Oasis in a mundane resort town”
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Prinz Garden Villa although found Hua Hin disappointing. It seemed very artificial. A resort for older Europeans. There are some fascinating places to visit fairly close however. The hotel manager was very helpful indeed.

Excellent value---it has everything.”
This hotel is down a small soi off the main road through Hua Hin in the direction of Takiab. It is exactly as described in other reviews. The staff welcome you with a cool drink, and the check in process is quick. The staff are very friendly and all greet you when they see you. The pool is a good size and very clean with a children's area. The pool is surrounded by a well kept garden. We had a family room on the ground floor which was large with a very comfortable king size bed with extra pillows, a TV with local Thai channels and two English channels including a movie channel, sitting area and coffee table, tea and coffee making facilities, and a safe. The bathroom had abundant hot water. There was also a smaller second bedroom with a single bed with a fan. This room adjoined the main room so it was easy enough for the air-con to reach it and cool it down. The furnishings are basic, in good condition, and comfortable. The breakfast is indeed excellent. There are various breakfast cereals, yoghurt, freshly cooked eggs any style, fresh coffee (capucinno, latte, espresso, etc), bacon, ham etc. There are 2 carparks. We parked in the first one in a large 4 wheel drive. It was a little tight reversing out of it, but we managed. Perhaps the other carpark would have been easier. We had a car so transport was not a problem, but it is only 5 minutes by a baht bus (songtaew) to the centre of town (Green coloured--10B), with a large shopping mall and big food court within walking distance. This hotel is better run and provides more facilities to it's guests than many 4 star hotels that are far more expensive.

We came back !”
We obviously enjoyed our 2-week stay despite the ever present mosquitoes so we came back for a further 3 days after visiting other parts of Thailand ! Ni who spoke pretty good English was always helpful in making arrangements for golf courses and other local visits and since Hua Hin ticked most of our boxes for a winter escape from Europe we plan to return and stay at Prinz Garden Villa again.

Very good place. ”
This was our second visit at Prince Villa. It is hard to find a place where you feel so welcome as here. The whole staff is super-friendly. ❤️ They have a wonderful breakfast and very good lunch too (try the chicken satay). Ok, You can to take a Tuk-Tuk to the clock tower (it is 2,55Km), but You can also walk... :) We think that the beach at Prince Garden (a short walk over the main road) was MUCH nicer than the one att central Hua Hin. Highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly personalised service”
On arrival we were greeted warmly and helpfully by Bla and her reaction to us remained constant throughout our stay. Brio, daytime staff, also was outstanding and the two women felt like our friends. Our room was huge with good storage. The shower/wet room was also spacious but when the shower was turned on a bit of a smell wafted up from the drainage hole. Breakfasts were plentiful and served either buffet style or a la carte depending on the number of guests. The selection was the same. We appreciated having a DVD player plus choice of dvds. The close proximity to Blue Port mall was good but being closer to Hua Hin centre would be better. The swimming pool and gardens were excellent: very clean and well-tended. We felt that all the staff worked really well as a team. We would recommend this hotel for a peaceful break - we stayed for nine nights - no tour groups constantly passing through but personalised service. The owner and her staff care about guests’ comfort.

Thanks for the great boxed breakfast!”
Meen and the rest of the staff were very helpful. Among other things, we had to leave early on the last day and they prepared excellent sandwiches for us (homemade, not the 7/11 variety we got elsewhere). Location is great - you are close to the beach and a green songthaew away from all the attractions. Bathroom could use a paint job but otherwise excellent room. When in Hua Hin don't miss Black Mountain water park, no queing at all (on a Saturday on August!), and they provide free shuttles from the clock tower.

Great hotel ”
This is the best value hotel that we have stayed in, in Hua Hin. It is located within easy walking distance to the bus station and only a short local bus ride (don't use the taxi's use the small green buses) from the town centre and shopping complexes. The hotel has a nice sized swimming pool. I would recommend this hotel. Don't be put by the fact that it is tucked away down an unmade road. Its worth it when you get there.

