Traveling to Thailand? Find Phetchabun Province hotels

As the title suggests, this is definitely a Thai interpretation of what they think an English Country Inn should be. It's also important to note that this hotel caters only to Thai tourists, not foreigners. A good example would be the menu. It's 95% Thai food, with two small concessions: fish & chips, and tea & scones for teatime. Another good example would be the TV cable service: 200 Thai-language channels, no English. Plusses: Beautiful mountain scenery, beautiful flower gardens, tastefully appointed rooms, comfortable balcony for each room. Minuses: The "hot" on the shower faucet should read "lukewarm" (give up the hope for a nice hot shower on a cold morning). Be aware that if you visit in cold season, the rooms are unheated. It was about 15C when I was there, and room never got above 18C--considerably uncomfortable. Lucky I had brought at extra comforter blanket with me, and it made for a bearable night. The short hiking trail to the top of the mountain behind the resort was strewn with litter. The staff needs to send someone along the trail on a daily basis for a clean-up detail, and the guests need to have better manners. Lastly, and more worrisome--I would guess that the mountain scenery that the resort faces will be barren and black/brown in just a few years. The entire three day stay was greeted by farmers burning the vegetation all the way nearly to the top of the mountain. Not only did it create a smoky haze that drifted to the resort, but it left an ugly blackened scar. I hope future guests will have natural, unspoiled views.

a fantastic stay Phukaew hill resort, the rooms were very big, built on the hillside with great views to wake up to in the morning, definitely need a car, as the hotel is in a national park and very mountainous, but that added to the beauty of the hotel, phetchabun province is a hidden gem in Thailand, very scenic, I will definitely stay at this hotel again, enjoyed every minute.

Great views, great service, great food. We stayed for 3 nights. Two things stopped be giving 5 stars across the board. The place is one of the more expensive in the area, so a pool would have been nice. Breakfast was the same limited choice each day. By the third day I was already bored of it.

When I made the reservations, felt like their price was too high, but when we arrived, the price was fully justified. We have stayed at many mountain resorts and none of them could come close to the 'fineness' of Sirinati. It is at a class of the best hotels in Bangkok. Yes, it is not a 5-star hotel but it does come close. The materials used to fabricate the resort were all quality merchandise. The units were built on the hillside and so in the morning when the fog rolled in, it was a beautiful site. The only negative, the lighting in the room could be brighter and there should be some bedside lamp. The bathroom towels were of such quality, one could not imagine what it cost the resort to furnish the bathroom with them. The bed/mattress/comforter were of the highest quality. We had hot water in both the shower and the bathroom sink. A fitting touch, there wer some small sweets in the room for our enjoyment. The breakfast buffet was excellent. the variety was excellent, omelets, eggs, 3 types of meat, toast, cereals, waffles, 5/6 different juices, even 3 or 4 excellent thai dishes. And of course, a premium coffee machine. The Sirinati is a 25/27 unit resort and parking was more than adequate. Since the resort is built on the hillside, they use an electric cart to deliver you and your luggage to your room, which was quite large for resort standards.

Great location, however it is currently more of a coffee shop and sightseeing spot rather than a 4-stars hotel. Nonetheless, the coffee is good, and definitely are the breakfast, which we really love. Would recommend the property to have a better, and appropriate setup for the reception for resort guests. We love it nonetheless, but with some improvements, this would be the place to stay in Khao Kho.

Great view from the hotel into the valley in Khaoi Khor area. It's best to have own transport to go to the hotel and travel in the area. Good service by reception & restaurant staff. Would recommend the better rooms same level as reception to avoid walk up & down the hill which can be cumbersome for older or very young guests. Would go back when visiting this area.

The Krin Resort crew is very helpfully... you come there for first time, then you think directly.... here i come back or book a second night immediately. I did many resorts in Kho Khao but this one for me, the number one... good breakfast, very clean... try the pasta on Thai style... jammie jamie :)

Hotel is locating at the nice location near the temple and pino latte cafe with in walk distant. Room is comfortable for 2 people with full facility. Bath room is a bit small but can be use with no problem. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dinning area is also great view can see the temple during breakfsat. Over all is very good.

The place of this hotel is big with adventure park. But too bad we didn’t get to play as the weather is too hot and our time is limited too! We stayed for 2 nights at the hillside rooms with our 4 friends. We love the garden and surrounding areas with lots of greenery. Phukaew peak is where we can see the part of Khao kho. The hotel provide transport in the morning for us to take sunrise at the peak. We would like to thank all the staff who have rendered the service to us. Not forgetting Ms Si the manager who have showed us around the place. Thank you! Indeed we enjoyed our stayed in this hotel. We will return the next time when in Khao Kho. Also will recommend friends to stay here.

Wow - Hotel room is large and new. Furniture and color tone make it more premium. King bed is real King Bed with comfortable textile. - Room & Hotel decoration is minimal but give you pleasant feeling. - You can see sunset with a view of wind Turbine on top of the mountain from hotel's dining area. - Dinner is great. Food quality can be compared with international chain hotel. (ordered Pizza, Salad, Fries) - Large and clean garden area in the hotel (suitable for couple, family, kids) Room to improve - Breakfast is ok, but the quality can be improved comparing with hotel price. - The location is peaceful , quite, and great view from dining area, but is not located on the best point in the area.

