Amenities: swimming pool is open until 9pm; bar near the pool is likewise open; entitled to free bottles of water in the room; you may also request for a bucket of ice; easy to get a wrist band to enjoy the amenities of the resort & towel; no long queue; very organized; Entertainment: lobby lounge provided Bossa Nova/standard music from live band; fire show by the poolside at 6pm was awesome; water sports quite expensive; we contacted a smaller resort to arrange our island hopping - which cost us P1,400/pax inclusive of snorkeling gear, food (pork & shrimp bbque, grilled fresh local fish, rice, fruits, soda, water), tour guides, boat, floating vest/jacket. Facilities: very new 5-star hotel; clean & spacious; booking the deluxe ocean room was truly worth it; you can just lie on the bed & look at the clear blue waters of the pool & the ocean; we booked rooms 709 & 710. on the 2nd night, i was able to watch the fire dance from my room's balcony. THe hotel provides free shuttle service in the a.m. & afternoon to & from Cebu City (SM & Ayala Malls). On our last day, we went by shuttle to SM & bought our pasalubongs (dried fish & squid). Near SM is CNT resto where you can get Cebu lechon. They can pack your lechon orders in a small box, ready for transport by plane. But be ready for a queue for this much-touted Cebu lechon. Taxi driver also recommended Rico's lechon Cebu.

I have always look forward to stay in Shangrila Mactan as it is one of the most beautiful hotel because of two reasons 1) The marine park is one of the best that i have visited and you need not go far to see coral fishes - parrot fish, pike fish, clown fish, mullet, angel fish, squid and schools of fish as though you are diving. 2) The Filipino service level again never fails - prompt efficient service request - no nonsense or reasons to be given...they just aim to please. Anything that they cannot provide is done with a sympathetic 'I wish I could do it' the only set back is you need to pay for the extras which makes it one of the very pricey hotels in Cebu. But the worse is not Shangrila Mactacn but AGODA THAT CANCELED MY ROOM AND WHEN I REQUESTED TO REINSTATE THE ROOM I HAD TO DO 3 REMINDERS AND THERE WAS JUST A CURT REPLY - WE HAVE DONE IT AFTER I LEFT THE HOTEL THE NEXT DAY. THE SERVICE LEVEL BY AGODA IS ATROCIOUS AND I AM THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMER RANKING WITH 75000 POINTS TO BE KNOWN AS THEIR 'PREMIER CUSTOMER' - BUT I DONT FEEL LIKE ONE!!! AGODA FAILED - NO APOLOGY AT ALL FROM THEM!

We chose Crimson Resort and Spa over other hotels in Cebu due to a deal on Agoda that gave us a 50% discount on a Deluxe Garden room. Upon arriving, we were delighted with the lovely room and the generously sized infinity pool, not to mention the excellent breakfast and lunch buffets. We were disappointed, however, to discover that the resort was hosting a private function on the beach during the same weekend, which made for a disturbing amount of noise and left the hotel guests no place to enjoy the sun apart from around the pool area, making it considerably more crowded. Luckily, we contacted Lilibeth, the Guest Relations Manager, to find out what the resort could do to make our stay more pleasant, and their response was above and beyond our expectations. They immediately upgraded us to a larger villa situated farther away from the event and the noise, and also sent over a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit platter to apologise for the inconvenience. They even decorated our stunning four-poster bed with petals and a swan/heart ornament crafted out of towels, which made for a fun photo opportunity. Ricky from Guest Relations also followed up with a phone call the next day to see if there was anything else the resort could do to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. My partner and I ended up having a wonderful weekend and we will definitely consider Crimson again for our next Cebu trip. We highly recommend the resort for its exemplary customer service, which extends from Lilibeth, the manager, all the way to the helpful attendant at the gym, to the friendly pool staff, to the smiling therapists at the spa.

