A legit hotel highly recommended if you are staying in Phuket town. Location: Awesome, it is just 200m away from the old Phuket bus terminal where the airport bus stops. It is also within the walking distance to the famous old town streets - approx 10 mins of slow walk. Hotel: Clean, modern, arty, new. The superior room is large and has a balcony with ceiling fan overlooking the mountain. The room even has a lounge resting space with a king size bed. The lobby area is big and cosy, with a resting lounge lobby area with private resting pods for reading/surfing while large communal tables for group fun board games etc. There is a small gym with 3 running machines and a small pool (5m) meant for dipping only. Super strong Wi-Fi available in room or in lobby. Staff: Friendly front desk service and staff can be seen cleaning the hotel every now and then. Nearby: Convenience stores are available 50m away and there is a few local Thai food stores too. I would certainly stay here again if I come back to Phuket.

This is my 2nd stay here after my 1st visit with friends since the last two years. Time flies but still being well-maintainance, clean, boutique, and lively hotel with great staff with friendly manner. It's still my recommended hotel in Phuket Town which is not far from few tourist attractions, 3 minutes from Central Shopping Mall and around 12-15 minutes from Phuket Old Town by car. Also recommended for people who love taking a photo either portrait or hotel's interior and exterior. Minimal Sino-Portuguese in Contemporary Style is my definition for this hotel's design.

this hotel is new open hotel in phuket town. it is very modern style, different guests room will have different kinds of decoration. their logo is a blue monkey, the owner use the blue monkey design to make the key rings and the no.of the doors. it was very interested experience to stay at blue monkey.

We stayed in a Sala Pool Villa and Superior Sea View on separate days, and the facilities in both are fantastic. The pool villa has less privacy that I would have liked (next to a pathway, pool is next to entrance to room), but the view over the bay was truly fantastic! For the difference in price, we feel that the Sea View is adequate, though reaching the rooms is a bit of a hike. The resort is fantastic overall, and we will likely return if we come back to Phuket. I wouldn't recommend the resort to those with accessibility concerns and/or strollers owing to the terrain. Breakfast is expensive if not included in the rate, and the restaurants are certainly a bit more expensive than in the city. Cocktails are well mixed, and service was excellent everywhere that we went. Room service isn't unreasonably expensive, and service is quick. It is important to note, however, that the beach is not very nice and serves more as a scenic touch than as a useful swimming area. At low tide (mid-afternoon), the beach is mostly mud. The resort is quite secluded, though the hotel has an inexpensive shuttle into two major shopping areas (alternating days) if you want to get out and about. Taxi service to Phuket Town is also an option, at 400 Baht per direction.

This hotel is easily the best hotel in Phuket Town. Every day we had free snacks bought to our room, including a variety of fruit and even two freshly baked slices of cake from the hotel owners bakery down the road. This hotel is expensive for Phuket Town but would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody with a night or two to spare in Phuket Town.

We were looking for a place to sleep after our tiring day. We found this place while we were heading to Sapan Hin. At first sight I thought " Wow ! such a lovely place " and after we visited Sapan Hin, me and my family decided to stay at the hotel. I swear to god that you'll find no place like this in the same price. An Out door swimming pool on the top floor, a sky high Gym, a yoga, sauna and steam room also the Hi speed WIFI all included for three persons. All staffs were friendly and willing to help no matter how difficult problem you had. We felt very comfortable when we were in this most valuable hotel in Phuket town.

