We booked this hotel only for a night between a flight and our next travel. The hotel far exceeded our expectations! We have stayed in many different hotels (including high-end 5+star hotels) and this has been the best value and one of the best in service. We arrived late, and the restaurant was able to prepare a small meal and even cut our fruit plate into heart and flower shapes! It is definitely out of the city, but we were not there for that experience so it was perfect for us. Even for people who want to visit Surat Thani, I would recommend staying here and taking a taxi into the city because it was so nice!

We didn’t want to stay too close to airport , it was our last night of our holiday and we found this place less than 20 mins away! Absolutely beautiful right near the river Staff so sweet and taxi into night market in evening all arranged by them. We were coming from Khao Sok National Park by mini bus and got dropped off at Surat Thani train station then a lovely lady from hotel picked us up. Only about 6 mins drive. We stayed in the studio house right overlooking river and they even through in a free canoe 🛶 which we were brave enough to use, great fun. Lovely swimming pool all to ourselves as out of season so was very quiet here. So peaceful and tranquil sitting on our patio listening to the bird songs at night! Perfect ending to our holiday. Oh and they gave us a lift to Airport in morning too, had to pay but only couple quid. Great for a one night last stay near airport.

The 88 Fine hotel should be called 100% amazing hotel. This place was absolutely gorgeous and costed next to nothing in Canadian dollars (19 per night) ! It was an actual suite, king bed, fast wifi, massive rainfall shower and bathtub, Netflix on the smart tv! It was so comfortable and the staff was so amazing and helpful. He connected with me on whatsapp and anything I needed he helped me out with. He took me in his personal vehicle to town because I had nothing to do. The ONLY downside is the location is a bit far from the city (about 350-500baht taxi/grab) other than that it was the best place I stayed in Thailand and would recommend to absolutely anybody! Loved my stay here and will be back forsure! :)

Best possible value for money for a short stay near the airport! The room is clean and comfortable, food is very good and well-priced and the family is beyond kind and helpful. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful family-run guesthouse!

I can highly recommend the hotel for an overnight stay close to the airport. Staff was extremely friendly, AC room spotlessly clean, quiet and equipped with everything a traveler might need. Best: it's located on top of a small mall (at a highway petrol station) with restaurant, café, ATM and a 24 h supermarket.

If you have an early flight this is the place to stay. The family who run this little hostel is great! Free bottled water on your arrive, free breakfast in the morning and a free ride to the airport. Beds are ok, not the best one but the hostel is clean and there’s also a restaurant next door so you can have a properly Thai meal as well. I’d recommend this place for people who have an early flight, it’s the best option! Also coz the airport would be close during the night so there’s no point to get to town for few hours and back to the airport.

We didn't stay the whole night, just booked a room as a more comfortable wait for a 02:00 night train. Ideal for our needs - clean, comfortable budget accommodation with a private bathroom. 24 hour reception so no hassles checking in and out.

First I would like to say I am very sorry to the owners for the late recommedation. They are the best, and they got a really great family hotel, perfect clean room, bathroom impecablegreat bed, every t We were for 1 month travelling thailand and just 5 days in Chiam Mai. Since we had a rentalcar, we decided not to stay on the busy crouded central parts of the citys we visit.

The place is a 15 min walk from Surat Thani train station and therefore one of the few practical choices when taking an early morning train. The room looked lovely and was very spacious with 3 of us sharing. A little outside kitchen-net, had a microwave, kettle and some basic cutleries. The bathroom, Asian wet-style was functional. With 3/4 of the walls being glass, the place took in much of the street noises. The aircon likewise seemed to struggle to cool the place, though it wasn't very hot as temperatures drop in the evening. Absolutely top, is the hospitality of the folks that run this place, hence the 4th star. Note that there is a night market that sells the typical Thai street food, or if you don't want to risk picking tummy troubles up, you would find a 7/11 shop at about 10-15 min walk away where you can pick up sandwiches, cup of noodles or even. Freezer meal. Note that there are no other restaurant options any where near (or at least non that we found out about).

Our hosts could not have been more kind and welcoming. She really made us feel like a welcomed guest/family. Comfortable private room. A/C and Wifi worked very well. The nearby restaurant that is owned by the host's auntie is some of the best Thai food we had during our month of travel. Highly recommend! Only 2 mins from airport as well :) Can't beat it.

Great hotel: clean, modern and confortable. Friendly owner, breakfast included which is amazing for the price of the hotel. Only drawback is that the place is a bit in the middle of nowhere, so unless you have a car/taxi you are a little stuck there in the evening (we are traveling by bicycle... the hotel offers dinner too though)

The young lady on reception could not have been more helpful printing documents and organizing a taxi to the airport for me . I can recommend this first class establishment to anyone seeking an affordable spotlessly clean hotel . Thank you .

After reading the other reviews I was reluctant to book. We turned up off a train at 2.30am and agoda had messed up the dates of my booking. However the guy on the desk allowed us to stay anyhow and he was very sweet. I'm very happy with this place. Clean towels, water and soap provided, even with a 220baht double room . Two mins walk from the station .

Cheap, clean and close to the airport. $6 taxi ride or a 25 minute walk.... justbdont follow google maps..... leaving the airport at the end of the road make a right, 400 meters look for the 7/11 and gas station. There is no real food in the area other than a food court and 7/11. 7/11 does not sell beer but the hotel does for about $1.25.... food court sucks!

Hotel was the cleanest we've seen seen in Thailand. Basic room but had everything we needed. Owner (Jc) generously drove us to dinner (as there's not much option for food close by) he was cheerful and friendly and made us feel welcome. Free airport pick up and drop off was a really nice addition. We highly recommend this hotel for a stop-over to or from the airport. We stayed here prior to taking the ferry to koh Samui.
