Great value and service ”
I stayed at this property for two nights during my recent traveling in hue city, and it was fantastic. The staff were exceptional in their service . When I stayed there were not much customers at the hotel as it was during week days but all the facilities were available for the customers, such as swimming pools (3 pools and one of which was heated and was ideal for me as it was raining the whole time I was there ), gym, spa, sauna etc. breakfast was not buffet but the variety was really good and we could order anything from their menu in any quantities without any charge. Location is convenient as it’s closer to many tourists attractions and only a 4km taxi ride to the city. Quiet place and overall a fantastic stay!!!!

Super friendly staff, great facilities and good location”
Pros - staff The staff are so kind and friendly and were especially great towards my two tiny children. They were very accommodating with food demands and with adapting seating for us and were very helpful in arranging drivers, excursions and suggesting outings appropriate for our family. Pros - facilities There are 2 large pools available to everyone and we also had a room with a private plunge pool. These are serviced by attentive Life guards, particularly helpful when swimming with tiny toddlers and helped an anxious mummy remain calm. The grounds are delightful and there is an aviary (which my girls loved each day, chatting to the chickens), a sandpit with toys appropriate to small children available and an air conditioned play room that is super clean and has a range of toys including ball pit and slide. Cons - location? For us this wasn't a con as we deliberately chose a hotel that was a little out of the city. This meant that we required a car whenever we left the hotel.

Paradise in Hué”
Our stay here was amazing. The hotel is as good as it looks on the photos. Once you enter, the nature takes over and you feel like you are staying in the middle of the jungle. The room we stayed in was so spacious and beautiful, we got a free upgrade when we got there, which was a great surprise! We also got to know their guest experience manager Claudia, who showed us all the hotel's amenities and joined us for a tour to nearby tombs and a pagoda. The pool is beautiful, the SPA services were exceptional, and the morning buffet staff was wonderful, in short, we loved our stay, and we would love to come back whenever we visit Hué again.

Great resort ”
No complaints. We were upgraded to a pool villa which was nice and private. We don't usually travel and stay at resorts, but we needed a quiet place in Hue to recharge from the extreme hectic nature of this tourist town.

The service is exceptional, the location is a bit far from city center but we choose it because of remote location. Will come back next time

Very impressed with the services provided. The staffs are all very friendly and cheerful. Room turn down services were provided throughout our stay and the small gifts provided in room are so lovely. Thumbs up to the whole team and will definetely recommend this hotel to my friends.

A delightful haven of relaxation”
We stayed at Pilgrimage Village Hue for 3 nights in a Honeymoon Bungalow in late June 2013. We loved every minute of our stay and the only disappointment is that we could not stay longer! The resort has beautifully decorated rooms and gardens, situated within a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. You would never know you are only 10 minutes away from the city centre! Although the resort is quite large, you hardly notice the other guests, except at breakfast time for the wide range of delicious buffet choices. We found all of the resort facilities excellent, including: the resort spa (great massages), the huge swimming pool, the beautiful organic products in each room, the peaceful garden surroundings, dinner at the resort restaurant and the well decorated and comfortable bungalow rooms. The best part of our stay at Pilgrimage Village was the staff! They are all super friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Whenever you walk past a staff member they always (without fail) stop what they are doing to wish you good morning/good evening and provide any assistance. Mai and Tham on the tours desk were an absolute delight to deal with - they arranged everything for us and made us feel very welcomed and cared for. If you are unsure whether to spend the money on a nice resort like this, I cannot persuade you enough that every dollar is worth it!! This is an absolutely wonderful resort and will give you the perfect relaxing and/or romantic holiday that you wish for.

