i and my family was very satisfied during our stay here. the receptions were very kind and courteous. sumptuous food were served during breakfast. the shopping centres are within the same building, which is convenience for us. looking forward to staying at this hotel again whenever we were at miri, sarawak.

I was in Kuching for a 3D2N business trip. Everyone was very friendly and I definitely liked it here. Riverside Majestic Hotel is locates at the centerpoint of downtown Kuching. Short walking distance to various amenities. For example, there are 7-11 and Gloria Jeans Cafe right across the street. Cinema is available just next to the hotel, on the 4th floor. Lots of great and scrumptious local delights worth explore (day and night). Topspot Food Court serves cheap but fresh seafood, Kolo Mee and Sarawak Laksa are available within 2km radius. I definitely enjoy various night lights along the riverfront which has numerous spot (e.g. city mosque and Astana) where you can stop and soak it all in. Overall it was a pleasant trip in Kuching. Hotel staff were very efficient and amicable, they smile all the time and be ready to assist travellers always.

In general, this hotel self my need for the trip . The room is clean and fairly large compare to some other hotel in the city. The view from the room is very nice as you can see mountain ranges in the distance and low laying residential houses in between. The breakfast is simple spread but I enjoyed Sarawak laksa and pastries. The hot beverage is from the instance mix machine. If you need to have your freshly brew coffee, you can order it with extra charges. The gym located at level 6. It contained quite a comprehensive and relatively high-end equipment. Plus well maintained facility for guest to enjoyed. The view from the swimming pool deck is nice. Security seems to be good as no very tight plus guest is allow to go to the floor that the room that he/she stay.

The location of the hotel is probably the best in Kuching, the famous Kuching Statue is just in front of the hotel and shopping plazas and centres, food courts and restaurants, cinemas are less than a five-minute walk. The esplanade and tambangs (small boats that take passengers across the river) are a stone's throw away and will give you access to the Orchid Gradens, Fort Margherita, and shops selling the famous Sarawak Kueh Lapis. The rooms in the hotel are very spacious and clean and the staff are very efficient and polite. Breakfast was spoilt for choice,there's vegetarian, Sarawak cuisine, western, Chinese, Indian, Malay and so much more. The hotel even make arrangements to other tourist attractions such as the Sarawak Cultural Village, Bako National Park and many more and the prices are very reasonable as compared to those found online or from the local tourist agencies. Checking in and out was a breeze. Our request for the rooms of our choice was promptly granted. I really couldn't not be any happier and satisfied by the the hotel and staff and will definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Kuching again. Thanks Grand Margherita Hotel.

my family stay at Pullman hotel 2 nite. . my son enjoy the swimming pool very well.their swimming pool very nice and clean. .. The location of this hotel is very good,, their hotel have lift can go hill shopping mall eating and shopping. we enjoy eat sushi kng at the shopping mall. around the hotel a lot restaurant to eat seafood.. we go 'see good' restaurant during our dinner time. . another plave enjoy seafood is top spot...recommend all people go there enjoy seafood. . very good environment ... walking distance to water front.. shopping complex like tun jugah, pakson, sarawak plaza. .. love this hotel bery much. . will stay back this hotel when back.to borneo sarawak

Spacious room, well designed layout and feeling of comfort. Pool and Jacuzzi is facing beautiful south china sea and blue sky, enjoyed the morning so much. Nearby hotel has Tong Fong restaurant with delicious Sarawak laksa and HiHaHai seafood restaurant with delicious seafood. You may walk to Ming Café for a glass of beer after your seafood dinner. After breakfast we walked to Miri handicraft for shopping and the handicraft handbag is so beautiful with affordable pricings. You can get your Kuih Lapis from a shop nearby hotel and also at Miri Handicraft. They are not too sweet and I bought all classic flavor. One more thing is the white pepper recommended by locals to buy from a shop owned by Bong family just near market and opposite KFC.

Friendly staff at the main door of hotel. Nice breakfast. Surprisingly delicious Sarawak Laksa can be found for the breakfast!! Room is clean and comfortable. It is very suitable for alone business traveller. Feel safe when staying there. Overall very good!