If you are looking for a place to stay in a best view at Khao Kor , I will recommend you stay here . Owner is so sweet and great take care us . You can see the view from your bed . Breakfast was great .

We reached the hotel quite late at night, but the owner still waiting for us patiently outside the hotel, and help us with the check in right away. I can see how much he's proud of his hotel as he was so excitingly introduced the room to us, even though he can't speak english well, and it makes us feels happy too. Of course the view here is really great that you can see sea of cloud from your balcony in the morning, and the breakfast is simple yet delicious. The owner even helps us to fix some parts of our car as we had a small accident one night before. Definitely recommend to everyone who's going to KhaoKho soon.

Great location, lovely surroundings with a lake. It seemed to be a resort with 2 distinct parts, one part where the rooms were very nice but seemed no one was staying and then another part where rooms were a little tired when we stayed. All was good but rooms very tired. Breakfast also not the best, maybe 4/10.

This place near Story cup coffee, ease to find and not far from the main route. The staffs are kindness and can suggest the proper room for customers. I'm sure that I must choose this place for next time.

There’s a strawberry farm to allow you experience the of plucking strawberries and the sunset there was the best thing!

Looking for place to recharge? Here is the best! Once I enter the resort area, I can feel the difference. This resort is not like others. I can feel privacy and be relax here. I book for small room but I got upgraded for free since we were the only customer during off peak and weekday. Even if the house is in the forest but it kinda modern. No phone signal but wifi provided work well. The big house has kitchen and bbq stove. Also they provide board game for rent. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast and homemade gelato are very nice. I enjoy shopping organic products so much. However, bathtub is pretty small and no receptacle for 3 pin plug.

we booked this hotel as a part of out family trip. the price is very good. when, we arrived, we found that this hotel is small but beautiful. the location is only a short ride for the sukothai world heritage site. the facility is great. great pool, small canal run through the resort. there is an ancient temple just a few step from the back gate of the hotel. the service is great. we really love this hotel and plan to come back .

Rooms are cleand and newly renovated like they mention. Please pay attention to upgrade the bathrooms. No need luxury things inside, just make it nice like the bedrooms. 3 old ladies are warm and kind, we love them. They are really taking care of what we need. Love this short vacation.

This hotel is situated in a quiet location just a few minutes’ drive from the main road. We had a large, spacious cabin which was comfortable, but would benefit from refurbishment. Breakfast is the only meal provided and it was adequate, Despite the rather tired decor, I’d consider staying there again on account of the location.

After I arrive at hotel the reception said that she do not know we book with their hotel via agoda so, they did not prepare the rooms for me. Therefore, she find the other room type for us instead. I booked with 4 rooms but they give us with other 3 room types instead!!

As my first time in khao kho, it was great and impressive. I’m so grateful to stay at this place, nice location, great stuffs , delish breakfast and clean . I hope to be back again!! ขอบคุณน้องวินะจ๊ะ ยิ้มแย้ม เป็นกันเองสุดๆ

a very nice and quiet place to relax, owner/lady at the reception greeted us and told us where to go for tourist attractions. room is clean and everything works fine.

The cottage was comfortable, though the best part of the stay was the effort and kindness showed by the owners and the resort staff. We were looked after so well and we would definitely stay here again. We were lookig for a quiet week away from the city and this is exactly what we found. We were given a tour of the area by the owner at a reasonable price and we will not forget the extra effort made every day to ensure we were happy and comfortable. A very decent, honest and enjoyable place to stay.

Great location with stunning view of khao kho. Friendly staff and boss. Yummy breakfast. Comfortable environment. Reasonable price and u will never regret to choose here. Strongly recommended and will be back again if visit khao kho again in futute.

Overall - very nice and relaxing. Phetchabun is great for those people wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a few days, and if you like walking or mountain views, then this is a place to come to.

I was very excited for my Khao Kho trip on a long weekend in Thailand, following so many good reviews about this place. And since it is an adventure in the mountains, I might as well experience a unique way of staying here - thru Glamping! I booked the Escape Room which is a large tent with private toilet and bath. It has basic amenities too. It’s camping in a stylish way. The bed was comfortable, water heater was working well and the lighting inside the tent gives a comfortable vibe. The location of the hotel was perfect for me as I was looking for a peaceful place that is very close to nature. It was raining that day when we arrived and sound of it hitting the tent was very palpable. If you have problems with sounds of nature, then I would not recommend the Escape Room. Breakfast was average. But the thing I loved the most was the way they handled my request. A week prior to my arrival, I’ve messages the hotel if they can arrange some flowers and cake for my friend who is celebrating his birthday on the day we are checking-in. Their responses are quick and they were very accommodating. They were keen on providing my request and followed my instructions. It turned out to be more than what I expected as the cake and flowers were perfect! My friend was pleasantly surprised and was very happy. I would like to specifically commend Miss Lingling for the fantastic job she did to provide my requests. It made our stay in Red Z even more memorable.
