Warm ripoff”

When we arrived nobody was there and the room was quite dirty - but when the owners woke up, they hurried to fix it. After accommodating, we wanted to go get a meal to the village, but the lady offered us a home meal. We accepted and received few fried fish bones and rice - the vegetables and rice was nice, but there was no meat and we thought they shared their last food in the house with us. Then we went to sleep. In the morning, we were offered instant coffee and breakfast which consisted of more meat, vegetables, rice, and fruit. This meal was rich and we were full after this one. The lady was really nice, shared her experience, she did not know English but tried to communicate with us. Very warm and nice. We also received a guest book to write a review and we gladly did so. After that we expected to pay something for the meals. What we did not expect was a bill for 880.000 dong. We consider this a total rip off and would never come again.

Confirm the prices with the owners before you accept food or any additional services”

The owners are very warm and friendly. They picked me up from the bus stop (Bus 79 from Cu Chi & there's another Bus 70) which is about 8km from the house. The lady speaks some mandarin The daughter who speaks English is not there and we communicate via WhatsApp. They offered some fruits, one home cook meal & lend me the bicycle for free, while other offers all carry a price (chicken dish, sightseeing with motorcycle...etc.) After the free home cook meal I decided to eat out in the village, the price & quality really good. Cu Chi tunnel is 9km away. It's like a big park surrounded by woods. Besides the tunnels there're a memorial site, swimming pool & an artificial lake. There's a mosquito net for the bed however the room is full of small insects. Besides an army of ants there are many other creatures that I cannot name them. The small ultraviolet light has minimal impact. When I leave they ask 100k VND for the motorcycle pick up. not super high but better to check before you stay.

Wir wurden nett empfangen. Uns wurden Getränke angeboten und gefragt was wir später essen wollten. Alles machte einen netten und sehr gastfreundlichen Eindruck. Es wurde ein nettes Bild vermittelt, da wir 350.000 dong für eine Nacht bezahlten, erschien Es uns auch nicht ungewöhnlich. Nachdem wir am nä Tag den homestay verlassen wollten, wurde uns eine 600.000 Dong Rechnung vorgelegt. Die sich aus 6 Bier, einem Hühnchen mit Reis und 6 banh mi zusammenstellte. Nach mehreren Stunden Diskussion haben wir letztendlich die Hälfte bezahlt, was im Endeffekt immernoch viel zu viel war. Von daher ist das homestay nicht zu empfehlen. 1. sieht nicht aus wie auf den Bildern 2. der Preis für die Betten mehr als überzogen 3. ohne ein Wort darüber zu verlieren, eine 600.000 dong Rechnung zu servieren, ist nur abzocke! 0/10 Sternen!

第一次嘗試居住當地人的家，其實有點不安 入口有點難找，花費了一些時間，入住後，屋主非常親切與熱心的帶我去了周圍很多地方，都是一般旅行不會看見的事物，在這待了比原本計畫更多的時間，有機會的話，是與hostel不一樣的選擇
