It’s the best hotel in My Tho. Why not book it? Had my wedding here and stayed in the suite. It was absolutely enormous compared to most hotels’ suites. My family and friends stayed in the deluxe doubles which were very big as well. Everything head to toe was awesome. I wish the cocktail and coffee bar on the roof was open later. Staff was great. Thanks!

This was a great place to stay for a long weekend. The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was great for hanging out. We were travelling with our dog and the staff were really friendly towards him (can be a problem with some hotels). One downside is I did think the tours were overpriced. I think you could get the same, much cheaper by looking around and not going with the hotel. Overall though, a good place.

one of our best stays in vietnam by far!!! fabulous facilities and absolutely gorgeous rooms.. no need to do a mekong delta tour, a full river and canoe tour is included in the price.. also includes cooking classes, breakfasts, 5 course lunch and dinner, guided cycling and market tours, etc. the only thing i recommend is to pre-organize transfers!!! we travelled via private taxi, which cost us return, and the taxi driver got lost and dropped us in a random back street.. the hotel will organize a private transfer return for only for a 4 hour drive.. if only we knew this earlier.

This hotel is the best that My Tho has to offer for the money. It is not a year old and the facilities have not been destroyed yet. The breakfast buffet is very good with Vietnamese food as the main choices. Excellent Vietnamese coffee. The Karaoke music down on the street is extreme but doesn't last all night. There is a coffee shop on the 8th floor but hot when I visited as I don't think there was air conditioning up there so I didn't stay I just looked.

We had a great time and enjoyed the life on the island. The personal was full of attention toward us and Yen was an amazing guide.

At first, I was staying in the 4 th hotel of Ben Tre, truly not international 4* star, but had the worst experience with their private tour to discover the area. I then decided to give up my room and contacted the owner of Island lodge to find me a driver in order to join his place for a night, asking if I could have a chance to really discover nature and day life of the Mekong. What a marvelous change ! Everything was so perfect and I had a chance to have a private 3 h and half tour with Khay, one of his fantastic employee, to finally really discover the area - and for a 1/3 of the price charged by the previous hotel. At Island Lodge, you are treated more as a friend, and from the HUGE perfectly clean pool, to the food, to the room, to the garden, to the bar, to the spa, or the sauna, everything is above expectations ! I tried all ! Everywhere you do look is just beautiful and perfect... I of course then decided to stay more... And will be back again as soon as possible ! There are so many options to discover this part of Vietnam from here ! Thanks to Michel and all his fantastic team ! I am very thankful for all delicate attentions I got from all of you, including Giaó ! This young waitress's dream is to be a photographer one day so just ask her to take picture of you, she will, with her lovely smile, and she is so talented ! Negative point : just fear I won 3 more kilos with the Chief specialties ! Well, it is my fault as all is delicious... Brilliant place just to spend a few lazy, or not so lazy days. Grab a bicycle and explore the quiet country back roads. Friendly locals call out hello as you ride by or laugh at your wobbly bike riding. Food is great. Best spring rolls I’ve ever had. Accommodation basic but comfortable.

The hotel is nice, located some minutes by bicycle from the floating market. It has restaurant that's serving good local and western food for a decent price. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You can borrow bicycle, rent motorbike for cheap price and they can help you arrange buses or give you tips.

we stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the my tho-ben tre area. given we stayed in guesthouses and hotels all around vietnam, we would definitely recommend the song tien annex as one of the best values and hidden gems! a must-stay if you're in the area and need western comfort at reasonable prices. pros: - very accommodating and friendly staff - free and secure parking for motorbikes - motorbike rentals available (although it will be much more expensive and have less selection than hcmc or bigger cities where motorbike rentals are more common and competitively-priced) - rooms are very spacious, modern and extremely clean - bathroom fixtures are modern and very clean - good amenities: a/c, lots of hot water, big tv, lots of storage space - nice view of the river - reasonably priced cons: - wireless internet routers are only on odd-numbered floors. we stayed on the 2nd floor and got little-to-no reception. had to go downstairs in the lobby for full internet speeds.

We enjoyed 3 nice nights at this quiet Mekong abode. The bed was ultra comfortable and we also liked the partially outdoor bathroom. Food is decent and they sell Corona and Peroni beer at a fair price. Soon the place will have a small spa so that will add to the overall experience. My only real suggestion is more artwork and decor in the rooms. They are perfectly comfortable and functional, just a bit Spartan.

Wu is the best host. Not only can he tell jokes, he is a great cook too – the meals are delicious. We planned to stay only 1 night at his hotel, but we enjoyed it so much, that we extended it to 4 days after all and this must have been one of our best choices we made during our stay in Vietnam. Wu knows his region very well and can help you plan scooter tours around Mekong. Wu organises also private boat tours with onboard hammocks, cruising around the towns channels, visiting pagoda, floating market, tasting “happy water”  and many more. Definitely worth doing. The hotel itself is well located, just outside the town on the Mekong’s bank in peaceful area. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with large bathrooms. All amenities are there – AC, well equipped fridge, fan, king size bed, etc. All in all very good value for money. Very much recommended!

I have been living in Vietnam for 10 years now so have stayed in my budget hotels here. For the price, this hotel is very good. Very clean, aircon worked fine. Friendly staff. Great location. When I see people complaning about bugs in their reviews, I've not didn't see any during my stay... but if you do, do not forget, this is a tropical country, so, sometimes you might see a bug or two. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Thanks.

Old & dirty hotel. The door of my room has a big hole and it can be easily open from outside. The balcony of the 2nd floor is weak. If someone leans on it, it's quite dangerous. There are better hotels at this price (350k/night). The only pro is the river, the food at the restaurant (a bit expensive) and the staff.

