The warmest hospitality ever”
We had the best time and the warmest welcome we have ever experienced. My children felt like home walking, playing, kayaking, rope swinging etc. Genta and Jack made us feel very comfort, very at ease, and very sincerely nice. The atmosphere is very peaceful and great overlooking the beach. Super closed to the beach. Food is delicious. My son had Pasta every meals during our stay. It is an Italien receipt. Staffs are happy to go out of their way to get things done for guests. I am very impressed. We felt sad the time we left since it had been an extraordinary trip for all of us. We are sure that we will make a return very soon.

Just a paradise”
Actually we booked only here 6 nights then we changed our plan to go to Koh lipe for 3 nights. And it was our huge mistake to give up 3 nights in this paradise. The room was clean and simply designed and people there were really helpful. The beach is super great and they have a natural shade from the trees. Yeah, there were many mosquitoes(sandflies too) but I think it's common in an Island. So we brought our electronic mosquito killer actually we bring it everytime when we go to Thailand tho. So be ready for some bugs then you can enjoy the beauty of nature! This place is amazing and we'll be back!

Exceptional”
We loved our stay at Reef Resort and after seeing all the accommodation on the island, were very happy we chose this one. The breakfast buffet was great (amazingly delicious pancakes!), comfortable beds, and super friendly and helpful staff. The setting was also extremely relaxing, with plenty of places to relax right in front of a gorgeous view of the beach and refreshing pool to take a dip in as well. We loved how close the room was to the beach so going back and forth was very easy (especially helpful when our baby needed to take naps in the room). We had really good lunches here every day but there are also other good restaurants nearby if you want to change your setting. We loved our stay and for sure would recommend it to anyone traveling to the Trang islands!

We had 3 amazing nights at the reef resort. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The Thai food is lovely and the location couldn’t be better. We made use of the kayaks and enjoyed the snorkeling. Reef resort is located in the middle of the beach so you have other options for food in the evening. They can also arrange your transfers and boat trips. Would highly recommend!

A bit overpriced hotel in amazing location”
The hotel is located right on the beach in Koh Kradan island. The location is perfect - you can hear the ocean from your room. Right in front there is a fantastic coral reef - all alive with plenty of corals and fish. A lot of people do snorkeling there, hotels provides free masks and tubes (no fins :( ) - and also free kayaks. Breakfast is buffet and was pretty nice, fruit selection is poor (only watermelon which could be better on a tropical island). Staff is really nice and responsive, we checked in early, our room was ready. We arrived in the middle of breakfast and staff offered us a cup of coffee and snacks which was really nice of them. The room was nice, the highlight was the shower which is individual for each room and doesn't have roof - so you can take a shower watching night skies. No insects in the shower / bathroom even though it is in an open air area. The downside was the absence of water in the shower - out of 2 days of our stay we didn't have hot water 1 day and no water next morning. At times the water was coming rusty. Staff tried their best to help to solve this problem but it seems that the water supply equipment has a big issue. Swimming pool had a nice blue color right when we arrived but later it turned green (probably due to rusty water) so we didn't even try to swim there. This wasn't much of a disappointment though - we did a lot of swimming and snorkeling in different areas of Koh Kradan. Attention TV lovers: there is no TV in the room (again, minor issue on such a beautiful island). Sunset beach is 15 mins walk from the hotel on the west side of Koh Kradan - we saw a terrific sunset there. Keep in mind that you will stay in a small island - no grocery stores (no 7/11), no pharmacy / hospital, so bring everything you need with you. Walking outside of the hotel to the left there is a nice restaurant with good food and big servings. To the right of Reef Resort there are a few hotels, one of them - Anantra - offers nice lunch buffet

Reef Resort is located by a very nice beach where snorkelling is possible. The facility is relatively new, well maintained, has a restaurant area right on the sand and a nice and special bar and reception. They also have a pool, a nice garden and a small mini market . The breakfast is a bit limited, but OK. The selection in the restaurant is also limited, but the food is good. There are also several neighboring restaurants that have a good selection. The rooms are well equipped, Good AC and ceiling fan, the bed is very comfortable. Bath and shower are small and special with shower cubicle under open air and it was a bit difficult to adjust the hot water. There is a small balcony area outside each room with chairs and table and there are plenty of sun beds. The staff is helpful, pleasant and attentive and communicates well in English.The rooms are a bit overpriced, but overall the price level at Koh Kradan is somewhat high. We can highly recommend Reef Resort for a stay

A memory for life”
Hidden on a true paradise island The Reef Resort was a wonderful place that we would love to come back to. Kradan is an island most people just do a short lunch break on during the day the popular island tours. During the evenings the island goes quiet and amazingly relaxing. The staff was great and we have never felt so welcome before. The resort manager is Italian and speaks many different languages. No worries about miscommunication there which is great at a remote location like this. The resort is located north of the big Sevenseas resort. We were about to book our stay there before discovering The Reef Resort and afterwards we are so happy we choose Reef instead. Being a paradise island, we spent our days by walking around on the beaches. A short walk to the south we could find excellent snorkeling spots (beginning just outside the National Park office) where the reef is easily accessible. Reef does not have its own restaurant yet, only a bar that serves breakfast and snacks but the snacks included things like tuna and club sandwiches so one can still get something to eat there.