Slightly disappointed ”
Great food and nice swimming pool. Very old. Safe not functional. One light bulb in bathroom not working. Sewer stench in bathroom. Room was on the ground floor. Friendly and nice staff. There are better options in Hua Hin for the same price. Lots of mosquitoes. Overall the pool was the best thing especially during the hot weather . Very nice restaurant on the main road near the bus station . On the opposite side , there is an ihsan seafood restaurant , don't eat there. Bad choice

Very helpful staff, lovely room.”
My family chose this hotel because it mentioned disabled facilities. I am 87 and need to use a wheelchair or stick. On arrival, I was supposed to be on the second floor and there is no elevator. However, the manageress and staff upgraded me to a family room at no charge. The room was large and beautiful, and on the ground floor right beside the pool. The food, breakfast etc was cheap and tasty and it was relaxing to sit at the pool. Only one thing was that the other rooms, had there been a lift, had lovely big balconies several floors up which I would have preferred one of the second floor as opposed to being lower down. The family room was very dark being surrounded by lush gardens and I prefer a bright room. If there was lift facilities I would certainly come again, but the disabled facilities the hotel mentioned would only have been accurate if booking the expensive family room. Apart from that, no other complaints.

Good location, somewhat clean, mosquitos galore”
For the life of us, I had to do a Mosquito hunt every night before heading off to bed. They would hang out around the door so you had to make sure to shoo then away period to entering and careful when leaving. Although we were careful, since the cleaning crew had to come in, I'm sure they were most of the train for us finding mosquitos every time we came back for the evening. We were in 101, the family room, which was around the corner from the front desk.and across from the pool. They tried their best with Mosquito repellant scents in the room and incense out on the patio. It's wonderfully close to the Hua Hin bus station so if you use Bell travel from the airport and to the airport, you can get to/from the hotel in 5 minutes walking. Probably faster if you don't have am 8 yr old and 9 yr old in tow. Not sure if I would stay there again because I may get a beachfront hotel next time. If not, would hesitate because of the Mosquito issue.

Never again (4th time there)”
My 1st time was awesome. Then I decided to go again a second time. And the 2nd was just ok. So I decide to give a 3rd chance. And less than ok. Finally a 4th time (Yes I was so stupid to try again, I hoped it could have been as beautiful as the 1st time.) And this time made me decide to stop go to this place. Price has exploded. Quality has been less and less. I've booked for a deluxe and got a normal room. No water pressure... Old equipment... Poor wifi. Bye bye prinz garden villa. It's easier to find a better deal.

Very good”
A very nice small hotel. The interior was very cozy throughout the hotel. Staff was very pleasant. We took three nigh more. They fullfilled all of our hopes so we want to send best regards to staff. Only one little harm was voice of train. Enviroment (about 150m along main street to HuaHin) of hotel is cheap local restorant with good local food.

ok ”
We stayed 3 night in Prinz Garden Villa HuaHin, I think the staff is nice and helpful. Small but good swimming pool. A nice breakfast but I think not as good as other comment. Around 10-15 minutes walk to the Market Village (the biggest shopping mall in Hua Hin), a 7-eleven near by, a good budget hotel.

Great stay!”
We booked this hotel based on the excellent ratings and were not disappointed! This is a great little gem! Excellent value for the money. Staff was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. Internet connection was great. Room was very large, clean, and had a wonderful view of the pool which felt like an Oasis. We were in room 201. Ask for this room!! :-) The location is not the best for the beach, its about a 10 minute walk. It is a superb location for the new Bluport mall. Literally half block across the alley to it. Cicada night market is about a 20 minute walk as well. (highly recommend). Breakfast was great too. Small buffet with a short menu of items they prepare for you. Try the pancakes! Different and delicious! Pool area excellent as well. The only negative I had was the bed pillow was very hard for me. They do have softer pillows in the closet. Unfortunately I didn't discover until the next day. Over-all this is a great place. Well kept, clean, and wonderful service. Book it!

Very nice Hotel, secretly hidden away from the main street”
We, a couple, 2 youngsters and 2 kids, had a very pleasant stay at this pearl away from the main street. The kids pool was great fun and the larger pool just right for them to try swimming for the first time. The hotel isn't too large, but i guess when full, there might be not enough space left at the pool to relax, but not sure about this. Anyway we were there at quiet season, only few guests. Could park the car inside the hotel area at no extra cost. Breakfast was good to very good. Not oversized buffet, but i think as far as i saw everyone including other guests were full and ready to start the day afterwards. I took a look at the beach (walk to the main street for about 100m, then cross it and walk another 100m), which was almost deserted and did not look to nice. It was way too hot there anyway and the seawater looked dirty brown-green'ish. We had a nice enjoyable stay and would go there again. When asking they told us many things, were to go, what to do, and so on. But for the kids the nearby big water park was amazing. Enjoy your stay at this small very nice and friendly hotel :-)

Loved our stay!”
We stayed in the 2-bedroom apartment at this lovely hotel. It was a very enjoyable time - the pool was clean, the hotel is in a very convenient location, and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again! The room was very spacious and didn't smell smoky. Breakfast was delicious - lots of options. Only downside is that there's no elevator.
