Traveling to Vietnam? Find Thanh Hoa hotels

A very nice resort in Sam son, near Thanh Hoa. We stayed there for the last 3 night. Very nice and quiet. Buffet breakfast is very good with diverse selection. Dinner is a la cart; and not so good. We had to wait for 15 min to get a Pho soup. To eat outside we had to get the electric car to go to the gate and take a taxi to town which is quite far away. There are multiple pools at the resort. There is only one warm water indoors but not publicized There is a infinity pool in the Grand hotel section which is quite nice. The hotel has hot sauna and steam room facility near the gym (in Grand Hotel section). in our "Luxury building all the room are ocean view, and the elevator doesn't work. In all, this is real nice resort and we will come back.

The vibe here is unique and peaceful. Van chai provides an indoor and outdoor pool with the vast ocean as its neighbour. The architecture is unique to the many hotels we’ve stayed in. With brick and wood as the main elements. The place has a semi ancient/resort feel to it. The energy is quite and peaceful and the area is full of trees to remind you of nature. The staff are very helpful and friendly and speak good english. Breakfast is provided which only makes things better. Lastly, with everything that comes with this resort it is very worth the price.

View biển cũng ổn, nhưng biển không tắm được, bù lại bể bơi khá rộng rãi và tiện nghi. Điểm trừ lớn nhất là buffet sáng không phong phú và nhiều món đơn giản, dễ làm. Nếu là 5 sao, FLC nên chú tâm vào cả menu và đồ ăn uống của khách

Muong Thanh is one of the best hotel chains in Vietnam. And this Muong Thanh in Thanh Hoa has a much cheaper price than other Muong Thanh hotels in other cities. I definitely would make a reservation at this hotel next time I come back to Thanh Hoa.

Khách sạn khá ok với hai bể bơi. Tuy nhiên, bể bơi ở gần biển hơi bẩn. Khách sạn hoi xa trung tâm nên phù hợp với gia đình đi xe riêng hoặc cần nơi yên tĩnh. Nước biển đục. Bãi biển khá bẩn với nhiều rác. Buổi chiều tắm dễ bị đá làm đau chân. Buổi sáng khi thuỷ triều xuống thì tắm thích hơn. Đồ ăn có thể ra chợ ở bãi biển (buổi sáng) mua về thuê làm. Giá theo cân (20-30k/cân) + 200k công phục vụ. Nói chung tạm ổn. Nhà hàng thì ra Thanh Dinh cách đó 200m: ngon, bổ, rẻ.

The hotel is very grand, beautiful design. The room is spacious, clean, functional. The wifi is very fast, very stable and very strong. However, the building has construction design flaw. Every time the staff moves table/chair on the 10th floor, my can hear it cloud from my 8th room. I moved to 6th next day. The noise still there but less. The echo seems travels throughout the building. So make sure you ask for room on the 5th floor !

I didn't expect much from my trip to Thanh Hoa but it turns out to be a really good one. The stay at Lam Kinh hotel is very comfortable. The room is spacious, clean with very comfortable bed and well-equipped. The staff is very nice and helpful. Everything is good and I don't have anything in mind to complaint. There's just one thing to notice that the hotel is about 15km from the beach, thus it'll be a little bit inconvenient if you don't have a private car. The road commuting from the hotel to the beach is in good condition.

Facilities are nice.. Price you will pay is worth it .. ambiance is good and they deserve to be 5 star Hotel..

For me, the location was ideal as i wanted to get out on the road to the next destination the following morning and not get stuck in the city, it's also very cheap to get a taxi into the city to have wander around. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was ok. It's all a bit dated but couldn't complain too much considering the price.

Place is great and staff is great. but we had a poweroutage, and during the 2 hrs we heard nothing from the staff, no flashlight, so no way to find the toilet or the office. without the risk of falling 15m down from different edges, But there was generator power on the other side of the lodge, So the bar could keep selling drinks. The least they could have done was to go to the rooms with flashlights, water and information. next day it was like it never happened, Power outage can happen but it is the way you keep your guests safe that counts, here no one cared

Relaxing after a long, long bus trip from Xam Neua in Lao before another long bus trip. Better to break the journey in Thanh Hoa rather than have to do a night trip on a bus to make connections like many other travelers in this area seem to prefer to do.

