center of HCMC. The staff were helpful enough and warned us about keeping our valuables safe when we go out because of the theft that occurs (fortunately we experienced none). The room is small, no windows except one that faces a building wall a meter away. I'd also say it seems clean enough and it comes with a TV and fridge. This place is probably one of the best value accommodations in the area for a budget traveller.

Good and Cheap”
if you are looking for a cheap and good hotel / hostel that is about 15 mins around the tourist area, this is the place you have to go. Alot of street food near by that starts from 25k. Ben Thanh Market is about 13 mins away. breakfast comes with 2 eggs + baguette + banana + Vietnam coffee and slices of tomato and cucumber ( i mean, for that kind of price USD15 per night with a/c and water heater.. its DAMN GOOD ) staff at the counter are friendly too, their tour price are also acceptable half day cu chi tunnel for less than USD 10 and full day mei kong river for less than USD 15.

Excellent”
My second stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly, the location in district 1 is very good, and they keep the room clean. You can walk or take Grab taxi (very inexpensive) to many must see spots in Saigon. Cold air cond. The free breakfasts are an added bonus for a traveler on a budget. It's a very good value. My only complaint would be that noise from construction continues the same as last August when I stayed there, and begins around 8:00 am. Not a big deal for me, just worth mentioning if you're not an early riser. I would stay there again.

Acceptable”
The hotel is on the right place, easy to get around Ho Chi Minh City also many visiting spots are very close to the hotel. No need to rent a car or ride a taxi. just walk. Hotel is old but the room is clean enough. AC is working, the water heater is working too, and the receptionist is very polite and helpful. Thank you so much.

Great staff and location.”
Once again, I had an enjoyable stay with the Phuc Khanh, even though I only booked the day before. If you are slightly military minded, then the surplus military market is half a block away, Just ask at the desk. Enjoy your visit, i know I did. regards,

Above average”
Phuc Khanh Hotel and Phuc Khanh 2 Hotel are the same hotel but the former doesn't accept credit card payments online and only take cash; no receipts were issued for cash payment, which is annoying. Unable to contact Phuc Khanh Hotel via its email address .. it bounced back. Staff should be more courteous and friendly would be good. The lady at the reception, Ms Ha, was polite and helpful though. Place is quite near to Saigon Square / Centre ... about 20 minutes walk and some cafes and food shops near to the hotel.

Quaint Hotel in the heart of real life”
This hotel was close to Ben Thanh market and other attractions, but not close enough where you feel tourist. It was in the heart of real vietnamese living. Coming from Hanoi, we felt right at home. All of the staff were extremely friendly and spoke excellent english. They were quite helpful in booking us the Cu Chi tunnel tour at a rate we could afford. As a family of four, budget travel was essential! The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. All was clean. Breakfast was reasonable, a fried egg and bread with hot tea. For the money spent, the value was excellent.
