Superb in Every Way”
The Rachamankha Hotel is as close to perfection as I can imagine. Its setting is tranquil despite being within the busy Old City, and is beautifully designed and maintained. The registration and restaurant staff are exceedingly helpful and communicate easily in English. I loved the pool, spa and library, and gourmet meals most. This is my new "home away from home" in Chiang Mai, and I will be returning each time I am in the area. Jeanne from the United States

One of the most elegant and stylish hotels in Chiang Mai in every respect.”
My second time staying here. The hotel was well maintained and spotless as before. Breakfast is now a la carte, that is much better than used to be, Buffet. I had a noise problem caused by the next door guests talking loud, TV noise, moving furniture around etc early in the morning. The reception staff apologised and moved me to another room straight away. I will definitely stay there again for my next visit to CM.

Soothing elegance”
The hotel provides a haven with a garden and its court yards. Every detail has been considered in the beautiful and elegant design of the buildings and their interiors. We felt welcomed by the staff who are like a family and at home. I recommend visiting the beautiful library with its collection of design books and the space to think.

One of the most elegant hotels”
One of the most elegant hotels I have visited in terms of volumes and space. It is built with many outdoors indoor courts with high ceilings which creates a perfect space for serenity and meditation. The pool space is also beautiful, but there was sound coming from an engine nearby that needs to be silenced. Also the massage was rather average.

This must be the nicest hotel in Chiang Mai old city”
This was an extremely luxurious and delightful hotel inside the Old City of Chiang Mai. Beautiful buildings lile an extensive manor house, with cool interiors and a large verandah seating area. Excellent restaurant with indoor and outside dining (with a roaring fire in the morning). The staff were all kindly and (behind their mask) smiling. An oasis of calm in a busy city

Tranquility and oasis of Zen”
Beautiful hotel. Not over the top. Staff exceptionally polite. The architecture is very well designed and exudes calm and tranquillity. Interiors well done in understated elegance, not flashy. Antiques galore! The breakfast, no doubt, not many choices but the selections are good. Must try the noodle soup. Looks spicy but actually more tomatoes than chilli! The cutlery and plates all ' a set' in willow pattern. Exquisite! The dinner service, food included is fabulous. There's a lone musician playing traditional music during dinner. Do consider dinning here. Don't be intimidated by the setting, starch table cloth, silverware, live music and antiques. The prices are reasonable and food delicious There's even a library. And well stocked with good books. This is a small hotel. I stayed for 4 days and rarely met more than 4 other hotel guests. All friendly. Not the usual crowds you encounter. I definitely will come back here. The location in the inner city is convenient

great place in Chaing Mai”
We spent some time in this fabulous hotel 10 years ago, and just had a chance to go back. It was all the good things we remembered. Beautiful architecture, nice rooms, great staff, good food and drink, and in a nice part of the old city. We recommend this hotel highly.

Exceptional”
Best hotel in Chiangmai. Everything’s perfect. Breakfast is best 10/10 both food & good vibe. Perfect parking. Room No.28 opposite library is very beautiful as seen in The World of Interior magazine’s cover. Dreamy luxury & cozy. Staffs 10/10 very helpful. Great location for exploring old town.

Beautiful place”
We love this hotel. We had Christmas dinner here a couple of years ago, and decided to visit and stay there in July 2020. Chiang Mai seems to have been hit badly by the absence of tourists, and we were possibly the only guests there. Every aspect of the hotel was exquisite.

Fantastic!”
Impeccably designed and decorated. Everything is beautifully presented from lobby, courtyards, rooms, beds, bathrooms, pool, restaurant, library, gallery - really everything. On top of that, top notch food at every meal, beautiful table settings, and fantastic service.

Peaceful and relaxing ”
Beautiful architecture, lovely design details, flowers and trees in the courtyards. Tranquility (we liked the no-kids Policy ), faint sound of classical music. We hardly ever use the pool where we stay but here a dip and lounging became a daily late-afternoon ritual. We hope to be back.

Happy every time we returned”
We were travelling with our parents and 14 year old, so took a 2 bedroom suite. The location of the hotel was excellent - within a few minutes walk to SP Chicken and the Sunday Market, and also walkable to the City Park and the Saturday market. Breakfast was excellent, especially the local options, and service was also very good. They did what they could to asssist us, from our early check in (we arrived in Chiang Mai and 11am) to a late check out. There's also a free shuttle to and from Central Festival Mall, but otherwise, Grab or taxis are not expensive, especially given the size of our group! Would definitely recommend staying here if you would like to stay in the Old City, yet enjoy the exclusivity and solitude of a high end hotel.

Superior room offers all the essential at its most convenient, love the mattress and pillow. Bathroom is very nice but the glass panel at the bath tub can’t really block the showering water - can be quite messy there. The hotel is kept perfect in all area. Dinner and breakfast is great. Definitely will return

Our 6th Stay At Rachamankha”
Our go to place in Chiang Mai. Elegant grounds and peace and quiet. Only 25 rooms. After a 4 night stay at a 5 star resort in Krabi, one understands the loss of peace and serenity with a resort full of screaming kids. Rachamankha caters to guests 12 yrs. + only. Not a young family stay. Ah!! The peace and quiet!!

Calm oasis ”
Beautifully designed tranquil retreat close to the heart of Old Town we rarely ventured far from the pool. The staff were great, the layout and decoration of each public space was superbly put together and the food was also good. Would stay again.
