CENTRAL GLASGOW ”
Hi, my wife & I travelled to Glasgow for a 5 day break from Derry, Ireland.. We stayed at Rennie Mackintosh hotel- Central station, 59, Union st. This hotel is right in the Center of Glasgow with the whole town at your doorstep, Shops, Bars, Restaurants, Theatres, Cinema. Very clean & the most friendly & helpful staff you could ask for. Donegal Patrick & Neema were most courteous in securing the same room number 325 each vacation. THANK YOU’S BOTH. There is a bar in the hotel with FREE beverage drinks available 24/7, beautifully decorated with a real nice Scottish tartan carpet. This was our third visit this year. Accommodation prices cheap. All you could ask for in your room, On suite, tv, kettle, hairdryer etc. So I recommend strongly a great Central hotel in the heart of Glasgow for your trip.. 5 star rating from my wife & myself. 👌

Excellent Stay”
Excellent Stay in Rennie Mackintosh Hotel in Glasgow. Located just two minutes from the "Union Street" exit of Glasgow Central station, we chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the city centre. The check in was very quick and we were staying on the 3rd floor. NOTE - because of the age of the building, there is no lift, so if you need assistance in carrying bags etc, either have a word with the reception desk or ring them in advance to expect your arrival. It may even be beneficial to request a first floor room. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was included in our rate, but you can choose to not have anything at all / continental breakfast (our rate) or Scottish breakfast. Our continental breakfast was included at £6 pp/day. Scottish cooked breakfast was available for an additional £3pp/day. Rooms cleaned daily and replenished with fresh towels, tv and drinks in room too. Also a very nice lounge + bar is on the first floor.

Great Central Glasgow Hotel ”
This is my second time staying at Rennie Mackintosh Hotel, Central station as a Couple. Husband & Wife. Right in the Centre of Glasgow. So central that everywhere near at hand. Great city for shopping, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, bars & nightlife. Absolutely had a fantastic time & will 100% going back to Renne Mackintosh.. Now this is a listed building so there is No lift.. So if you can’t climb stairs it’s a no no for you. But both my wife & me are nearing the 60 mark, but wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else.. All staff were ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, Big Donegal (Brendan)gentleman & a young lady & young man couldn’t do enough to help you.. Love the Place. Free tea’s, coffees, chocolate drinks & Snacks available 24/7.. Couldn’t bet that.. A bar is also available.. So I have said it all.. Very cheap place to stay.. Well it’s up to you.. Gerard from Ireland.👌

Great location and value for money”
We enjoyed our night at the Rennie Mackintosh. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a budget double room which had all we needed for our nights stay. The bed was comfortable and the room warm on a cold night. The water pressure was rather low making the shower weak. Although on a busy street we heard no traffic noise as the room was on the fourth floor. There is no lift but we were offered help with our luggage. We would stay here again if in Glasgow.

Loved my stay!”
I stopped over at the Rennie Macintosh Hotel for a night whilst passing through Glasgow. I needed something cheap and cheerful, as I was arriving late at the Mainstation and had to get up early to catch the next train. So although the Rennie Macintosh is cheap and perhaps a little frayed and worn around the edges, it was impeccably clean and the staff was very friendly. And of course the location was superb for my trip, as it is only twenty meters from the station. I was lucky, as I had a tiny room out to the back , which was quiet and calm. Will come back! Thank you!

Value for money”
I have stayed in Rennie Mackintosh Central Station many times over the past 4 years. The staff are excellent. Helpful and welcoming. In need of some refurbishment, but clean. Nice fluffy white towels. Close to rail station and inter station bus. Central for shopping.

Good value in a good position with historic connections”
This is a very reasonably priced hotel just a short walk from Central Station and the main shopping Areas (St. Enoch, House of Fraser, Debenhams, and the very splendid Princes Street shopping mall. A great deal of Glasgow is walkable from here and there are very many bus stops on the road outside. Sushi Ya is one of several restaurants in the same block and we enjoyed eating there. I was impressed to see the thoroughness of the deep clean going on in the kitchen as i sat at breakfast one morning.