Amazing resort!!!”
During a recent trip to Hue, I had the pleasure of staying at Pilgrimage Village. This place is absolutely incredible! I received a complimentary upgrade to a private bungalow, and was treated like royalty during my stay. The staff is amazing, especially the Operations Manager. Their customer service is top notch. In addition to the room upgrade, I also received a free 30 min foot or scalp massage in their beautiful spa, and participated in a free Tai Chi and yoga class. This resort is absolutely gorgeous! The pool, spa, restaurant, grounds and staff all exceeded my expectations. I was only in Hue for one day and one night, but this resort made me want to stay longer. It is a bit of a distance from the city center (which is the only reason I rated the location 4 ☆, instead of 5), but the facility offers a complimentary shuttle. I highly recommend Pilgrimage Village, and I would definitely stay there again.

Peace and tranquility with a wonderful staff”
we came across pilgrimage village as a result of reading the lonely planet guide. we had a wonderfully quiet and relaxing time. although not in central hue the free shuttle service negates the lack of centrality. the resort complex consists of many rooms and villas spread over quite a large area. the villa was superb: quiet, clean and very comfortable, with a balcony surrounded by shady trees and overlooking a lily-filled lagoon. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the breakfast experience was great. the breakfast-only restaurant is in a lovely location (separate from the main restaurant which caters only for lunch and dinner)with a wide selection of breakfast choices (including noodle soup cooked on the spot by one of the chefs - beware the extra chilli which you can add yourself. yummy but incendiary). we elected to take one of the recommended tours (citadel, tu duc tomb and thien mu pagoda). it was 5 hours well spent - our guide, mr thong, had an excellent command of english, in-depth knowledge of the history of the area and in particular the specific places we visited, and also introduced a lot of cultural and historical aspects of his country that were fascinating, interesting and very informative. we had a wonderful 4 nights at pilgrimage village and would readily return. the only blemishes for us were the frequent absence of staff at the pool to take drink orders (despite the presence of a bar at the shallow end of the pool), and the main restaurant, which was wonderfully laid out but pricey. our guess that this is why there were never very many guests in there - they preferred to take the free shuttle into hue where they could get equivalent or better food and drink but pay considerably less. otherwise scored very high for us.

Beautiful unique quiet hotel accessible to Hue”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pilgrimage Village and highly recommend it to travelers to Hue seeking a relaxing place. It is outside the city center but easily accessible by taxi or the resort's shuttle bus. The grounds are very attractively landscaped and there are two pools, one for children, in addition to billiards and movie rooms and two cafes/lounges. Staff are very friendly and helpful. One caution - if staying in the basic "deluxe" room, be sure to request a unit on the upper floor - upstairs units are uniquely and beautifully designed and appointed, with brick walls, hardwood floors and vaulted ceilings as well as large balconies. Ground floor units are much more plain and could be a hotel anywhere. I booked the deluxe room on Agoda looking at the photo of the upstairs unit and expecting that is what we would get; however on arrival we were given a ground floor unit and were very disappointed. To the hotel's credit they did move us to an upstairs unit, though it took a few minutes of polite negotiation. Everyone at the hotel was unfailingly friendly and polite though, and would smilingly greet our 5 year old son by name every time we walked by. Breakfast was great, extensive buffet and nice space overlooking the lily pond. Overall we highly recommend Pilgrimage Village and would happily return there. Just be sure to get an upstairs room.

Imperial service in the Imperial City”
We booked a traditional Vietnames Pool House, and with it came a panoplia of complimentary services, such as daily massage, daily flower bath, a manicure and pedicure treatment, shuttle to the city 2 times/day and also a personal villa host. Our personal villa host, mrs (Nguyen Thi) Thuy Trang, took very good care of us, made all appointments with the Spa, explained clearly what the tours included (not complimentary) : she was omnipresent but not on a very discrete and professional way. We have dined 3 days in the resort, to our full satisfaction, and we have enjoyed the long pool ànd the private pool in our villa, as we were lucky with the weather. The tours offered by the hotel ( we choose a 4-item tour for 6,5 hours with private driver) was very well composed and value for money as you could spend your time at your own discretion - we didn't take a guide but relied on our own guidebooks. The other day, we took the shuttle and spent some time in Hue on ouwn rythm. We didn't visit all monuments and must-see's, so that we have a good excuse to go back (and we will certainly do it) to this small paradise which is the Pilgrimage Village, where we spent 3 unforgettable days !