We got to hotel at 10am and they allowed us to check in. The room booked was the cheapest option (Superior) but it came with 1 King and 1 single beds, perfect for family of four. It also had large space with coffee table, kettle, fridge and bathtub. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite good with all the normal things provided, although the rolls/pastries could be more fresh. The only downside is the swimming pool needs more chairs and you can't order drinks/food there. The location is just across restaurants, bars and shops. I recommend the Ming Cafe opposite for great food and ambience and party at night. Go to the nearby shops for Sarawak Laksa, yummy! We took a local taxi (RM250 return) to Niah Caves, 1 hour to get there and 4 hours walking/exploring. Definitely recommend the hotel although probably better to book directly, can get cheaper rate.

we stayed in the hotel at the request of our 13 year old daughter. the decor is absolutely modern art deco excessive and that is somewhat amusing. she loved it. i loved the bathtub with scalding hot water. very nice. they missed the boat by buying cheap health club equipment that is more fitting for a home gym, with the exception of the treadmills which are normal gym caliber. what was best about this hotel was the breakfast buffet. possibly the best choices in a buffet of any hotel we have been to in the last 7 months hotel living. so if eating breakfast is your thing, a+. working out, c. oh, and of course it is attached to a mall.

This is a very nice, clean, quiet hotel that is centrally located. An excellent breakfast was included in the price that iboasteda variety of Malaysian, American and Asian choices...hotel staff is fantastic and it is close to a variety of eateries....and a couple of money changing businesses, bars, and local food and the best bookshop in Sarawak, Belle's books! The bed had four very usable pillows and really cold AC. I enjoyed my stay here and you probably would too...

This hotel is consider one of the best hotel in Sarawak and especially Kuching area. Good location and convenient to the most attraction location that is the Santubong Village that offers all kind of villages to view at one particular area. Enjoyed the stay there with a very scenery beach and wonderful view.

With an advantageous strategic location, the regal Merdeka Palace Hotel & Suites gives guests privilege across to some of Kuching city’s historical jewels such as the Sarawak Museum and one of Kuching’s landmarks, Padang Merdeka. Nearby are the Textile Museum, Chinese History Museum and Islamic Museum. The Hotel is just a short walk to the newly-built shopping mall, Plaza Merdeka, and is a 10-minute walk to the Main Bazaar, famed for its souvenir shops and the city centre along with other attractions.

Had a very pleasant stay here overall. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The staff allowed us to use the wonderful business lounge for extended periods each day, which we really appreciated. The hotel is very conveniently located near many restaurants and shops, adjoining a major shopping centre which is also a short walk from the Handicrafts centre. The singers in the Hijau lounge were very good indeed, and welcoming towards our group. Had some very good meals in the hotel, including pizza, Sarawak Laksa, and a variety of breakfast foods. Just one criticism, and that is for a 4-star hotel, the bathroom grout should and could easily be cleaned, and the room carpets (especially under the bed) should and could be cleaned easily. Additionally, for a hotel of this calibre, why not use nice, fluffy towels? Using the old, scratchy towels is inconsistent with the general look of the hotel which is actually very impressive in a lot of ways.

was staying here for husband's birthday celebration. the staff cooperate and support very well with me to give a surprise for husbands birthday. other than that, my room has a fantastic view, facing the sarawak river and waterfront. the bed is comfy and the bathroom is quite large suitable for those having kids and baby. wide spread of food for breakfast too. walking distance to all the best spot in kuching such as india street, waterfront, old court house, and china town. keep up the best service!! will definitely stay here again in future.

Have everything nearby, just walking distance. Very recommended to whom travel without transport. You can easily walk to nearby facilities like dobi 24 hours, grocery store and 7E, massage place, mall, malay restaurant. And the hotel itself also have malay restaurant. For long distance you just easily take grab, it's cheap. To miri airport it's take RM15-RM20. The room floor 3, 327 just perfect for solo travelers like me. The shower rain very strong i like it. For those travelling with family i recommend take bigger room. i can stay here for a month, that how i can conclude it. Stop reading, you want cheap and the best? it is ano hotel. Mohd Zaidi Hamzah

When I arrived at the hotel for the first time, I was surprised with the facility of the hotel. Usually, hotel that is certified as three star hotel has no swimming pool, but this hotel has it. This hotel provide facility of four star hotel with the price of two star hotel. Beside that, the hotel also has a good location near waterfront Kuching with the view of Sarawak river.

