Traveling to Thailand? Find Chaiyaphum Province hotels

Not much to do in Chaiyaphum itself,that means there are not many comfortable hotels especially for non Thai people. Therefore Siam River Resort is probably the best one. Clean large room (wifi worked as I got a 2nd floor room above reception in the main bldg. Not sure if you stay in other bldgs ). Helpful staff. The bed was hard but it is quite norm in Thailand. Apart from that, I enjoyed a dip at swimming pool. There is 7/11 convenience store 200m from the hotel. Many street food venders along that road, too.

We didn’t expect much from the stay considering that Chaiyaphum is not well known for leisure travel. But it turned out to be one of the best stays in any hotel. We were greeted with home-made passion fruit drink (plucked from their own yard next to the rooms). Food was excellent, not to mention great view from our terrace. The next morning the owner and the manager walked us through their garden for a full hour. We learned about all sorts of plants the owner collected and cared for more than a decade. My daughter was so joyful that she insisted we stay at the place again the next time. If you want to stay quiet and enjoy the true nature but still with comfort, this is the place.

Nice and relax stay. Very close to Tung Krajeaw. The entrance to the resort is quite confuse, so better call to ask the staff. Shower water is not strong (during our stay, the hot water machine is not working well). Nice staff.

A low cost but very nice spacious room with ample amenities including free WiFi, a refrigerator, adequate toiletries and comfortable bed. The free breakfast was somewhat mediocre with limited selection, but overall the Dee Prom is an excellent choice for staying in Chaiyaphum, Thailand.

Stayed here a few times whilst up visiting the family. The hotel is a good clean hotel, if not a little dated. However the rooms are large with a balcony. There isnt a lift to the rooms so beware if you are on a higher floor. Breakfast is just coffee and rice soup, but it does the job for a couple of hours. A short walk to the night market and also there is a farang bar ( one bar ) around the corner if you are in the mood for a few cold ones. There isn't much to do as far as night life in chaiyaphum, apart from the shopping and local eating places. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here if you are here for a night or two.

i will stay here again as many times as i am able to travel back to chaiyaphum area! very nice rooms and very clean! i couldn't have asked for a better experience! stayed an additional 4 weeks!

Really enjoyed Chaiyaphum and staying at Pocket Park was a part of that. The accommodations were very modern, clean, and comfortable. The bed could have been a little softer for our liking but it worked. At first we were disappointed there was no food on site except crackers and coffee in the AM. The receptionist had all kinds of great suggestions for eateries. The coffee shop, Cupple Coffee Shop was a great place to eat. They made eggs to order and their coffee made with mocha ice cream one morning and chocolate the next were to die for. The Thai/International restaurant across from Cupple was another hit. So whatever one might think Pocket Park lacks in terms of food offerings can easily be made up in nearby walkable delicious restaurant fare.

Excellent country location but need car or bike to access restaurants, cafes and shops. Accomodation was clean but requires a lot of TLC to update facilities to modern standards. Owner very friendly. If the rooms were repaired and refurbished it would make the resort an excellent choice, increase the review scores and encourage more bookings. A pity this is not beeing done.

after many years in this area have found that there are no good hotels in Chaiyaphum city but this one is still worse than average. Decided to stay here in spite of bad reviews as wife had meeting next door pros's - room clean, wifi adequate, a/c ok. cons - bed hard, bedding old, hot water weak, tv old and no English channels, hotel staff have no English ability, could not find our booking for almost 1 hour, and next day had to insist that payment was to be collected by hotel per booking - she was rude implying that we somehow were responsible for her failure. I made sure we paid and got a receipt to avoid being stopped at the airport leaving Thailand since they collect passport information. More cons - very limited parking and security demanded we move our cars as the hotel receives deliveries at nite. Will definitely not stay here again

i dont sure what is its.But i think maybe this is a hotel ahhhh hotel. its not employee not house-keeping nothing life in this area.first time when i'm arrive I saw just gate-keeper, yes just a gate-keeper

Perfect place to be when you are in the area. Don't believe the Agoda map, the hotel is on the lake in the middle of town. Try to tell them if you don't speak Thai. But they will definitely smile at you. Very Thai. Try it out

It's in the middle of nowhere, but if you find yourself in this remote corner of the country, this is the place to stay. You do need your own transport and there's no food at the hotel.

I stayed here as I was driving my motorbike from Bangkok to Vientiane and needed to sleep halfway. It was difficult to find the hostel, as there are no signs in English, and would have been impossible without Maps on my phone. The room was ok, nothing too special, but I really liked that each room was its own bungalow, set on a peaceful pond. I didn't eat there, really just arrived, slept, and left

This hotel seemed to care more about the restaurant and event business. I have stayed here before and would only stay again if nothing else available. When I checked in they wanted me to pay 600baht, I had to insist that I paid already. This is a dump. Bed very hard. The customer is just something to tolerate.

nice smiling staff.... but I suggest they improve internet access eventhough they prop up a bit the price.