The hotel is located in Phuket Town which is good for shopping in small shops as well as big markets, Thai people around the area are very friendly to every one, the hotel is very close to different cafeterias and restaurants so that you can have your food either in the hotel or outside just by walking. The area is quite during the night which makes you more relax. They also have tourist packages, they arranged a trip for me & my wife to go and visit different islands including James bond island, etc.... Very good and please keep up the same efforts.... I love the hotel because location is excellent. Next to the hotel is Limelight Avenue shopping mall where you can buy ready meals, snacks, and groceries at Tops supermarket from 06.00 am. to midnight. Clean and cozy rooms. Professional and friendly staff . They made my holidays brighter. The hotel, apparently less than two years old, makes up for its lack of facilities (like swimming pool, gym, sauna) by its centrally location (especially for those visitors who prefer to stay & explore old Phuket town rather than the beaches), friendly & highly attentive staff, and very clean & well-maintained rooms & compounds! This is a family vacation (my parents and I), and the family suite with one queen-sized bed and a bunk-bed, 2 TVs, a study desk area and a colorful sofa/couch, that we stayed at, fully met our needs. The hotel is a 10-15 mins walking distance to Old Phuket Town. Right outside the hotel is a big Robinson Shopping Center with MacDonalds & KFC, a big wet market / food center, bars, restaurants and massage parlors. The hotel staff from Front Desk to Housekeeping are very friendly and attentive to all our requests! Definitely very value for money!

Took some time to find Sino House Hotel because the shuttle bus from the airport dropped us off quite far from the hotel. Sino House turned out to be a very pleasant hotel: the reception staff were very welcoming, the rooms were large and modern with free wi-fi and everything was neat & clean in this small hotel. The hotel is opposite a big book shop close to the main post office and a number of shops were just round the corner. Very pleasant hotel in Phuket Town!

Slightly questionable on arrival as there was no main check in desk and we were taken out front to the side, when we entered there were signs saying ‘no tourists’. BUT apart from that... Our room was amazing, the pool was cool and had a lovely time! We rented bikes as it’s not really walking distance to Phuket town or the nearby markets otherwise would have needed taxis everywhere.

we really enjoyed our stay at sb living hotel. it had a completely separate building 20 feet away from the main hotel that contained a restaurant, karoake rooms, gym and rooftop restaurant. the rooftop restaurant had great food for great prices. it was a romantic dinner with a great view of the city. we would stay there again if staying in phuket town.

I was traveling to phuket town with my colleague. Its good dor overall. Clean room and clean toilet . It was too noisy at night from our neighbor room . Staffs are friendly and helpful even though they are weak in english but they were trying to make us understand what they were actually telling about . Good location with with excellent service. This is the new Poshtel in Phuket town. Close to the old town in phuket where is the most popular place with the historical tourist attraction. The room is clean. The swimming pool is pretty good. Overall was great with valued of money. I would recommend this hotel. tontarn_novio

Dara Hotel was perfect for my needs as it was close to my clinic I was going to, it had all the amenities I could dream of, great big comfortable rooms i could hang out in should i not want to venture out. It is literally accross the street from Central Festival Shopping Center. If ijn Phuket, you'll need a motorbike or car to get around and there is parking at the Hotel. Free wireless internet in Room was nice, and the is also a computer in the lobby as well. The Hotel also had a restaurant with room service. I went during the low season and got a good rate for a Junior Suite room. I don't usually go for suites, but the price was great and I wanted to pamper myself a little bit. Most people will really enjoy staying here. I would stay here again should I have business in phuket town. It is a practical location.

If you want to escape the typical "Thailand Scene" prevalent down in Patong and experience the quieter simpler side of Phuket this is the place to stay. It is in the old "Phuket Town" which is about 30 minutes from the popular tourist beach areas like Patong. The oldest hotel in Phuket Town is almost completely refurbished (a few rooms still being completed it seems). We stayed in a "delux-room" which is spacious and a good mix of clean simple design and modern amenities like LED TV, Mini Fridge (empty) and room-safe. The hotel has no restaurants but this is not a problem as a huge selection of well-established restaurants are within minutes of walking from the hotel. I highly recommend "Suay" and "Rendez-vous" both down the road in front of you as you walk out of the entrance. For breakfast you cant beat the "Gallery cafe by Pinky" straight out again and turn left at the next intersection - a block up on your right-side. If there are to be any slight criticisms of the hotel it would be that the pillows are not very good and the walls are thin so you can hear noises from your neighbours - though not too intrusively. This is not a "party" hotel so in general it is quiet and relaxed. Well-spoken and friendly staff go out of their way to assist. A little gem in the heart of the old town.

