Great value and great stay ”
I had a nice stay at the Ploy Inn, the room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly, the location was great for nightlife and restaurants. My only issue was a bit of late night noise from a live music venue down the road a bit, not the hotels fault. A great stay and would stay again. Trev

NYE”
Good value for money on the island. Absolutely amazing staff. Nice big rooms. Got us in a room early when we showed up at 8 AM after a night bus. Even let us sleep in the lounge room until we got the room. Through a great NYE BBQ for free and we're a tonne of fun.

I liked the room, the WiFi was good, and it’s nearby lots of places to eat. The beach is a short walk away. Only downside is the loud music until 5am at a nearby bar, but it’s bearable if you drink before bed!

Great little Hotel for staying at Lonely Beach”
We stayed for three nights and had a nice stay at this hotel. It's obviously pretty loud at night, but that's to be expected. The room itself was pretty run-down with the bathroom door unhinged at the top, barely holding in place. The bed also wasn't the most comfortable, but manageable. All in all, it's a rather cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. No serious complaints during our stay.

Ok hotel With great location. ”
Great location in the small town. The bars, shops and reastaurants are just outside. You can walk to nature beach in 15 min or 2 min with scooter. The hotel is so cheap, that they dont have any cleaning in rooms. So got New towels when We asked for it. The rooms are Ok, with aircondition. They also have a slow wifi. We liked it her, We will be back.

Private, clean room with good AC and hot water for a reasonable price, can’t complain about that. If you book through Agoda and want another night make sure you confirm the same low price with reception, otherwise they will try to charge you a much higher price. The lady who works the front desk is very helpful but her English is not great, the man that works the desk is very rude and will do nothing to help you. I stayed here four nights and my room was never cleaned despite asking staff. You will need to ask for another towel, toilet paper, soap, etc. Despite these small issues I would stay here again. Good value for money, you can walk to the beach and to the best restaurant Baanmai, and it’s far enough from the main bars that you don’t hear too much noise at night.

Quirky is good?”
A mixed bag. + great value. Less than 500 baht for an air conditioned, clean room ? The lady boss is pretty nice once she warms up to you. Even as a Thai speaker, this took effort. The other staff are not helpful. ? No bottled water in the room. I asked them to fill up my 1 liter bottle and I got strange looks ? If you're on foot, you can't venture up the hill towards the bars with fairy lights. Nasty dogs won't let you pass! ? There's a bar on the street just before the dog situation. The staff are more interested in stuffing their faces than serving you. I won't be back. But that's more of a statement about koh chang in general. It's an overhyped sinking ship in my opinion.

Extremely unclean ”
I booked one night here for 2 people. I usually stay in dormitories during weekend travel but was traveling with a friend and figured it would be better to have our own room. This place was by far the least sanitary place I have ever slept in. It had a terrible moldy smell as soon as you walked in. The curtains had stains on them (of what, I can't even imagine) and the small shelf above the sink had a full pile of dirt or wood chippings on it. Additionally there were cobwebs, the comforter looked dirty, and the wifi hardly worked. Most concerning- a roughly 8 year old boy who seemed to be the son of the woman working at the desk walked INTO our room shortly after our arrival because he had seen we were chewing gum and he wanted to ask for a piece. I had just finished changing so I was completely horrified to have a child (or any stranger for that matter) walk in. I have never before posted a review but people should be warned what they're getting into if they book this place.

Great place to stay”
The Ploy Inn is right in the heart of Lonely beach - just a few mins walk from the restaurants, bars and cafes and about 10 mins walk down to the beach. Our room was a standard room and was great - a large bed, air con, wifi in the room, hot shower etc. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Some rooms I think don't have windows so you may want to check this when you book. The main thing was the noise - not something the hotel can do anything about but the noise and music from the bars was loud till about 3 every night. After a few nights we stopped hearing it though and could sleep through it. However every single night some guests returning from the bars around 3 or 4 were super noisy and because the walls are so thin they kept everyone awake. So def bring earplugs and don't expect to get the best sleep. But would def recommend this place and if/when we go back to Lonely Beach we will probably stay here.

Located at lonely beach, quiet and comfortable environment. Free coffee. A/C in the room. Very clean. 10 mins walk to lonely beach. Easy to find bars and restaurants. The only regret is that there’s no fridge in the room for storing some foods.

The hotel is on good location ”
The hotel is so far from main pier. You will take 1-1:30 hours to there, but it's worth because you can feel the atmosphere during go to the hotel. In part of the room, that's clean and privacy. However; I had to blame about WiFi ! I could connected, but it wasn't working!! I had to use my own internet! 😔