I've stayed at the Song Tien Hotel twice . It's easy to locate if your lost due to its location near the various waterways and Lakes . The beds are large and comfortable and the bathrooms are large and clean . The staff are not intrusive, they all seem to be very friendly . They have a good undercover parking area . If you have a decent bike you will often find it in the large reception area in the evening! The guy that looks after the motorbikes is great . He even sussed out a better way to stash my luggage for the return trip and I'm a seasoned Motorcycle tourer . One has to walk up the road in the morning to the Cuu Long Hotel for breakfast but it's worth it! The breakfast is a buffet style with a decent selection . Take your own butter and tomato sauce sachets however unless you Know the basics in Viet . The lift is amusingly slow but the staircase is nice and wide when descending to terra firma in the morning . My Tho prices are about half that of HCMC . I recommend this hotel .

When traveling, I want rest after a long day of site seeing or business discussions. A place to relax away from nightlife and the hustle and turmoil of the big city. This wonderful quaint hotel offers individual bungalows in a secluded, jungle type area that's not too remote but just enough to give it that castaway feeling. It is beautiful, affordable, accommodating, accessible by ferry from more than one direction, which adds to it's charm. Great spot for the soloist, family, or couple. Very romantic, bringing tears to my eyes, wishing my wife were with me. I guarantee this adds to the adventure of Vietnam.

I think this would have been a magnificent hotel back in the day it retains some of its old charm and is a reasonable place to stay Tan An is not really a tourist destination I stayed here because my girlfriend has family in the area The hotel has a great open air cafe on the top floor I will stay here again

For the price you pay, this hotel is great value. The rooms and clean and big complete with mini bar and aircon. It was an easy walk to the pier to do sightseeing tours and to the main street where due to new year, there was an amazing display of flowers. My Tho is overlooked by travellers and passed through simply to do a river tour and move on. Therefore it can be difficult to communicate with locals as they do not speak english. The staff were very friendly at the hotel as were the local people I met, however as stated..did not speak great english. The only main downside to this hotel is that there is no restaurant or food available so you need to go looking yourself..but hey..that can be an adventure in itself.

The food in the hotel restaurant is very delicious and for a great price. The rooms are clean. Only in the evening ant throught the night there is a lot of rates running and playinng on the roof of the room. But don´t worry, they are far away from you. The staff is very friendly.

A stones throw from the river, this place is basic without being uncomfortable. Right next to a busy cafe and facing the main road, the room was fairly noisy. Not a problem if you are used to travelling with ear plugs. A pretty good breakfast place is right across the road and some tasty (and cheap) noodle shops nearby. Their are plenty of independent boat operators around wanting your business, haggle hard for a good deal.

The Room we stayed for 2 nights is reasonable size. The hotel and the room is clean. We have 3 reasonable size beds. The bathroom and the water are clean. We enjoyed our stay. The minus points are 1)the windows are small, we can really see the outside! maybe this is due the architech of the building !? 2)the other minus point is the vent in the bathroom is extremely noisy. Of course we shut the bathroom door to cut out the noise.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ba Duc Ancient House. The hotel is actually a wonderful homestay. The guest area is in a building behind the family home which is a beautifully maintained traditonal house. The main portion of the house has the tradtional ancestor worship cabinets and the grounds are free for guests to wander around. The owner is very willing to give you information about the house. The house is set in fruit orchards and much of the fresh fruit is served at the meals. During our stay we were made to feel very welcome by the family and staff. The owner offered us fishing rods and baits (free of charge) to fish for cat fish in his pond. The evening meal and breakfast were served in the courtyard and the food was lovely. The room was basic but very clean and furnished with lovely wooden items. Air con and hot water worked well. Very comfortable. The hotel is set right on the riverside and is very quiet and peaceful, perfect get away for relaxation, or a change to see vietnam away from the tourist trail. The hotel itself is quite hard to find, i would suggest hiring a boat or private transport from Saigon or My Tho. The owner was able to sort out motorbikes and bus to get us back to My Tho afterwards, but we had some trouble finding it using public transport. Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the Ancient House and would very much recommend this hotel.

Utterly fabulous. The location was great - close to the market with all its sounds and smells, and a short walk to the river. My Tho is worth more than a quick visit and boat trip, although one of its delights was being able to escape other tourists. People everywhere were very friendly, generous and gracious. The hotel room was spotless and roomy. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. Coming donstairs in the morning I would find the owner playing music. The owner was very helpful, pointing out where to get good coffee and find good restaurants. I lost a USB cable and he showed me where to find a replacem. I booked two nights and stayed four. I will return on my way back to HCM.

Cheap stay ! Almost an hour to walk to the city centre or the temple. Great wifi. But no windows and the toilets were clogged.

This is a Vietnamese hotel that is above most hotels in the area for the price. Keep in mind that Vietnamese hotels are on a different plane when it come to star ratings. With this in mind, I would stay here again.

When we arrived, they said the room we booked had a higher price and we had to pay for to say for that room.

The beautiful decorated flat has 2 rooms, an own bathroom and a wonderful balcony with very comfortable chairs wonderful to sit there at any time of the day in the shade of a big tree. Everything was very clean, the bed comfortable and AC and a fridge can be used. The hosts are very helpful and delicious breakfest is included. We stayed 4 nights and did eat 3 delicious dinner on the terrace of the owner. Tony took us to a very intresting boatstour on the mekong river. We used the 2 good bycyles for free to make an intreting excursion recommeded by Tony. As the flat is very nearby the Floating market you have to expect some hours sound very early in the morning on some dayes. we can highly recommend this place..
