Excellent all around”
The service in this hotel is excellent and the room is very cozy and clean. My complaints are just the limited breakfast selection and the bell boy said that the snacks and drinks on the table are complimentary, but actually the snacks are not, so we were charged during check out. But the excellent service is great enough so that I don't feel that disappointed

Good place for the money”
First thing: don't let them put you in room 1708 if you get Luxury, or get upgraded to it. It's right below the pool, and you'll hear drainage/plumbing/pool noise 24/7 through the roof. I don't suspect this is an issue on other suites or on other floors. Front desk agents didn't know what it was. they suggested a room transfer, it was NOT construction outdoors. It stopped 2nd night, resumed again after a few hours. Aside from that, it's no more than 5 minutes walking to the beach. Head to Louisiana bar to rent beach chairs for 50k dong each. Room is awesome aside from the noise. Clean, well designed, contemporary. Don't underestimate Nha Trang weather in the summer. Would give this place a 5 star for our stay if it wasn't for the noise.

Surrounded with constructions”
Still fresh room npt completely ruined by "cleaning". Close to the beach. Bit there are about four or five constructions surrounding the property at the moment in addition to the road. Makes balcony useless. Rooftop swimming pool area looks completely neglected. The matrasses are filthy

Good: Great location and not on very busy street. Pretty new facilities. Food is OK. Bad: Restroom has no exhaust systems (somethings look like fans on ceiling but they're not running) and no clothes hangers. The restroom with mirror wall can't cover enough privacy where people can see through the mirror from the bed.

actually we ask to non smoking room. but they gave to us smoking room. they say not available. so after first day they changed room. so we had to terrible first night. smell was really no good. even changed room also was not clean. everything was not good. i never try again that hotel.

We are company trip of 15 persons stayed for 3 nights. Poseidon staff is friendly and helpful, especially one of the staff call Ms Trần Thị Thanh Vân. I very thank to her, she help me arrange airport transfer and local trip to outskirt. She always approach us actively to offer help, driver may not speak fluent english but she help to call me translate and she make sure everything safety with our 2 1/2 days tour in Nha Trang city, Dalat and Miu Ne. I only can say give her 5 star on her professional work. The room relatively big and clean. I will definitely stay here again.

Overall, I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were cleaned very promptly and the hotel staff was always helpful although their English wasn't always the best. Also the hotel has a great location and its a really quick walk to the beach and shops/restaurants. Something to note is that the walls of this hotel is a little on the thin side which can be problematic if there's a loud group of tourists visiting. All the same, the hotel is great.

Great hotel, with some bitterness..”
-Walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. -Great hotel with modern setting, but I think careless cleaning has shown a bit (which is a shame). -Breakfast has so many varieties and good. -Staffs at reception, security, kitchen staffs, even door men are nice and polite, so helpful. But there are some bitterness related to cleaning staffs and staffs at pool area. Cleaning staffs work like they hate the job so much, clean briefly here and there, left so many dirts behind. And after they finished, they just bang the door hard when they walk out (even though the guests are in the room)... WHAT AN ATTITUDE?! Pool area staffs hanging around, smiling/ laughing at guests. No harm in there, but i think guests won't feel comfort about it. Overall, i would recommend this hotel, but the manager need to train some staffs well or it will be a run down for the hotel/ left some bitterness for guests.

Room with construction noise even after midnight”
On Agoda I bought room named "Luxury Sea View" in Poseidon Nha Trang. This name fully misleading. More precise name would be "Room With Midnight Noises from Construction". Those are main problems which we met in Poseidon: (1)There is big construction in progress very nearby the Poseidon hotel. The construction make continuously very strong noise which gets even more intense after midnight. All night long, even on friday and saturday, when we were there. Lying in the bed we had to listen terible noise even through closed windows. Second day we complained on the reception, they offered alternative rooms, but the noise was in all of them. (2) Maybe many years ago there was some "sea view" possible from this Poseidon hotel, but certainly not now. There is number of high buildings standing between Poseidon hotel and the sea. So, no sea view now. (3) And, if you like to have hot shower, then Poseidon hotel is not the place for you. The stream of water from the shower is very very weak

I never write review but have to this time. There are better hotels in Nha Trang that truly meet a 4 star standard. This hotel isn’t one of them. It’s basically a hotel that was built to be a 4 star hotel, but management/maintenance has failed so miserably that both the hotel and its amenities have fallen to a subpar level (think MOLD & BAD SMELL!). Staff were very nice though.