My boyfriend and I were just stopping over in Thanh Hoa for one night on our way to Vinh, so we decided to stay at this hotel based on its central location and positive reviews. We booked a standard double room and when we arrived at the hotel the receptionist confirmed that it was a double room we wanted. But when we got to our room, it was a twin room. The room itself was okay, it didn't have a window but was quite spacious and at first glance seemed quite clean. However, as we started to unpack I discovered that part of the floor, wall and table were teeming with ants. This, combined with the bed situation, prompted us to go back to reception and request to change to a double room. The receptionists spoke very, very little English (which I did find unusual for a 3 star hotel) but they eventually managed to communicate to us that a double room would cost an additional 70, 000 VND, which we agreed to pay. The double room was much larger and ant-free. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was also large. The bathroom initially appeared a bit grubby, but this turned out to just be some wear and tear rather than dirt. The following morning we went down to the restauarant for breakfast. The food on offer was limited and unappealing, but what made it entirely unpalatable was that most of what was on offer was completely crawling with ants. The bread, the fruit, the fruit juice and coffee were infested. Vietnam's climate means that it is almost impossible to entirely eradicate insects, and having lived here for almost two years I am no stranger to ants, which are particularly persistent. But this was completely unacceptable for an hotel, and the staff didn't seem to be remotely fazed by the problem. I have stayed in countless hotels and guesthouses of varying standards during my time in Vietnam and never encountered this extent of infestation. I would not recommend staying here - there is no shortage of alternaive accommodation available in Thanh Hoa.

We had a great stay here with comfort and satisfaction. The hotel is elegant with artitistic hall and modern facility. I booked twin rooms and was unexpectedly happy with two Queen-size beds per each room. 2 bottles of water are complimented to guests every day. We love the pools (one for toddlers and one for adults), which were lighted beautifully in the evening. The staffs were so helpful, considerate and kept smiling always. Breakfast was good with 4 choices of meal, unlimited apple juices, tea or coffee. Above all, it is a nice surprise to enjoy all these excellent services at such reasonable price. Great hotel!

It always makes me sad and I see that someone once invested quite a bit of money and effort into a place, and to it go down the drain with time. This hotel probably had its moments of glory, but these days are gone. Most of the staff was very nice and friendly, but once in a while, you come across that grumpy and bossy person that just doesn’t seem to give a ___. Looked the supervisor. I pity the receptionists because they were so nice. The room was a mixture of nice and awful. The bed was soft, the sheets were clean and included a nice thick comforter. Yet, besides the bed laid on the carpeted floor old cigarette butts, frequent burn marks, and the occasional unidentified particles. Not to mention some blood stains on the wall. Some of the bathroom appliances were falling apart, but it was overall clean enough not to care. You could tell that the hotel was once very nice, but it has been unattended for too long. Food at the adjacent restaurant was good.

Staff was perfect, I could share their dinner as it was very low season (I was the only client that day). Amenities are great, dorm rooms fit 6 people, lockers are available. Showers & restrooms are the best I had in Vietnam, warm water. Location is great to explore the northern parks coming from the south. Highly recommended.

The Than Hoa Hotel is not in an good shape anymore. The room was set up with furniture from the 70s. The bedlinnens were used ore looked like it, with yello spots on it. The windows couldn`t really be closed and a heater was missing at all - the night was freezing cold!

We got a taxi from Thanh Hoa for the 20km trip for an affordable 270 000 dong through what seemed like hundreds of acres of flat farmland. Suddenly we were surprised by an enormous complex standing alone on the edge of a small village. Entering it was a surreal experience as there were probably 60 - 80 contemporary bungalows that all appeared empty. It was several minutes before we saw another person near the reception. The restaurant area was clean and the food decent. The accommodation on the other hand was stunning, our room was massive, it was immaculately clean, light and airy and had new furniture throughout. The beach was a few steps away and beautiful. I don't know why the resort was empty as English was not understood well by the staff but this hidden gem won't be empty as word of mouth spreads as it is beautiful and looks to be improving further with the ongoing building works.

It was quiet as most of the staff did not speak english. It had everything I needed for the night's stay. Although one staff member harassed me about getting a massage, which I didn't think was good.

A pleasant stay but nearly impossible to communicate with the staff because their knowledge of English was minimal.

This hotel is overrated. They need improve so much for 3 stars. The shower is bad although in vip room with high rate, it seem you stay in cheap hotel, weak water, wait so long for warm water, lacking of towel... Not recommended.

The hotel is completely disorganized. Looks like all the staff went on vacation during the public vacations. They don't understand their job. It took more than one hour to check in. The "restaurant" is actually a canteen where you walk on the remains of the previous customers' meal. Very very far from four stars. The cleanliness of the room leaves to be desired as well with plenty of fingermarks all over the TV and hair left around on the floor. The amusement park in the street is also very noisy at night and the windows are not enough to block its noise. Ah! The air conditioning does not work if you close the curtains as they are in front of it... On the good side the hotel is in front of the beach which, as is customary in Vietnam, has a lot of rubbish on it...

From location to rooms, this is the hotel in Thanh Hoa to stay. Near eateries and walkable to mall as well as shops. The views in the higher floors are spectacular.

A bit disappointed in design. Don't understand why they design such small rooms in such a large hotel. Fortunately they have good gym and pool to compensate.
