An unexpected surprise!”
I had been to Lanta many times before and thought that instead of staying on the busy Pra Ae beach I would try someplace inland. Poonsap was amazing and I ended up spending the entire Lanta portion of my trip there. Great swimming pool, lovely clean and comfortable rooms that were serviced every day without asking and the owners and staff could not have been nicer and more helpful! Highly recommended!

A very pleasant stay”
Because of overbooking through Agoda, the manager had to shift us to a different location which was only 3 minutes walking from the main building. But we dint mind at all, because we were upgraded to a superb villa and we dint have to pay any additional money. We loved the villa. Modern. clean, nicely furnished. the Poonsap resort is a bit of a walk from the beach but if you are not a lazy person 15 minutes walking is not much, right?

Peaceful location, worth money”
We stayed at Poonsap 4nights (2 more that we planned to). Location is little apart but we rent a scooter from the resort which you will need anyway if staying in Ko Lanta. Resort has a nice swimming pool, opportunity to laundry and scooter rental. Staff and their kids were very nice and kind. Deffenitly place to stay if you want to have your own space, swimminpool and nice rooms around you.

Would stay again!!”
Pleasantly surprised when we arrived, it's amazing what difference a few extra pounds makes when paying for a hotel. The room was big, clean and the air con was lovely. got a lovely porch/balcony area to relax on. It is a little bit of a walk from the beach but we hired a motorbike from the owners for a reasonable price. They were also building a pool whilst we were there which would make the place pretty much perfect.

Cheap and Cheerful”
We were looking for somewhere really just to put our head at night as we were going to be out all day, so not after anything fancy. The room was good, bed was a little uncomfortable and they didn't replace our toilet paper so had to get that ourselves from the shop, but other than that it was a good stay. It isn't walking distance to the beach but you can hire a scooter for 200baht a day, that can get you to long beach in just under 10 minutes and Klong Khong in about 15-20 minutes. Staff were pleasant and left us alone. I could see a pool area being built so watch this space :)

Clean, comfortable but out the way”
No complaints with room comfort or cleanliness. However, the 'resort' is a little out the way of the beach & main road. Not too far in terms of distance, but it is situated at the end of a quiet dirt track. Not ideal at night, especially for families.

Clean, budget, remote”
It is clean, quiet and spacious. In the morning the air is fresh. As mentioned by previous traveler, it is in a forest (some part are rubber tree field) and about 15 min. walk to beach. In daylight, it's no problem. However, at night, it is difficult because there is no public illumination. The road is dark and uneven. You need a good torch(mine is a small one). It may be solved if you call a taxi. If you are cat-fear, it will be nightmare because a cat will approach and urge you to touch him. On the other hand, if you like cat, that's another story

Beautiful quiet away from busy road”
This place is great, even though agoda map was wrong, it was further inland than we expected, but we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Although we had no transport, the owner came to pick us up from another place nearby that we were staying at and we rented a scooter for 200B, whivh was then easy to get around the island. Beautiful pool and ambient atmosphere.

Clean & spacious rooms, location not ideal”
rooms are faultless, good aircon, working tv, clean & spacious, couldn't ask for more. location wise, it's rather out the way, about a 10 minute walk down a dirt track off the main road, females & families may feel a bit uncomfortable walking back at night. i hired a moped so wasn't really an issue for me.

A little out of the way”
A little further from the beaches than it stated, but there are 2 relatively close by - 1 is 10 min walk & other 20. Probably better to hire motorbike as the roads can get pretty dark at night.

Nice and clean hotel... Still in developing condition area... Too bad is not located on the map... Far from the map it was in agoda... Not recommended for traveler without transport...

disappointment ”
We regretted our booking from the moment we pulled up till we left. The pictures show it nicely furnished, but rooms are bare and were given a large towel as a blanket. The map on Agoda show it being on the beach, but it's on some old dusty road. The owner sits in his office chewing his nasty long fingernails. We were happy to get out of there.

Gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis”
Wir haben ursprünglich 2 Nächte gebucht, aber dann noch eine Nacht verlängert, weil uns das Umfeld gut gefallen hat. Es sind 8 Bungalows und alle Nachbarn sind sehr nett. Es sind überwiegend Gäste aus Schweden und Skandinavien dort, aber jeder spricht gut Englisch. Das Hotel ist ein bisschen abgelegen, kann aber mit einem Roller gut erreicht werden (200/250 bt/Tag). Für das Geld jeder Zeit weiter zu empfehlen. Frühstück war keins mit inbegriffen.

schöne Bungalowanlage mit zuvorkommendem Service”
auch wenn das resort nicht direkt an der hauptmeile liegt, sondern etwas versteckter, sind es wirklich schöne und saubere bungalows. weniger als 10minuten fußweg zur hauptstraße. der nette besitzer kümmerte sich auch sofort um einen motorroller für uns.

由于酒店刷卡机器落后，到店刷了付房费多次不能成功，我告诉老板我的信用卡不能取现金，但是他还是给我办理了银行取现金付房费的手续，至使我们承担了双方银行各付2.5%的手续费，并且还承担借款利息，特提醒大家千万不要选择到店付款的这种方式。

Siisti huone, mutta huono sijainti”
Ensi vuonna hotellilla on jo uima-allas pihassa, jota valmistettiin meidän ollessa siellä. Sijainti on melko huono, itsellämme oli mopo, joten sillä meni näppärästi päätielle. Kävellen muutama sata metriä oikoreittiä. Henkilökunta oli mukava ja auttavainen.