I have now been third time at baan Suwantawe. For me it is one of the best accomodation in Phuket Town! The staff is always very friendly and helps You where they can. There is a nice pool, where You can relax while waiting for Your flight or for pickup You for You next trip. Large comfortable rooms with balcony or terrace (groundfloor rooms) and it is just a 3-5 minutes walk to Phuket Town Old Center, where all the old houses where rebuild and where shops and coffee-houses invites You to loose some money. In this Phuket town Old City aerea, You will also find some nightlife. In the old buildings exists now some small bars with live-music. Mostst of guest are Thai people coming with their Mercedes. All very, different to the tourist-areas on Phukets beaches. And all this can be arrived by really small walk from Baan Suwantawe. Only the nice garden-restaurant (lemmon chilli) just opposite the BS give the way to the now called "limelight" shopping mall. I booked already ma way home!

we booked as superior kingbed, but there was only twin bed left. The staff was so nice offering us king bed delux, then we decided to stay more one night. we always try not to stay the same place if we need to ve in Phuket many days. But here we did as special case. We will be back for sure.

Really great stay for amazing value. Room (superior twin) was great, slept really well and the daily cleaning was perfect. The manager was particularly friendly and helpful (arranged a scooter for us with no hassle at all). The location might be a problem for anyone without a scooter, it’s a on a busy road leading into Phuket Town that’s about 10-15 mins on foot. For us with the scooter it was no problem at all though. All in all, it was a great stay and we would definitely return.

Seems it is the best 3-4 star hotel in Phuket Town. It have 19/F and should be the landmark of Phuket Town, so you can find it easily. The breakfast is in 19/F cafe which offer standard breakfast and I really like the city + sea view. The swimming pool + gym is good too. I like the most is that the staff attitude. They will provide good advise and even help me to print my next hotel information (of course free). It does not like other Thailand hotel which the staff is usually lazy.

We stayed at Royal P for 3 nights in a Triple Guest room. The room came with 1 king size bed and a(I would called) king single bed. The room was massive! We could fit another single bed in there if we wanted too. It has a small kitchen with a big refrigerator! It also had an induction cooker plate, with plates and cutlery, a sink and shower room adjacent to the kitchen was big, clean and new. Windows all around kitchen section and a glass sliding door to balcony. We stayed on 6th floor so we had a nice view of Phuket Town and mountains around. There was 24hr reception. Also enough parking space if you have your own car. Oh! They don’t have a room service but there are plenty of local restaurants and convenient stores around. You won’t have a phone set in your room neither. But that didn’t bother us since we all got a mobile phone. We had a rental car so we didn’t know how easy to get a local transportation. But we definitely recommend this place unless you want to be close to the touristy area or next to beaches.

I spent 1 night in Phuket town,and the reason I chose this hotel cos it was close with the bus station. The staffs were very nice,and when I went to the bus station next day,they were very kind to help me and my daughter to go to the bus station. I appreciated

stayed one night before catching the ferry to PhiPhi. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious- had a pool access room. Staff were excellent and helped book me a ferry and transport for the next day. Close to shops and market. Had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this motel if you are staying in Phuket Town. Booked and prepaid through Agoda with nil issues

You can have a very wonderful stay in this hotel! It is located in the suburbs of Phuket town, but that’s why it will be very easy for you to relax your soul! The hotel is very clean and has a very nice swimming pool. All of the staffs are very friendly, especially the boss, who drove us to the shopping mall by himself. In a word, it is more like your foreign “house” rather than a hotel.

The hotel situated in the heart of Phuket Town with full facilities. Parking spaces available for those who drives. The newly renovated Pearl Room is a perfect combination of modern and comfort. The staffs here are always exceptional, always smiling and helpful. The Rooftop Chinese restaurant is a must-try. Well-equipped meeting facilities. Will definitely revisit when in town.