Oasis of tranquility”
We had the most amazing stay, which was very much needed after traveling around for a while and staying in different hotels. We booked one of the most expensive accommodations in the resort- Vietnamese pool villa- huge and very comfortable house with a private pool. Such a relaxing and tranquil stay to refresh and regain energy for further journey. Resort staff is second to none, especially Miwa, Assistant Operation Manager, who welcomed us and made us feel like we were part of the resort family! We can‘t thank her enough for everything she did for us! We will miss her sooo much! So if you are lucky enough to meet this girl, you will be treated like royalty. Breakfast is one of the best we have had so far in Vietnam, the food is so fresh and delicious plus theres a huge variety to choose from. Good shutle service from the resort to Hue city. Just a word of advise- DO NOT be tempted to eat outside the resort, the place straight accross the road near the shop- food is terribly overpriced and tastes quite bad- some of our dishes were made with old and stinky meat, the plates were suitable for a baby definatley not an adult!! So your better off going with the resort shuttle to Hue and having a wonderful and plentiful meal, for example at Rose 2, cute little restaurant, which is on the same street where shuttle bus drops you off (absolutely delicious dishes there cooked by a lovely family). Thanks once again to Pilgrimage resort for our wonderful stay!!

pool, spa, room and breakfast”
This wonderful place is a real hideaway. Away from all the noise you can relax at an enormes pool and the spa is also worth the money spend. Breakfast was good, especially the local food. My room was very spacious and upstairs, which I prefer and with balcony. The hotel provides a shuttle-bus to the city of Hue but only 3 times a day, so what I did was to rent a motorbike in the city and I kept it for my time there. You only need then 5 minutes to the city and sightseeing is so much more fun being independent. There is no better place to stay in Hue then Pilgrimage Village.

Fautless! ”
Where to start...? From two years of living in Vietnam and visiting places all over Asia, this hotel was by far the best hotel that we have stayed in. The whole resort was beautifully laid out, and we felt that it was spacious enough to feel uncrowded whilst still having all the amenities within close reach. The room was very large, with a huge bed, and a comfy sofa to relax on. The bathroom was clean and spacious with a bath and shower. Breakfast was served in a large dining room with views overlook the pool. The food was a good-sized buffet, with a great selection of juices. Since it was close to the pool we swam every morning right after breakfast - and pretty much any time we could get to the pool... and what a pool it was! - the only pool I can remember not being able to swim underwater in one breath - it's huge! Staff were wonderful all round, even managing to get my girlfriend a rose on her birthday - a lovely touch indeed! An added benefit are the shuttle busses run to and from hue - which are very handy for getting into town, if you can drag yourself away from the resort. Pilgrimage Village - we'll certainly be back!

Beautiful, peaceful place not far from town ”
This was my second visit to Pilgrimage Village Hue. Serene and peaceful location with beautiful gardens and a great pool. I would visit again. The rooms directly overlooking the pool are great, but their balconies are not very private - if you're planning a romantic getaway, try to get one of the bungalows. High service levels. Good breakfast. Spa services are good and yoga in the morning overlooking the lotus pool is memorable. The hotel is not in Hue and you need to factor in bus/taxi transfers - not expensive, but if you are pressed for time you need to keep this in mind.

One of the most incredible places ever ”
This is one of the most incredible hotels i have ever stayed in. This is surely 5 star luxury at it's finest. From the moment you walk into the Pilgrimage Village you feel special. The staff do their best to make you feel welcome and this was one of the few places where the level of English was of a very high standard. The staff are able to make arrangements and give advise on many aspects of sightseeing Hue, which is a pretty big city and can be intimidating for a first time visitor. The rooms are impeccably furnished, in teak with huge comfortable beds. This is a place to come and do nothing, relax, indulge, have a massage, spa, swim (the pool is out of this world!) The food is of an exceptionally high quality. Can't wait to go back!