Deluxe double sea facing room was clean and airy with a functional though small bath. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I had in my time in the Phillipines, beautiful. Prices on the high side for Cebu, £6 for a mango smoothie but it was delicious. As in other parts of Cebu, service very polite and pleasant but also very slow, 35 minutes for a drink and salad at lunch and although I was offered coffee at breakfast it never came leaving me to locate the machine myself and eventually work out how to get a coffee out of it - nice coffee though. We dined by the pool in the evening as the restaurant was cold and canteen atmosphere. My chicken was good ( huge portions, where's a starving dog when you want one) and my husband had the steak burger which he enjoyed. In the night he became very unwell with diarrhoea and sadly was unable to accompany me to our prepaid breakfast which was great, my best in the Phillipines. music was maddening though, fake jazz on an eternal loop!

Crown Regency Hotel and Towers is one of the best hotel in Cebu. I stayed in this hotel twice during my business trips. And will always love to stay here because of its A1 accommmodation. But one thing i've noticed in this hotel is that the lobby is always crowded, maybe because of the small space of the hotel's lobby. But i don'n mind it, my main concern is the comfortability of the hotel's room. And they really serve it well.

our stay in waterfront cebu city hotel and casino was overall great!!! however just want to share this for future reference that i hope would not happen again on my agoda booking.prior to our departure, i received an email last Feb 15, 2014 from a certain, ms Alena an Agoda Customer Support Specialist stating that our booking with this hotel was confirmed but the hotel had a problem with there system thus indicating that they fully booked on the date that we are supposed to stay. it also stated that the hotel is offering to relocate us to waterfront airport hotel instead and that they will give a suite room w/o any additional charges and that they will pick us up from the airport to the hotel (w/c is just few steps away from the airport). I replied back the reason i choose waterfront in metro cebu is because of its location. it is situated in metro cebu and near tourist spots and establishments. i also said that i will agree with the transfer if the hotel will provide shuttle service. I received an email reply on feb 16, 2014 from a certain Serene an agoda customer support specialist stating that the hotel could not extend a complimentary shuttle service for us but instead could arrange a shuttle service for a fee ww/c will cost us Php675. i replied again to show how disappointed i am, and also stated that the error on their system would cause difficulty or hard time for us. i also stated that we will proceed as per advised by your agoda specialist to proceed first to the original hotel hoping in good faith that we would have a room. On the date of our arrival, we manage to get a room for us. I discuss this matter to the staff of waterfront cebu city hotel and stated that the situation is not true and that the booking was ok and we really have a room the moment our booking was confirmed. as mentioned, i just want to share this experience and the wishing it would not happen again to my future transaction with your good office. sincerely yours, rommel romero

This is the best bang for the buck hotel in Cebu. Location is close to Airport, SM Cebu, and My City Bus. The room is big and clean and if you get lucky with your room you get to see the Cebu Downtown. This hotel is across from SM Cebu so it's very convenient to do any shopping. You can also take the BRT from SM Cebu terminal to go to other places likes Airport and SM Seaside which makes it cheaper to travel within the city. There is a 7/11 outside the hotel so that is a plus too. On the downside, the room is not bright. I dislike hotels that doesn't have enough lights in their rooms. The breakfast is ok, not much of selection and nothing else to talk about it. The staffs are attentive and helpful but that's about it. I have no problems with them. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel that has very good value, you should go for this one.

It is truly a good blessing after the fact that our original RCI booking at Casa Del Mar & Golf Resort turn out to be inhabitable thus a decision need to be made in order for us to secure a better place to stay. Cebu White Sands Resort answered our needs and we made a booking thru Agoda that made our decision made it easier because of the cost, Amenities offered, high class look of the resort and the good location that made our real purpose to visit Cebu and that is to see as many good places in Cebu Province.

Stayed for the last two days of our vacation just to chill and do nothing. Beach front room, very very clean, huge bathroom which is very a bliss after staying in 3 stars hotels for days, shower hot enough unlike other hotels in Cebu WiFi working in most places of the resort. Beach was very nice, big enough. Pool seems a bit small though but we stayed on beach area most of the time. Food of course a bit over-priced but not too bad. Breakfast was quite good with a range of different selections.