The location is very strategic. Recommended to those who like to travel by foot as many tourist attractions that are within walking distance. Just a bot ride away (RM1.00/ride) you can visit the Fort Margherita for historical experience and Gersik Village for some "kek Lapis" (Sarawak traditional snack/cake). Shopping malls are also very near to the hotel. Most importantly, don't forget to take picture at the many Kuching's (kucing=cat) signature statue situated around the city, there is one near the hotel (in front of MC Donald). The room were very clean, we almost got the 4-star feel! LOL. The wi-fi connection is top-notch, watched my fav. K-Drama without loading. Just one turn-off point, we could hear everything from the opposite room. We didn't get proper rest as we were woken up by the constant sound of the door banging. Nevertheless, we had a nice stay!

I spent 5 days at the Harbour View, or HV as it is known locally. On check in the staff were friendly and efficient, and the room was clean and well maintained. Rooms are serviced daily with 2 complimentary bottles of water replaced each day as well. The rooms have a small fridge, TV, and the aircon worked perfectly. HV is located 1 street back from the Sarawak River, and the riverside rooms have a spectacular view of this. The Kuching waterfront development (a pedestrian esplanade) is located directly opposite the hotel - this has a range of eateries, shops and entertainment, as is popular at night with locals. The Main Bazaar area of Kuching starts right next to the HV - this area has loads of handicraft, antique and textile shops, as well as a lot of local restaurants. The Sarawak Plaza shopping centre is a short walk away as well. HV's restaurant is ok by hotel standards, with a reasonable range of local and international foods at affordable prices - I paid about 30 Ringitt for a rice / fish dish and 2 beers in the 1 night I ate there. The HV website advises that they have a bar/pub - this is located directlyt next to reception, but please be aware that it is a karaoke bar that fires up at about 4PM - it is VERY loud, and not the kind of place you can relax and chat with your companionb with a cold drink after a hot day exploring. But right next door is the Club 99 which is quet until about 9PNM when the locals start arriving. And next to the Club 99 is a local restaurant called 'Johnnos Place' - great food at cheap local prices, so you don't have to venture very far from HV to eat or drink. HV offers free wifi connection to guests, and there is an internet computer available in the business centre at reception. As this is the only computer, you may have to queue for it. price is a reasonable 5 Ringitt for 30 mins or 8 Ringitt for an hour. All up, the Harbour View is a well located and clean hotel that won't break the bank for a stay. I would r

Affordable place. I did indicate a non-smoking room during my booking but the room that I got only level 1 had a very strong smoke smell plus some guest threw a cigarette butt from the upper level and it landed on the awning/roof outside the room window. The basin and shower probably need maintenance, as the hot water coming out of the tap was crazy hot or way too cold. Good location as the nearby CITYONE mall has a cinema (movie tix priced @ RM11). To the south of the hotel past the Volvo showroom, has premier 101 food center thats get very lively at night, couple of karaoke lounge and bars. Highly recommend footsiieQ reflexology but best to whatsapp or call them in advance.

A work related trip flew us to Sibu and stayed at the hotel. Arrived in the evening and thankful that check in was a breeze - and got upgraded to another room was a bonus. The Kingwood is one of the big (earlier) hotels in Sibu so it us showing its age. The room was spacious with the usual amenities and the view - overlooking the river - gives one the idea of how busy this riverine town is. Breakfast spread was good even if a bit limited and during the fasting month, it is offered at 4.30 am for the Muslim travellers, which is always a good business practice. It also have a fitness centre but do check with the reception on the operating hours. Sibu town is walkable from the hotel and one can sample the culture of the Foochow settlers as well as a variety of local delicacies as shops, food courts and the local market its just within a 10 minutes walk radius from the hotel.

we had a nice room with a splendid view of the Sarawak river looking across at the impressive state legislative building. recommend a trip on the river to take the best photographs. Hotel staff were nice and friendly hotel very clean. we used all 3 restaurants on our visit,the Chinese being our favorite for taste,and price.The buffet restaurant served a very good selection of food to suit everybody's taste.The only fault we had was with the steak restaurant the lamb we both order was poorly cooked and raw,free fruit as a consolation was offed but a hotel like the Hilton should be able to cook meat properly.Still a very nice holiday and a lovely pool.

