The property is one the best on the island highlighted with the best pool and beach bar. The rooms are simple but modern with all the standard items you expect from the States. However it’s time they did some updates and repairs. The staff is friendly and helpful. The weather in July was hot as expected and it hardly rained over the 5 days we were there. The surf was small but good for beginners.

Siargao is one the best islands that I have been to, no doubt! It almost feels like you're not in the Philippines. The turquoise waters, the almost gold sands of the beaches, the adventures which I would not have experienced in any other beach paradise and most importantly, the people of Siargao. You guys are the best! Very friendly and helpful, also, the food that you've prepared for us are the best! I've been out of the country for 3 long years and this was the best welcoming feast! Siargao Island Villas is the best hotel to stay in, in my opinion. I like how clean the room is whenever we get back from our adventures. Fresh linens, fresh towels! Oh so good! Plus you can visit their famous Indonesian restaurant - Warung. Food is great! Especially that Pandan Crepe! That is to die for! When we come back to Siargao we'll definitely book this place again! and again! Beachfront is PARADISE! That's where my girlfriend said YES to me under the moonlight! This is the best place ever!

One of the best hotel locations where you can just walk to explore General Luna establishments. Food pricing is too expensive for the serving size. Acceptable service by the staff especially in the province. Cafe/bar has drinks priced like it were in Manila but very good in taste. The breakfast selection needs to improve by better pricing, serving size or food quality. I once ordered tocino and it was just 3 pcs of small pork strips. Sausage is just 4 slices from a whole sausage which tastes like of not good quality.

Upon our arrival, my friends and I felt the warm welcome from the staff and owners themselves. There was a welcome sign at the main door with our names on it! Resort is by the beach, it's private and quiet. Staff are friendly and nice. The owners, Roman and Ester even gave us a pro bono speed boat ride to Surigao on our check out day since they were heading to the city. It was a very nice gesture, which we very much appreciated. We had a great time in Siargao!!!

From Surigao it's a 90 min drive to Hayanggabon port and then a 30 min transfer by boat. If you're looking for a private transfer, I would recommend getting the resort to organise the van and boat transfer as it is cheaper than organising it yourself. We booked a 6 night stay which was a mistake as once you've been there 3 nights you're ready to leave. The staff are very sweet and helpful but the actual resort is a little tired and shabby. The pool was dirty and very hot. The food was nice but limited to chicken, pork and fish and they kept running out of things like beer and soft drinks. The pier is NOT suitable for anyone with walking problems and getting in and out of the boats is really dodgy. There is virtually no WiFi, possibly the worst WiFi I have experienced in the Philippines. You can get a 4G connection if you stand on the pier but nowhere else which was really annoying. They have a really sweet little dog called Bonga. Overall I would recommend this resort but with reservations

Stayed for 3 nights in one of their 2 bedroom ocean view rooms. My boyfriend’s brother took the main bedroom with gorgeous ocean view and we took the other room with roadside view. The nightly rate was higher than other places I considered booking but it came with a full kitchen where I cooked delicious and cheap seafood fresh from the local market. It’s so close to General Luna and Cloud 9 where we spent most of our time there. Staff was so accommodating. Some tourists from MidEast gave the restaurant staff a hard time over missed breakfast and they handled it well. I saw one of them taking a leak at the beach! Visitors, please be civilized and don’t bring your entitlement attitudes in Siargao. This is a wonderful place full of very friendly locals. Make your stay a good experience for everybody. Thank you awesome staff! We know you’re not paid well enough so we wanted to make sure we didn’t give you trouble during our stay! We will be back!🏄🏾🌊🏝💓

Patrick's is a nice place on the south end of town. It's a little quieter here, but many restaurants and shops within walking distance. A trike ride is 20 pesos per person to cloud 9 and Offshore Bar ( my favorite). We did not have hot water but the air-conditioned and tv worked. You can ask the front desk for fresh towels and linen service/ room cleaning when you leave for a tour but I prefer a little privacy. I had no issues with security or theft. Generally Siargao is a crime free destination. The restaurant at Patrick's has a great breakfast for about 190-250. The pancakes are the biggest and fluffiest I have ever had. It's nice to chill on the beach in one of the many open cabanas and beer and drinks are moderately priced. Scooter rental is 600 here as opposed to 400-500 in town but they have nice helmets and the bikes are new. We booked our tours at Kermit's Resort and on Facebook. Remas Letchon chicken two blocks south is the best, Altrova wood fired pizza 5 minutes north is A1.

