Great hotel staff were excellent had an issue with my room as was very noisy next to staff bathroom. The next day they put me on a high floor and upgraded me great service. Location was great to see most things easy to get grab taxi from hotel.

Location good. Good Service. Night street food along the stretch. Try the Satay at the end of the road, awesome. Massage all along the street, becareful some of them demand tips after finish, up to 50%.

Acceptable”
The location is great, walking distance to the main tourist attractions. The lady whose name is Thom at the reception was very nice and helpful. We’ve booked a family room, the floor was dusted, I saw small cockroach running on the floor. The room was quite small but it’s not a big of a deal since most of Han hotels are all small. Not so much options for breakfast, my kids didn’t like the pancakes.

Home converted to hotel”
Not sure if we can consider this as a hotel as it is more like a home-turned-hotel. There are many mid staircase from entrence to the lift, so be warned if you have heavy luggage. We were not given winter blankets and it was very cold throughout our sleep.

Fantastic Value Hotel ”
This is our second visit to Hanoi, the first being a few years ago when we found that there are many available hotels, but with varying quality. I can honestly say that the Ritz Boutique hotel, while being classed as a budget hotel price-wise, is by far the best hotel we have stayed at, for many reasons: Firstly, the service and friendliness of the staff, led by Thuy, is exceptional. Thuy also is very knowledgeable regarding travels to Sapa and Halong Bay, and can arrange those travels with you. The cleanliness is good throughout the hotel and room that we stayed. The bed in the room is very comfortable and huge! The wifi signal is strong both at our room and at breakfast. The breakfasts are very good, enabling both cooked individual from a menu plus additional many fruits and yoghurt, plus tea and coffee. And finally the location. Located in a quiet side street next to a popular tourist location, close to the Lake in the Old Quarter. Thoroughly enjoyed, and highly recommended. Probably the best value hotel in all my travels around SE Asia!

Hidden Gem”
This was the first hotel I stayed at in Hanoi. The location was great - about 100m to the Cathedral and 500m to the Hoan Kiem Lake - with lots of interesting looking restaurants all around. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was fine, and for the price represented excellent value. I stayed in another more highly-rated hotel a few days later, which cost twice as much, but really was no better.

Exceeded my expectations”
The hotel is charming, located right closed to Hoan Kiem lake in Hanoi Old Quarter. Room was clean and well staffed. Staff were eager to assist, and very welcoming. One night stayed in their deluxe room which was spacious and with super comfortable bed. Their breakfast was very good with lots of fresh fruits. The whole stay was really relaxed and I felt well looked after. Arranged the open bus to Hue with the hotel’s staff and got great bus quality. Very good service

Few times i stayed at this hotel, great location near to Hoan Kiem Lake and old street, walking distance to these area. Surrounding with old building and church, quiet area because not face to main street. Clean and comfortable big room. Friendly staffs. Always my first choice when travel to Hanoi.

Good value in price ranage”
the night manager, as well as the morning manager, are both very kind and helpful with suggestions in clear english. the hotel is considerably fancier that what you will find elsewhere in the old quarter of hanoi. the plumbing fixtures, for example, are very high-end and equal to what we got at one of the luxury hotels earlier this trip in hanoi. room was spotlessly clean. extra blankets, tea service and a pair of bottled waters in room. the room has some minor and fixable faults that would be the same faults at other hotels (but worse) in the old quarter: taped spliced lamp cord on the carpet, hairline crack in door, heater too small for size of the room. (our stay was an unusually cold night for hanoi). overall, the hotel is a fair value for the price and is nicer than cheaper places in hanoi. recommended

Lovely hotel with great staff”
This is a really lovely hotel on a quiet street in the Old Quarter. It's about an easy 10 minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. We arrived late our first evening (about midnight) after a 5 hour flight delay. The staff were very welcoming and upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. The next morning we went on a 2 day trip to Halong Bay. Since we were returning to the hotel, we were able to leave our luggage for our return. Also, the hotel's owner arranged tickets to the Water Puppet Theatre for us.

Brilliant Stay!!!!”
I have had a great stay at Hidden Charm Hotel which is recommended by my friends. Hotel is located in a quite quiet street and very conveninent, get out of hotel to the right to go to the Hoan Kiem lake by few mininutes. I really appreciated by hotel staff's exertion and help to make my stay enjoyably. Their tours are very well-organized too, moreover you can ask them for help to prepare for the whole trip in Vietnam by their reliable reccommendation.

5 star hotel but cheap price. ”
The room is well decorated with boutique style and the hotel service is perfect. We had a free quality breakfast. Toilet and room are always replenished and clean. The staff is always there to help out our inquiries. We book a tour to Sapa with the hotel and it's well organized. The staff are all friendly. We booked a pick up from the airport to the hotel with only 15 dollars per tour and got the way back without delays. We can access to Hanoi famous sightseeing easily by walk. There are many restaurants around by walk. The bed is comfortable and clean. I feel like staying in a 5 star hotel. We do recommend this hotel and will return to stay here for future visit. Great hotel with friendly staff”
I chose this hotel after staying here before. It is a boutique hotel with good size,well appointed rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a great street just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. There are many restaurants in the area offering a great variety of foods from all around the world at reasonable prices. I will stay here again when in Hanoi and recommend it to friends.

Great & quiet street in a busy & "happening" area”
We stayed for 9 nights at this hotel. They were very trusting of us and we in turn trusted them for all our tour needs as well. They were very friendly and the rooms were very big and nice. The location was excellent as was near the Cathedrale and had many restaurants from the Lonely Planet just minutes nearby. The Hoan Kiem Lake was also minutes away.