I loved this place. The common areas were exquisitely decorated with a multitude of modernly arranged antiques---just the sort of place in which to spend a lovely cocktail hour with fellow travelers and soak in the atmosphere. Some of the upper floors were still under construction when we arrived, but each of the rooms was decorated in a chic industrial style complete with its very own black and white mural (the murals changed from room to room) and our room had a beautiful view of Phuket Town. The check-in desk is built into the side of an antique car (how cool is that!) and the staff there couldn’t have been nicer. They treated us like family (and spoke excellent English), even letting us use their wifi to book the room through Agoda so we could get the discount. Once we booked our room, we were promptly greeted with a fancy glass of cold juice to welcome us to the hotel. The staff kept the hotel super clean, and in the morning they opened the floor-to-ceiling lobby windows up as we enjoyed a delicious (and free!) continental breakfast next to the canal, breeze on our faces. The location is very central and I would imagine it’s in walking from some good nightlife spots (we were only there one weeknight during low season, so we didn’t get much opportunity to explore that facet of Phuket Town.) There was a charming & affordable five-star restaurant down the road owned and operated by a world-renowned chef…I wish I could remember the name, ask any Expat there (or poss the hotel staff) and they should point you in the right direction. Would definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to Phuket Town.

I spent 3 wonderful nights at O'nya Phuket Hotel. The staffs are so nice. They are really polite and helpful. I booked a Supiror Room. The room was so beautiful, so clean, so big and so perfect! I love the design. (you can see your bed from the seethrough mirror from the bathroom lol) I had a delicious breakfast at The Avenue on my last day. I would love to go there again. If you are looking for a valuable hotel in phuket, O'nya is the one is you looking for. ;) ps. using 'Grab Taxi' is much cheaper than local taxi

I would highly recommend staying at Sino Imperial if you are planning to stay in Phuket Town. I decided to stay in Phuket Town to stay away from the tourist traps in Patong. If you decide to spend time there, a bus stop is very close to this hotel and takes you there in 30 minutes. The hotel itself is centrally located and a lot of very good restaurants and tour companies are within walking distance, room was very clean, no bugs, fast reliable internet, and friendly helpful staff. There is no breakfast served but they do have free bottled water, soda, and instant noodles in the rooms free of charge. Another bonus was the front desk offered me cold medicine when they heard me coughing and sniffling with a cold. Great service! The only thing is the taxis charge 600 Baht each way to and from the airport. I would recommend planning ahead and take the bus (more economical). If your flight arrives late at night (after 6pm?), it will be near impossible to take a minivan or find an economical way to the hotel because most travelers are headed to Patong.

Had such a nice stay at this hostel and would definitely go back there if I return to Phuket Town. The staff was really accommodating, breakfast (coffee, tea, toast, butter, jam and either some eggs, rice dish or vegetables) was good, everything was clean and in a good condition, the pool is small but perfect for a little swim on a hot day in the town and there's also a small common area which is perfect for hanging out at night. You can bring your own stuff and use the kitchen (and a fridge) for free. There's free drinking water the whole day and the lobby is also a kinda common area where people hang out (games and books for free usage) , if you want you can even watch TV. If you want to book a tour there's a booking machine next to the rezeption, the tours are comparatively cheap. You can rent a scooter for 200 baht / day at the hostel as well, I would recommend to do that and drive around the island a bit. In general, Phuket Town is a nice location to stay at.

I stayed only one night in Rommanee Guesthouse to enjoy the old town's life and my choice has turned out to be the greatest. The ladies at guesthouse were very helpful and nice from the beginning to the end of my journey in Phuket town. They even helped me take my luggage upstair and back to downstair. When I asked about the taxi transfer to the airport, a young lady was kind enough to offer to drive me to the bus station for airport shuttle since it was a lot cheaper. I loved the way the lobby and room were decorated and the room was actually clean and well maintained. I would definitely like to go back to this Guesthouse if I had to stay in Phuket town.