Contrary to previous reviews we found the in-room wi-fi was working satisfactorily. Staff directed us to the nearest/fastest boat across the blvd. to our next destination, Siargao Island. We were loaned an umbrella, breakfast was really good, not supurb, but they did cook omelets to order. Loved the ocean view room w/ balcony. Best hotel in Surigao City.

Went to Siargao for sightseeing and food trip. Not really a surfer couple. Location: - Along the Highway - Near the best restaurants and bars - Has a spa adjacent to the hotel Staff: - Very accommodating - Wear the best smiles - Recommends the best things to do in the Island Accommodation: - We got the Villa type of room which is big for the both of us and it was very clean - Great value for money Overall, we had a great time and would definitely be back to Pesangan Surfcamp to explore more of Siargao!

I love the place and the staff. Anita is very approachable. We rented the dormitory room but it’s not really that clean but it’s a good place for friends/ group to stay in. The location is so nice, located near the beach. You can rent a motorbike and drive to Cloud 9 in just 5-7 minutes.

If anyone looks for a place made with HEART and LOVE in absolutely every detail will fall in love with the Sandy Feet Siargao! BIG compliment to the owner, we felt like in a sweet dream the whole stay! -new motorbikes to rent -absolutly amazing villa with so much love in the materials, the decoration the accesoirs the choosen mosaik, woods, pillows, colors, etc. etc. -the organized island hopping -the amazing food from their restaurant partner -“Neneng” and the rest of the staff who explained all you need to know and just made an amazing stay -organized trips (like island hopping with own Sandy Feet boat) -price is more than worth it compared to overpriced “exclusive” hotels around!! we were also in Siargao Bleu and Isla Cabana, and the difference is insane! you pay much more there for a heartless commercial place with greedy managers and “cold” staff! big mistake to book in those places and even leave 1 cent there... - extremly beautiful bathroom, kitchen, couch, lounge, hammocks, etc. - the list goes much longer!! its for people who appreciate things created with love, because it shows in the quality and all the details and what you get from it is pure happiness! big respect and thank you alexandra for creating such a unique place in the philippines, the right people will more than appreciate it! definitly come again! we never met you but stay exactly how you are because only a great person can build up something like this! Ive been to so many countrys and hotels, but if i had to choose a place to stay forever, its definitly the Sandy Feet Siargao!!

Booked this room through Agoda and the superior deluxe room is very spacious. The bed is huge and they have a full body length mirror. They also have a comfortable hammock with the refrigerator in the balcony. You can also hang your clothes outside. We stayed here for 3nights,4days and they have room service every day. They have very accommodating and friendly staff. Bam,Roro and we missed to ask the name of the other girl who opens the restaurant in the morning, ☺️ thank you girls for making our stay convenient and affordable. You assisted us with the scooter, airport transfers, prepared our breakfast, and got us our surf instructors who were very approachable and kind as well. (Toptop and Mark, thanks for teaching us.) Also, they have good customer service online. Zirk, the one who replies to my emails, is very responsive and detailed with their services. Thank you all for making our stay smooth and worth it! We will definitely come back! Siargao is the best.

If you're looking for a place to relax, away from the hustle of the crowds of G. Luna, this is the place for you. It's a good 30 minutes away from Cloud 9 by tricycle (best if you rent your own bike). It's best for some peace and quiet. The staff are friendly and the food is good.

Love this hotel! Clean rooms and nice staff. I hope Parkway can maintain their good standards. I will definitely stay here again! One of the best hotel in Surigao Del Norte.

We decided to shorten our stay (not much to do in Siargao) and Enrique agreed to refund the extra days we had booked in advance. Turtle Surf Camp do not serve food, but there are plenty of places around - Buddhas and Mama Grill are the best. Dodoy is a good surfing instructor, the atmosphere in Turtle Surf Camp is really laid back and relaxed. The shower in our room didn't work, but they're looking into it, that was the only complain from our side.