The Bai Hotel Cebu was an amazing stay. The service, food, room, amenities, and everything about the Bai Hotel was outstanding. Words can't describe the experience during my stay. In the past I stayed at the Marriott at Ayala Mall but if I knew then what I know now I would have stayed at the Bai Hotel. The service by the staff was amazing, room and housekeeping the best and food, off the charts. The best breakfast buffet ever and I'm serious, the Cafe is the best. If you want an experience like never before visit the Twighlight Rooftop Lounge. Keep up the great work Bai Hotel, I will be back again and again when I return to Cebu. The Bai Hotel is Best in Class !!

Best hotel I got for the money of the 5 I stayed in the Philippines this trip. Nicest rooms and balcony, I had just flown in from the Hilton Waikoloa and that is my favorite all time hotel if you don’t mind being nickel and dimed after you pay through the nose. We stayed for 2 nights with my family!!= It was the best holiday ever. We fell in love with the place straight away. Its the best island resort we have been ever been to and not to far drive from cebu city itself. A very nice private island resort.. 5 Star treatment from the staff.. Lovely food.. Big spacious rooms, not to mention the private touch from the flower decors of our rooms everyday.. We also went to the other side of the island for snorkeling. We were very much looked after by the staff! The owner of the resort come over and welcomed us which was very nice of the them ...Definately worth coming back

Found out about this hotel thru a referral in Agoda. Booked right away 4 rooms for 4 families for a very good price. Check in process was very efficient and did not have any fuss, was in and out of the front desk in less than 10 mins. Was even able to squeeze in a special request for a matrimonial bed instead of twin beds. Room was spacious for my family and fit all our luggage. Bed was particularly very comfortable and soft and we had a good night sleep. I wish they added more convenience outlets for charging our gadgets. Bathroom was also very nice with a minimalist and clean setup although we wish it had a toilet bidet for more convenience. Another good thing about the hotel was its close proximity to Ayala Malls Cebu which was about a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute ride via a taxi. Staff were also very pleasant and made sure to greet and welcome you once you pass by. All in all a pleasant stay and might stay here again for another Cebu trip. Stayed here for one night upon arrival in Cebu. Hotel offered free shuttle pick-up from the airport which was why we had chosen to stay.There is a convenience store right next door which was helpful for those travelers who come in and want to take a rest right away and not have to go out again. Restaurant had nice Filipino dishes at competitive prices for an eat-in dinner after a long day. Pool could be a bit more well-kept, and too bad the slide seemed not maintained and was closed. Not recommended if you are looking for a luxury vacation stay filled with amenities that kids can enjoy -- but definitely worth the price as a transit hotel^^. The welcome drink and free breakfast buffet were all nice additional touches!

I enjoyed my extended stay at the Parklane Hotel in Cebu. Very nice, clean, new hotel. Room was nice, comfortable bed, reliable internet service. The amenities are nice including a gym and pool, nice coffee bar downstairs, and a wonderful buffet spread in Manuel's restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner. The cost for my stay was very reasonable and I feel that this hotel provides excellent value. Most impressive to me were the friendly, helpful, smiling staff. The hotel is located just across the street from Ayala Mall and is close to everything in Cebu, very convenient. I have stayed at other hotels in Cebu and am glad that I tried the Parklane. I will definitely be staying there the next time that I am in the area and was very pleased with my experience there.

absolute one of the best (if not THE best) resort we have stayed here in cebu. we stayed in the garden pool villa. big garden, private (small) swimming pool, fenced. the only disadvantage is the distance to cebu city and for international travelers the distance to the airport. we live in metro cebu, so for us it is just a drive by our own car. tourist will be picked up by the hotel. actually i would not know what else could be a disadvantage for this resort. the rooms/villas are very nice, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is good. it is not one of the cheapest resorts at cebu island but for sure it is value for money. would like to go back there again. enjoyed our stay VERY much.

