I stayed on one of the upper floors and the view of the bay was just spectacular and the balcony very nice! Very nice and welcoming staff, the room was fine as well.

Great location and good view ”
The location is very good as you can walk to the 3 beaches easily and the hotel is on the main strip of restaurants opposite the harbour. The room was spacious with a balcony and the aircon worked well . Unfortunately for us , the beds were rock hard and it was painful to sleep , and we paid for a room that included breakfast , we went down to breakfast on the first day and there was one choice and that was some soup with a mixture of both seafood and chicken and 2 fruits , on the second and third day , the restaurant was empty and no one there and no breakfast available , we were not notified prior. we ended up paying for breakfast in a hotel next door. The mini bar fridge did not work in our room and the restaurant and bar was not open for the entire 3 days we were there , so we had to drink warm water for 3 days on top of not being able to sleep because of the rock hard beds . The staff were hard to find but were very nice when they were around. Checking out we had to go and look for someone to pay the bill. Nice people, nice view but waking up every half hour because it was painful to sleep on such a hard bed spoilt the trip for us as we are constantly tired for 3 days Maybe this hotel is more for Vietnamese people who are used to very hard sleeping surfaces but for us in our 50’s it was not good and not being able to have a cold water In such humid conditions or get Ice from anywhere didn’t feel like a vacation

The rooms were big and clean. Comfortable bed and friendly staff. Oasis 2, the restaurant next door is cheap and offer cheaper laundry service than the hotel by more than half. The booking agency at Oasis 2 is extremely helpful with staff than speaks really good english. The hotel is on the main strip and has a great view. Its just on the outskirts so its a quiet spot and everything is within walking distance.

While the property is relatively clean, it leaves much to be desired. The lobby and common areas are void of character, as are the rooms. The room was noisy and carried sounds from the outside. We were bothered by the sound of the water pump, sidewalk work across the street, and rowdy guests. Construction is cheap. While the hotel is in good condition now, it will deteriorate rapidly. I would not stay here again.

The worst experience in my life, hotel no provide breakfast and you pay for that, I stayed 3 night and they never clean the room, the staff is not friendly and do not understand customer services. Please do not visit this hotel.

Great hotel and location”
Loved the staff at this hotel as they were all really friendly especially Sing (she works on reception and hopefully I spelt her name correctly). The hotel is relatively new and as such didn’t seem to have many reviews so we choose to stay for three days then we extended for another three after we realised how nice it was. The hotel is at the edge of a tacky strip of hotels in Cat Ba town but this end is much nicer and nearer the beaches as well as being a short walk to everywhere else. We choose a balcony room on the top floor (7th) which had fantastic views over the bay and nearby islands. We would stay as this hotel again and would have no problems recommending it.

It is located on the main street of Cat Ba. It is only 10 minutes walk from bus and ferry terminals. It is close to the beach as well as some good restaurants. Breakfast is simple but good. Hotel is new. Staff are polite. However, we could not contact receptionist through the phone. When we needed something we had to go down to reception.

Great hotel, extremely friendly staff ”
Everything was pretty much perfect minus a few things, the location is a little far down the road (but still a very good location), hot water didn't work the first night (staff quickly fixed it) and our room was a little unclean the first night. The price point is also much higher than other places in cat ba, but everything else is very very good, staff were extraordinarily friendly.

I have mixed feeling after the stay....”
We spend two night in this property, excellent staff, big room (superior was reserved) with outstanding bay view, smooth check-in, late check out without any additional charge, but....... property is brand new, but our room equipped with poor quality furnitures (located at the sixth floor) looks like room in the hotel at least 5-years old. We come away with the impression that property has been finished with the cheapest materials and furnitures. Moreover our balcony was connected with two other room ( basically there was one balcony for three rooms), which was not comfortable for us. Doors to the room were leaky, at night you can see the light from the corridor and hear all noises from outside. The hotel itself as well as rooms aren’t cozy at all, cold, simple, brand new, but used. For breakfast fast we have a choice of one set out of three.

Nice clean hotel with a magnificent view”
The view from our sea view balcony was breathtaking the hotel staff were wonderful the hotel is kept immaculate. The only downside is the breakfast was dreadful coffee was cold and wasn’t rectified when told about it and fridge in room didn’t work apart from that was great. I would stay again just eat breakfast elsewhere.

Great hotel & staff however breakfast was limited ”
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and had a balcony room on the top floor with great views over the bay. The staff were really helpful and courteous however the breakfast was a bit limited and we would have preferred a buffet style with a greater choice of foods. That said we had a great time and would definitely use this hotel again.

The room was top notch! Comfy bed and the best shower I've had in Vietnam! Location was close to everything and the view was the best we have had yet! Staff were very friendly and it was well priced for the value of the room.

OK choice”
We stayed here 2 nights in a top floor room overlooking the bay. This a new hotel with lArge characterless rooms, clean, with great staff. Problems included barely hot water and loud music noise at night from floating clubs opposite. Breakfast acceptable. Good sunset views but Cannon fort even better!

Clean, large rooms, great view”
Located close to the end of the main strip, we had a seaview twin room. It had 2 queen beds with a good size bathroom and great sea views. Breakfast was adequate, with eggs cooked to your liking, with many restaurants close by.