I like the place very much, especially the "tambayan" area at the middle where you can chat along with other guests. Aside from that, it is very near to cloud 9. And the best of all, you have nothing to worry about the toilets.They have plenty with a high pressure of water!!! And of course,not to forget the swedish owner.He was soooooooo niiiiiiice!!! Definitely, I will stay here again when i come back..Hopefully by next year 😍😊

I looooved Amihan. It was so conveniently located that my friend and I could just walk to nearby places to eat, drink, or even go to Cloud 9! I love d it. The people were great too, they gave us lots of good recos and we were able to rent a motorbike with them too :)

First impression was a bit hesitant, from a distance it looked very nice with a very good location. But when you looked closer, small cracks appeared everywhere. A bit like Downton Abbey's countess Violet Crawley, an old classy lady with wrinkles. And when you get to know her, she´s awesome! The staff is very friendly, the kitchen excellent. You have a wide variety of breakfast to choose from, and it is very well cooked. The sunday lunch buffet is something you shouldn´t miss. The swimming pool is clean and lay beautiful with a view of the sea and the beach. They have a lifeguard by the pool so the kids can swim safely. The hotel needs a restoration, but if you can live with small cracks and wrinkles, this is the best place to stay in Surigao.

Sorry it took us so long to write a review! We had an amazing stay at Kokai Resort. The owner Sandy was friendly and super accommodating! We booked everything through Sandy (day trips, transportation), and if he wasn't around, Gail (owner) was always there if we needed anything. The bungalow itself was huge! Could easily fit 5. Although Wifi wasn't available in the room, it would reach our deck so we could sit on the patio at any time to use it. Bathroom was clean, as well as the bungalow. The aircon was pretty good and would cool the whole place down. The beach that it's located on isn't the best for swimming but is nice to stroll on. Located close to a popular disco, 20 min walk to cloud 9, and 5 minute walk to mama's grill (popular bbq joint). Transportation can be easily arranged for anywhere you need to go. Motorcycles are also available for rent on request. If you're looking to stay in an affordable place and aren't too picky about being so close to cloud 9, then this is your place! The staff are super friendly and accommodating and the bungalows are private and clean. I stayed here with my boyfriend and I can say without hesitation that if I were to make another trip, this is where I would stay! Lindsay and Adam Vancouver, Canada

First time to go to Siargao and I had the best experience ever! The place might be a little far from all the "happenings" but the resort staffs were kind enough to tour us around on a motorcycle. Plus its not hard for your to go places in Siargao as there are motorcycle you could rent or could take you anywhere. ;) I only book my flight and hotel and I have no itinerary when I took this vacation with my cousin. I chose this resort as they have good reviews and they didn't disappoint! :) Jess, MacMac and Mary Ann are the best staff as they were all kind enough to help us figure out places to go and visit. :) Jess even went out his way and toured us around Siargao's tourist spots the entire day during his day-off. And take note, did he didn't ask or demanded for any "fee" and was even hesitant to take the amount we gave him as he said he just wanted the guest to enjoy Siargao in its full extent. They treat their guest like a family and their service is superb - probably way better than the 5 star hotels that I've tried! ;) Lastly the food they serve is delicious and the serving is generous! We had some left overs that they heated for the next day! Lol Highly recommended for travelers to book this resort - value for money and outstanding service! :)

Great value for money and right on the beach front. We booked to stay here for a couple of nights and ended up staying almost a week. Mark the owner is really chilled out and nice to sit and chat with him about the area. It is obvious he has put a lot of work into the hotel and the staff that work there are really friendly. Food was good and portions massive and the beer is cheap. Hot water and AC all working. WiFi a little intermittent but this is the same at all places on the island as the WiFi comes through satellite (dongles). Overall we were really relaxed in our stay and would definitely stay here again / recommend the place. You’ll struggle to find better value for money in the area.

Ideal hotel location for Surigao city and Gasaino Mall. Work in progress, but not intrusive. Swimming pool a added bonus. Free breakfast but basic food. A few minor repairs needed in room, like loose tap in bathroom and shower not brilliant, but just minor and weren't a problem. Cost to buy a replacement door lock card a bit expensive at 300php. Make them from thicker unbreakable plastic! Accidentally split ours while in my back pocket! All in all would stop here again

One of the best places to stay when you.re in Siargao. Was travelling with my siblings and their family and we all enjoyed our stay there. The place is quiet with only 5 or 6 rooms which means less people, less crowds. The staff did a magnificent job in covering all our needs from arranging habal2 rides, BingGo bookings, cooking and preparing the delicious food, etc. They (Raphael, Jorgie, and Venus the owner) were just amazing! Note that there is no beachfront though.