Excellent city centre location.”
this hotel is in an ideal location for all of glasgows' city centre attractions'.(ie.shopping, restaurants', pubs and night-life). check-in was quick and easy.the room was a good size with a fairly large en-suite bathroom. bedding was very clean, with ample towels available. breakfast was very enjoyable, with a good choice. staff were friendly and efficient. the only down-side was that there only appeared to be one waitress at breakfast, who had to take orders', serve and clear tables'. she did a very good job, but there were a number of occasions' when guests were left standing waiting,as no clean tables' were available. apart from that, i had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to friends' and family.

Great location!”
The hotel was centrally located, just outside Glasgow Central station and a stone’s throw away from Argyle St. There were lots of shops and food option right at the doorsteps of the hotel! The room was as expected - size was standard for such location. Do note, however, due to the centrality of the location, noise from the streets should be expected. Despite that, loud noises can be muffled by closing the windows.

Wonderful”
A gem of a place in a perfect location, hidden behind a modest main street entrance ( albeit classy) on Union Street - a stones throw from Central Station. Friendly , warm, helpful staff; spotlessly clean hotel; wonderful breakfast; lovely rest room/bar next to the reception offering 24 hours free hot beverages; exquisite Mackintosh features spotted in the stairwells, stained glass windows, light shade fittings, wall prints furnishings. Comfortable bed, great power shower. No noise from the streets. Highly recommend !!! I will return and thoroughly recommend .

Excellent Service and Location.”
I highly recommend this hotel. The location is the best thing here, just one min walk from the Glasgow central station. Many tourist attraction is nearby this location. Buchanan Street, George Square, subway, etc. very close to this place. And finally, the staff are very helpful. * If u are Indian and want to have Indian food, this the best place to stay. 5-6 Restaurants are there within 1km radius.

Rennie Mac Hotel”
Staff excellent. Rooms basic but very comfortable and clean. Lounge is a lovely place to relax and meet new people. Excellently located for Main Train Station, Glasgow Central, buses, shopping, walks along the Clyde. Lots of lovely places to eat beside the hotel too. Breakfast whether continental or full Scottish, delicious and lots to choose from.

Historic, a little worn, but so KIND”
Almost hidden by the restoration scaffolding and no lift.... next surprise quick, kind and unsollicited help with the luggage. Yes, the interior is a little worn, but absolutely clean and the staff so kind and and efficient in every situation. They even helped with the police after the theft of my wallet by a pickpocket. The lounge is spacious and comfortable with drinkables available at any time. The situation is excellent, neighbour to Central Station and within walking distance to a number of sights and places of interest. If we come back to Glasgow, this is where we'll stay

Good location in a very busy part of town”
This was a good place for an overnight stay in Glasgow. Adjacent to Central Station. Walking distance to Buchanan Street. I would request a room away from the street to avoid the rowdy revelers we heard at 3am. This went on for over an hour (drums, yelling, loud and drunken conversations). This marred an otherwise pleasant stay. Entrance is inconspicuous and can be missed with the scaffolding that was in front of the hotel. Since it is older there is no elevator, which was part of the charm. Just be aware. The staff was kind and accommodating.

Exceptional”
Stayed here as late arrival into Glasgow and close to Central station.Lovely hotel very comfortable and clean, staff very helpful as no lifts because of age of the building and all rooms up steep stairs! so carried my case for me. Lovely decor really in keeping with the provenance.

Great hotel in a great location ”
Fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was lovely and you had the option of upgrading to a full Scottish Devine. The only criticism I have is the net curtains could have been doing with a wash, other than that brilliant hotel in a central location for exploring Glasgow

Excellent”
Great location, located right in central Glasgow! The only thing that was inconvenient was that there is no elevator. So I had to lug my luggage up and down the stairs. Thankfully the staff on duty was helpful, and took it up for me.

Location that cannot be beaten”
Absolutely fine. I didn't check in until almost 11PM but that was a breeze. Rooms were basic but clean and tidy, breakfast was fine, no problems here, but this hotel is in a perfect location right adjacent to Glasgow Central and for that reason alone i wouldn't hesitate in staying here again or recommending it to others. For a one night stay in the heart of Glasgow at a fair price, this ticks the boxes for me.
