The room was big with bathroom inside. It was after renovation but because of hight humidity the paint is wavy on the walls. Everything ok, big windows.

Does the job”
If you want a cheap room to sleep, then this place does the job, but it’s not luxury by any means. The room was quite spacious, and has a few amenities such as a kettle, which was nice, but the bed was pretty uncomfortable - lumpy mattress and the sheets felt weirdly damp. As for staff.. don’t really expect to see them, and, if you do see them, don’t expect them to acknowledge you. The woman who checked us in seemed pretty affronted when we showed up, so don’t expect a warm welcome, but if this doesn’t bother you then it’s a fine place to stay for a night or two and is in a good location.

Budget hostel”
This hostel is very near to cable car station and sapa church, if you are a budget traveller, not a bad choice, but the staff cant speak English but i manage to communicate with her with google translator. You paid what you get, no lifts, no breakfast, but I am ok with all these because the price very low. Overall is pleasant stay.

Cheap but quite far from the downtown”
This hotel is quite cheap but actually the location is to far from the downtown area, which is around Sa Pa Lake area. The staff could not speak English, only the owner can speak English, but he only come to the hotel sometime or when the staff need a help. This hotel looks like old and not really clean at all.

It was cheap but note the room had no towel and no hot water and there were bugs. The street is not paved and under construction.

No persons for the hotel. Now a massage on the ground-floor. After we asked by mail for something we saw a man and he helped us.

Misleading photos”
The staff are good. The manager who attended to us when we requested for a room change was efficient. The room we were first assigned was NOT livable. The second & third room we stayed in had poor beds. Overall, water pressure was very poor. It was difficult to have a proper shower (November) under chilly weather as there's no heating in the rooms. The ground floor of the hotel houses a massage parlor. We were there for a week. No room service at all. We had to request for the basic necessities (toilet rolls etc). And the rooms do not have "mountain view"!

Very dirty place. ”
Only one positive thing is the location. Apart from that I would recommend to avoid this place. Room was dirty (not cleaned after previous guests). In the bathroom were still wet towels after the previous guests. Long black hair on the bathroom floor. Unflushed number two in the toilet. Towels that supposed to be for us were washed but full of brown stains. Bed sheets washed but full of brown stains as well. Mould on the walls. Falling apart furniture. Very uncomfortable bed. No heating so don't even try to sleep there in the winter. We've survived one night in the hotel when temperature outside dropped to 2 degrees Celsius and moved out next day. Staff doesn't speak English. Avoid.

Woman at the reception impolite, room is cheap”
If you want to have a warm welcoming, don’t go there. The woman is sooooo impolite: no “hello”, not even one effort to communicate with me (I’ve used Google Translate) and she even screamed at me in Vietnamese. However, the room is correct for the price.

The only good thing about this place is location. The downsides: - cockroaches in the room. Ipad cable has been eaten by one of them. - tap was leaking everywhere, no chance to use it - TV was just an old type which did not work at all - strong mold smell - staff communication close to 0 due to lack in english skills. Most of the time nobody of them was there. - no way to close windows! they were open all the time! We moved out to another place, and was so much better.

I did not even want to sleep in the room here. The room was mouldy and smelled very bad from the dampness. The blankets and matress were wet and full of mould.

Do not come to pumpkin hotel!!!! ”
We came at 2 am, 12 hours after check in time. The room wasn't ready. When they told us to come in, the room was very dirty and the sheets was with stains. We ask for another clean sheets, the owner came with underwear and started to yell and curse. When my girlfriend tried to show him the stains he raise his hand and almost hit her. The other employees asked me to come down and said they sorry and that the owner is crazy. We went right away. Do Not Go To This "Hotel"!

Very dirty and smelly sheets. I cleaned the toilet as soon as I arrived. No heating equipment and very cold room. No free water. The worst staff. I really recommend staying elsewhere.

Location is good. There is no receptionist or anyone else to ask for help/assistance. Room was not clean when check-in. Towel is so small, can only cover face. Hair dryer not provided even though it was stated to be provided. Toilet is much smaller for the price of room.

Pumpkin SaPa hotel stay”
1. Pleasant and restful stay. The host was helpful. Since Pumpkin SaPa is situated at a street behind the main street it is quiet since there is no traffic. Cat Cat village is just 2 km. down a winding mountain road from the hotel. All the restaurants and town attractions are within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay at Pumpkin hotel. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and spacious. Wi fi in the rooms. Next time in Sapa we stay here.