Siargao Paraiso Resort is a beautiful resort strategically positioned on Siargao Island. From the first moment you are met by the Paraiso staff you know you are in for a extraordinary holiday. I didn't quiet know what to expect and am pleased to say that the beautiful photo's and video you see online do not do the place justice as its simply amazingly beautiful. The staff provide you with luxury 5 star service making you feel like its your own tropical beachside paradise. The chef create's the menu daily depending on what is freshest and seasonal at the market that day, along with your personal tastes and preferences. We enjoyed a wonderful variety of fresh shellfish, seafood, chicken, pork and accompanied by salads and vegetables grown in a organic garden and the freshly squeezed fruit juices were one of the highlights for me and my family. If your'e looking for a place to relax and rejuvenate , Siargao Paraiso Resort is all that and more.

Hidden Island is a perfect place to stay in Agus Grandes, Socorro. The view from our room which was at the top of hill was simply breathtaking you can spend the whole day watching the ocean or the islands around the hotel. Its far from the airport or the mainland but a perfect getaway..i♥it there

Me and my boyfriend visited Tarzan's for 3 days. We wanted some pristine and secluded place to stay, fronting the ocean. Bucas Grande seemed a great idea, after we visited quite busy Siargao for few days. Tarzan's is located in the East Bucas Grande. Reachable only by boat. No motorbikes or cars allowed there, only a little village with few cottages nearby. No noise. Only the ocean and the jungle. The locals are very friendly. Tarzan's Beach Resort offers a simple accommodation in stunning surroundings with lovely and welcoming hosts. The owners Chaz & Jennifer did their best to make us feel just like at home. Jennifer is a great cook and every meal she served was really fresh & tasty - starting with delicious breakfast omelette, finishing with amazing crabs in coconut milk and baked squid. Everything very reasonably priced. Chaz gave us lots of tips for exploring the neighbourhood and arranged boat cruises around surrounding islands. Chaz is American, Jennifer speaks good English. The cottages have simple interior. They are supplied with fan, mosquito net, toilet and running water shower. Each cottage is supplied with a hammock and safety lock. There is also a shower outside, great for washing off the sand. Don't expect luxury - it's very decent jungle cottage accommodation at a decent price in most picturesque beachfront surrounding you could ever imagine. Jungle only a few steps away. The cottages are located literally on the beach. Expect being woken up each day by a beautiful scenic sunrise over the Pacific ocean. We were the only tourists on the whole island during our stay. The place it not touristic. We had the beach entirely to ourselves. Getting there is easy. Hosts can arrange comfortable and reasonably priced boat transfers from Dapa (port in Siargao). You just need to contact them in advance via SMS. If you are looking for a true paradise getaway you can't get better than Tarzan's. 10/10 experience Have a nice stay, Monika & Pete

My partner and I booked a beachfront room for 5 days and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The room was very big with a modern bathroom and an amazing terrace overlooking the ocean. Waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise on the sea was priceless. The vibe of the entire resort was very chill and friendly and the food yummy and in generous portions. There's also a few hammocks right in front of the private beach that worked as magnets to me. Big shout out to Rico and the entire staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We booked the island hopping tour, a surfing lesson and rented a scooter all through them and it all worked out great! I only wish I had booked our stay for a few more days :(

I was lucky to get a reservation at the very peak time of the season (my friends weren't). Upon arrival, we were welcomed warmly, "Oh hello ma'am! Welcome! We've been expecting you since yesterday!", which surprised me a bit since my reservation was on the date of my arrival. But I just take it that it is an "island thing", wherein dates and time are not that big thing. Then, when they learned that I was with my two teenagers and two other friends, they assigned us to their biggest room, and we only paid for 1 extra bed. Their big bed can fit 3-4 adults! And their bathroom is sooooo large! The porch was a welcome site... so restful especially watching the full moon at night. The only downside is that the breakfast doesn't really open at 7am as mentioned. It's island life, so 7am usually becomes 8am. Another thing, when we mentioned that we check out at 3am to catch the early boat for Surigao, they just told us to leave the key in the room. They didn't bother to check if towels or other linens may come missing, so trusting.

This serene little property just off Tourism Road is ideal for travelers looking for some peace and quiet, while still being close to the action in the heart of General Luna. The best part is, you have your very own piece of beach front, complete with a hammock under a Talisay tree. Super chill place. Don't worry about the beach dogs, they're as friendly as the locals. :) And Barrel Bar, where you pick up your room keys (and you can also settle your room bill there), is a short walk away and offers a mean eat-all-you-can breakfast for just 350 pesos.