Having booker may rooms around Asia that don’t meet their descriptions or photos I was very happy with pillows, if you booking online it’s better to pay for breakfast as is only £1.50 more for 2 people it’s £3 per person in the hotel, the staff here are very helpful if you have a problem the bed is the best hotel I’ve ever had and you could sleep 4 people in it easily, the shower heats up very quickly and has a good water pressure, the room didn’t include a TV remove as it had a cable box with a really good signal and many western channels, although at 1st we didn’t know how to turn the TV on but room service showed us, all in all a great hotel for 20$ per night close to mango square but far away from the noise and bars, makes s change for the many tired, dated and dirty hotels in Cebu

I have been coming here to the 'Montebello Villa' Hotel for eight years. I come once or twice a year and always stay here. There are other hotels in Cebu in the same price range, but this is the best value for your money. They have been remodeling the hotel bit by bit, and the improvements are outstanding. The hotel is located in Banilad - Apas area, across the boulevard from UC Cebu behind a small mall. The mall is very convenient within walking distance. The staff here at the Montebello are outstanding and sometimes they accept interns from the HRM program at UC. The hotel has beautiful gardens, a number of pools a beauriful terrace ans resturant poolside. I can only give them 5 stars, I wish there were 6 available. JoeKanoguy

We have stayed at the Hotel Elizabeth numerous times over the past few years. The rooms are clean, spacious and loaded with needed amenities. I feel this is one of the best managed hotels in the area. They are extremely courteous and helpful to everyone. Their security is top notch. The new Chef (as of 1/2017) was an excellent choice as the food is well prepared and the addition of an omelet station is a plus for a hotel of this quality. I was very surprised to find the employees remembered us when we returned 6 months later and then again a year after that. That alone tells me the employees not only enjoy working there but also enjoy getting to know the clientele. This is our fav "go to" hotel in Cebu City.

Usually I don't write reviews, but this time I just have to share my positive experience. We stayed for a short trip in early April 2013 in Anika Island Resort. The time in the resort exceeded all our expectations by far! The location and hotel beach are superb. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very nice and clean and the hotel is very nicely integrated into the surroundings of the island. Overall, I can absolutely recommend the place for everyone who prefers white beaches, crystal clear water and a native surrounding to the busy streets of Cebu. Still, Santa Fe offers some nice bars and restaurants to enjoy the last hours of the day, but don't expect too much night-life going on on this cozy island. The hotel staff will make you feel like home and arrange everything necessary for you, whether you decide to do some island hopping/snorkeling on Virgin Island (it's a must...!!!), want to rent a scooter to discover the island on your own or do a guided tour etc. As Bantayan Island is quite far from Cebu/Mactan airport, I recommend you contact the hotel in advance to arrange an airport pick-up to the ferry in Hagnayan and vice versa. The transfer will be more cheap than taking a local taxi and the driver Jimmy is a nice and honest guy and besides also a very safe driver. You can also book him for a very recommendable Cebu sight-seeing trip, same like we did on our last day. We will definitely come back to Anika Island Resort..!!!

Really good service. The room was clean but the layout could be nicer especially about the bathroom. We stayed in the family room which was spacious but the air-conditioning was not that good. We were however pleasantly surprised that guests are given 1 complimentary ride to or from the airport. Really great value for money, good place to stay in the night prior departing from Cebu to have a hassle-free ride to the airport.

Regarding the Five Star Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu on a scale of 1 to 5 we rated it at 10! We just had our 12th beautiful experience at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu, Philippines. The staff once again are considerate beyond belief, friendly and helpful making our experience very enjoyable. The food is great, the room service from Aaron and housekeeping from Jenny. Outstanding general attention and kindness from all levels of management and staff including a very warm and extremely hospitable Dazzle, Richard , Sabrina still a trainee but beaming with a promise. and too many persons to be able to cite by name but all of them outstanding and much appreciated. The hotel operators like Farah and Adel are both very helpful and accommodating. Another, impressive memory was during our latest visit when Rose, the business executive manager when learning that I was temporarily ill send her assistant to bring me Gatorade. The staff at the swimming pool have always been extraordinary in their attention to our needs and comfort which we appreciate. We are deeply indebted for the fine service at the pool from Charisma who is always been very kind and thoughtful in making us feel at home and comfortable. The food is excellent with new creations and innovation with their NEW OUTDOOR RESTAURANT you can really dine with the StARS and have Romantic evening with candlelight to make guests love the outdoor meals served including superior and premium steaks that my wife and I dearly loved,that WE DINE 2 nights in a ROW ! Lastly, Sous chef ,Joeffrey and executive chef Roberto Kunitz are wonderful in terms of their service to customers and are much appreciated by this customer and family. A hallmark of this beautiful restaurant is there breakfast Buffet which is the most elegant and varied breakfast buffets I’ve ever tried in my worldwide travels. The food is not only delicious but is served by the staff with loving care and attention to the guests is”exceptionnel”

