Perfect!”

Absolutely Wonderful! There were so many things about this hotel that we were unprepared for but every single one of those things made the stay there even better. 1. It's not on Koh Maak. It is on Koh Rayang, and it is the only hotel on this tiny perfect island with white sand beaches, crystal clear water and great snorkeling. 2. There is power from 6pm to midnight. This is surprising at first when you want to get on Facebook and brag to everyone about the beautiful place that you found. . .. but the lack of distraction it makes you enjoy your surroundings all the more. The food here is delicious. The beach is the nicest I visited in Thailand. You can snorkel, kayak, swim and take a boat into Koh Maak if you needed supplies. The accommodations are simple and more like glamping and staying at a resort. It is by far one of the most special places I have stayed anywhere in the world. I loved it and would recommend it to families, honeymooners, or anyone looking to truly get away.

Location is extraordinary ”

Stay on this resort if you want to relax. The location and the beautiful island is one of the best places in Thailand. Healthy corals just next to the beach if you want to snorkeling. The staff makes you feel like one in the family. Private island just for the resort, no other people are allowed to enter it, and with that few bungalows at the resort it feels like you have all this for your self.

Paradise, just paradise”

This is probly the most beutiful and relaxing island I`ve been to. This resort is the only at this island. No AC or internet connection, power just over night for fans. Totally relaxing and a beach white as snow. Crystal clear water, diving and snorkeling in corals just aside the beach. Quiet. Nothing for the people that cant relax, ther are nothing to do at this island then just relaxing. This is my favorite place in the world for relaxing, and I`ve been around pretty much

Best beach! Friendly staff and good food. Perfect place to disconnect from the world as there is not much to do and the wifi is just in the restaurant area and not too strong. The only resort in the little island so the beach is mainly deserted.just a few kayakers visiting but must be gone by 4. Electricity only available from 6pm to midnight. No hot water in the shower but not really needed. Bring mosquito repelent.

Out of all the beach hotels/resorts in Thailand this is the place I would go back to in a second. There is no internet, and power only between 6pm and midnight but it is the perfect location for getting away from it all. My kids loved it and spent all day swimming, snorkeling and playing with the great dogs that live on the islands.

AMAZING”

we had such an amazing stay at this resort; I would definitely return! the room was fresh and clean. simple, everything you need. it is such a magnificent beach, and by staying on the resort you are able to feel like it is your home for a few days. the staff are friendly and helpful; it is small and feels like a family. there isn't a lot to "do" here, but that is the best part! relaxing on the beach, sunshine, reading books, and delicious food are all you need. we also enjoyed swimming and shell searching-- the best beach I have been to yet!

Incredible privacy on tiny Island Oasis”

The owners were kind, as was all their small crew of staff. They had the utmost appreciation and respect for the private aspect of their tiny island. This is why you choose to stay there, and although for a few hours a day there was an allowance for daytrippers, these were contained to the beach and the restaurant, limited in number, and seemingly screened to ensure that they weren't disruptive. I saw the owner turn away 2 boats (8 potential paying daytrippers) of boisterous farang, saying afterward, "you pay to stay here, how could I allow your experience yo be disturbed for 100 baht a head daytrippers?" The food is simple, but home cooked and delicious. Curries, rice and noodle dishes, fresh fruit and fresh fish (you can watch them kayak out to buy shrimp and squid from passing fishing boats). The only potential caution is that they have 3 (gentle and playful) dogs, two labs and one mutt. We love dogs, but could see how this might be a problem for someone who didn't. All in all, a paradise all alone in the ocean - we hope to return again someday.

Nice little resort on a small and wonderful island”

We spent four wonderfuk days at this lovely little island resort. It was like heaven on earth: a white beach, blue water with lots of little fishes inside, great food and lovely people.

Great location”

Relaxing. Very clean beach & caring staff; want to make sure you're happy all the time. Resident dogs are fun to have around & friendly. Staff didn't follow through with our speedboat pickup & we were left behind. We had to take a boat 3 hours later & go back to Koh Mak to do it & it was also a cheaper boat so we overpaid by 200baht & no one would refund us. It was very disappointing to have time & money wasted. Daytrippers should be limited to 12-5 instead of 10-4. We would've had a peaceful quiet morning alone after 7 people checked out, but we got invaded by a Russian tour group at 10am who quickly & completely took control of everything.

Peaceful and Beautiful”

The staff are great, the beach is beautiful and the views gorgeous. The accommodation is quite rustic, but perfectly comfortable. The food was not really on par with the food available on nearby islands, but then resources are limited. I'd stay here again.

Poor hotel for the price. Not worth it”

Coming here to be out of crowds, from 10 to 16 you will have more people than in ko mak budget beach, ironic. At night you sleep hearing the generator. For that price poor room without hot Water, and you are not even in a paradise price for the price Some say here you feel like Robinson crusoe ???? It's like a budget place without confort 10 times the price. You don't even get mask or kayak for free. Don't come here i was more solitude in ko kood with more beautiful beaches and better service. Don't come.

Preis-Leistung bestimmt die einsame Insel. Ansonsten wäre es viel zu teuer für das Bungalow. Schöner kleiner weißer Strand. Schnorcheln ist möglich. Kommt halt darauf an, was man schon alles von der Unterwasserwelt gesehen hat. Wenn man mit ein paar bunten Fischen und ein paar Steinen zufrieden ist, kann man schnorcheln gehen. Das Wasser ist zumindest schön klar. Zimmer und Betten sind sauber. Moskitonetz gut und frisch. Bad ok. Rundrum sehr gepflegt. Wir sind Backpacker und für unsere Verhältnisse aber absolut ok. Sehr nettes Personal. Ganz freundlich. Lokal sehr schön. Sauber. Essen sehr lecker. Kleine Anmerkung an das Hotel. Beim Frühstück ist eine! kleine Tasse Kaffee dabei, den man sich selber aufbrühen kann. Jeder weitere Tasse wird berechnet. Das fanden wir übertrieben. Ansonsten haben wir die 3 Tage Ruhe absolut genossen. Um ein Feeling von einer einsamen Insel zu haben, Rayang Phurin Resort buchen.