Place to eat nearby: MacD ( 5 mins walk, just around the corner of Tun Jugah ) KFC ( 3 mins walk just opposite the hotel ) RJ Ayam Bakar ( 5 mins walk ) 7 Eleven few blocks behind the hotel ( 5 mins walk ). Nearby attractions: Cat statues 5 min walk. Waterfront Esplanade (5-10 mins walk). Topspot Seafood Centre is a food paradise for seafood lover ( 10 min walk). For souvenirs you can head down Chinatown/ India St/ Gambir Rd ( 20 mins walking ). You can use Uber in Kuching if you're lazy to walk or rent the cheapest car (Viva/Myvi) for you to get around the town and go somewhere else (Damai Beach/ Semenggoh Nature Reserve/Mt Santubong/). I would say i love this boutique concept. Its beautiful and walking distance to the mall and famous sarawak laksa n nasi lemak just beside this hotel. Opposite there is lots of chillout cafe. Hope you can maintain your hotel well. Will definitely stay again

I longed to visit Kuching and found Jinhold S. Apt. the location of residence and point of departure to visit Sarawak. It is located near a market of various needs. The staff are helpful and cooperative. If I visit Kuching again, I will select Jinhold for a residence. With my regards to you all.

This is first time staying in Win Hotel and I can say that this hotel surpassed RH Hotel in terms of environment and cleanliness. Judging from the size of my room, the price is relatively cheap. I have few suggestion could make this hotel the best hotel in Sibu. 1) Toiletries are okay (body shower gel, shampoo, dental care) - should include cotton bud and sanitary bag as well. 2) Mini fridge - This is a great saviour for us who loves cold drinks. 3) A mini convenience store at the lobby would be great - refer to klia2 Tune Hotels lobby. Overall, Win Hotel memang Win! The decorator should be given the compliment for designing a great place to stay. Really love the Atrium where the giraffe is located. Simple yet beautiful.

I will rate this hotel 8.5/10. The facilities are simply so awesome. The only thing I regretted was only stay for one night. Frankly speaking, I seldom give so high rate for such hotel as the hotel really make me feel so comfortable. The first step I stepped in to the lobby, I felt grand and with the friendly receptionist provides efficient service, I got my room key very fast. The room was so big (standard room), and able to see the nice view of Miri town. Besides, I love the their room bathroom as it's clean and tidy. One more thing that make me feel so delighted was they actually provides 4 pillows (2 types of pillow which one type is harder and another is softer). Variety is very important for customers. Moreover, beside the hotel you can find a lots of pubs for you to chill out with your pals. Of course, there's a lots of hacker stall nearby. I missed the Sarawak "Gan Mian" very much.

we arrived at damai puri at 11.15am in the morning having taken an overnight flight from melbourne, australia.we were aware that check in was not until 3pm, however the kind and friendly reception staff invited us to look around the resort for a short while, as our room would be ready at 12 noon (which it was). shortly after we had checked into our room, a refreshing welcome drink was delivered. after settling into our room we ventured to the resort's swimming pool (largest i have ever seen)! taking a couple of shady lounges overlooking the south china sea. being equatorial, the temperature and humidity in sarawak is always very high, however every afternoon saw the arrival of a lovely breeze which made laying in the shade quite pleasant. the resort's two restaurants both offer lovely food delivered by friendly smiling staff. the prawn umai and sarawak luksa dishes in elements restaurant were excellent. we stayed at damai puri for 11 nights and enyoyed our stay thoroughly, however as the resort is about an hour away from the closest city (kuching) my only negative comment is that there are no alternative dining options, just the two resort restaurants. even though these both offered great food as did the pool bar cafe and room service, it would have been good to have other dining options,given our stay was for 11 nights. the staff were quite surprised at the length of our stay, and we were treated very well, most people only stay a maximum of one week at damai puri, which would be due to its remote location. the spa centre offers great massages, and there are also non motorised water sports (kayaking) at the beautiful beach in front of the resort. overall a very friendly relaxing resort with good value for money.

the parkcity is definitely the best hotel in bintulu and so far, the best hotel we have stayed at in the whole of borneo. after the mandarin oriental in kuala lumpur, it is the best hotel we have stayed at in malaysia. their attention to detail in the guest rooms is great; from the towels to the bedding, the toiletries and the slippers, everything was great. the quality and range of the food in the restaurant was very good, easily meeting european tastes, but the asian foods were standout. we liked it s much we have booked their sister hotel in miri for a christmas break - i just hope is is able to meet the high standards shown by their bintulu hotel.

Enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was large and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Only minus marks was that it is a bit far the river from and the shuttle was not always running. Taxis are good and easy to get though. Also wifi was a bit slow. Finally must just say that the people of Kuching are the friendliest and most helpful we have met on travels in SE Asia. Sarawak is a special place!