For 20 years I have stayed 50+ nights a year in hotels in various parts of the world; mostly Europe and North and South America. I had used 4 or 5 star beach resorts on Mactan Island on 3 prior visits to Cebu. They were good hotels but had no soul. The staff were robotic - by rote answers to questions and, if something unusual was asked, the human equivalent of a computer page being unavailable. So I asked myself what I was looking for from a Cebu hotel. The answer was comfort, safety, a decent swimming pool and good transport links. The Waterfront Airport is what it says it is; a 3 star airport hotel where most customers will stay overnight after arriving or prior to departure from Mactan-Cebu Airport. However it is much more than that. I stayed in a Deluxe suite. This was actually three good sized rooms: a bedroom with double bed, TV and plenty of storage; a bathroom which had a bath with a flexible shower fitting and a separate shower room with a fixed shower; and, a lounge with TV, two seater sofa and 2 chairs, table, TV, mini-bar, two large windows giving views of the city and interior on one side and of the airport on the other, and more storage. Each room had a phone and air conditioning operating down to 18C. It made a quiet background hum causing no disturbance. Rooms are sound-proofed but planes can be seen and just about heard in the lobby area. The swimming pool is 28x12 yards and 3-4 feet deep throughout with a small area which is very shallow and suitable for young children. Complimentary towels are provided and there is a good quality gym adjacent to it. At weekend from 7-11pm a pianist and singer perform in the lobby lounge. Marina Mall is an 8 Peso jeepney ride or ten minute walk away. The hotel, although 3 star, provided terrific value for money, has staff who go out of their way to be helpful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality at a competitive price and a good base from which to explore Cebu, city and island.

My first time to be far from Cebu City and it did not disappoint me. Mangodlong Paradise resort was one of the most relaxing place I had amongst all the beach resorts i've ever been in the past. What made me say this? Here are my observations/comments: 1. Room & bathroom-Very clean & tidy. We booked the deluxe room for two and it is far better than the room i had in Cebu city with almost the same rate. They even have clothesline, first ever to see it in Mangodlong. That's a plus for me! 2. Staffs-Friendly & polite. Even encountered someone who volunteered to help me open our room. Very seldom to experience that kind of service. Just by observing, he immediately offered his help. When I asked for a first aid, Kuya Mike did a great job in taking care of my foot. He's very cautious in doing it. 3. Food- Buffet for breakfast is a plus. The range & variety is good as well as the ala carte list which we had for dinner. My concern is that some are salty i.e. Bam-i and scrambled egg. But the rest, worth the penny. :) 4. Pool-The water is not too cold which made it more relaxing to use. It was the second resort i've seen that used a different kind of flooring on the pool. That kind of floor or whatever you call it seemed like the one keeping the water a bit warm or normal. 5. Beach-The sand is very nice. However, there were small pebbles of rock on the beach so better swim with ur diving shoes or slip-ons to protect you from getting cut by the stones. That's the accident i had there, I stepped on a pointed stone. The shore though is a bit short but we enjoyed still cause the it is not crowded. For me its way better than a lengthy shoreline with a mob of peeps. 6. Service-They gave us a good service. Though I waited for a first aid for about 10mins, i still received an excellent service for taking care of me. It was by far the best hotel experience I've ever had not only in Cebu but all over the Philippines. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the staff's usual smiling faces. All were very fluent in English and really know their stuff. There's no inquiry I was not answered on a straightforward manner. And also, the complimentary drinks upon arrival, refreshing! I didn't even get the chance to ask what was that! Great juice! I really can't say one by one how awesome my stay was in Henry's. But to sum it all up -- I am willing to spend all of my days in Henry's! It was my first time to visit Cebu, and Henry's did a huge contribution to that unforgettable experience I had. Very memorable. They deserve to be the #1 Hotel in Cebu. Heart heart!
