Peaceful place for nature lovers”
It was second times staying and we spent 02 nights at the resort. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. If you are looking for the vibrant lifestyle, this is not for you. We chose the deluxe room with high viewing to the river and enjoy the beach front just a walk distance from the room. The restaurant is simple meal prepared then you should ask to reserve food by your needs in advance. Or you can rent a motorcycle or book a taxi going to Ho Tram around 7 km with a lot of seafood choices. We are all happy with such a relax and quite place and surely come back if possible.

River Ray”
Pool wasn't clean. They buried rubbish on the beach. Hard to find as it's actually signed River Ray Estate as opposed to River Ray Ecotourism Resort. Ice creams had melted and been refrozen.

Nice location - restaurant needs improvements”
The river ray resort is beautiful located. Our room was spacious, cozy and had a nice window front facing the lake / river. The restaurant was very limited (especially for vegetarians) and expensive. The included breakfast was only a small Banh mi or Pho - for the standards/price, we expected more.

Peaceful break away from city ”
Perfect break away from the city, 2 hours from Ho Chi Minh City. Me, my daughter and puppy thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Lovely woodland environment by the river and across from a beach, all were dog friendly. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Food is limited but fine for us for 2 nights. I felt totally relaxed the whole time there and my dog loved all the freedom and walks. It’s rustic, don’t expect luxury, but to me that didn’t matter.

Weekend getaway”
The swimming pool is beautiful The view to the river is beautiful The sea is only 100 meters further, is clean and quiet. Perfect! (only 1km from Ho Tram Sanctuary) The staff is nice, but English is very limited. The rooms differ quite a bit, even though we booked the same rooms, our friends had a beautiful master suite, while we had a very small room. The rooms are very very basic and old, and the only reason I feel the price without discount is way too overpriced (26 usd instead of 70usd). Food is rather limited and drinks are too (just the basics: soda's, beer). For diner we took our motorbikes and drove 7km for delicious seafood - in what was the only restaurant in the vicinity of 10km :D The resort was empty apart from our group, which is if you want privacy a great idea. It can however feel quite abandoned also. So: Go! Have fun. Bring your own snacks, bring a motorbike so you can get around,..

Quiet Place ”
We only spent 1 night at River Ray, it was very enjoyable for us nice and quiet with a nice view of the river and only a short walk to the beach. A swim in the sea was very good the water clean and warm. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Perfect for total relax,very nice sunset view ”
We spend just one night in the hotel, but the experience was perfect. The staff is very very nice, the swimingpool is nice and downstairs the pool the view of the sunset by the river is very relaxing. Restaurant is ok, and the place in general is completly relax, not a lot of things to do around just enjoy the peace. Definetly would come back!

Review: Staff, Beach, Rooms”
Staff was very friendly and hardworking. But very overworked 😕 One girl was both waitress and receptionist working more than 8 hr shift. during our 3 day stay. Shame on the owner! The cook was very noisy barking orders from the kitchen to everyone. And chatting very loudly with the gardener. Staff needs more professional training when it comed to quietly serving customers. Being loud and showy that you are working is not a sign of good hospitality. Also the staff all look like they belong to 1 family and were living at the premises. Good on the owner for hiring the entire family but...the little girl about 4 yrs old although very cute, treated the restaurant as her play ground, her yoys were scattered around and she was of course noisy. We stayed during Tet holiday so I can understand that in Vietnam this could just be a coincidence? Perhaps family visiting? I hope that its not everyday because it felt like we were in a homestay rather than a resort. The waves at the beach during this time was choppy and strong. The rooms on the beach front need constant mosquito spraying and beds were lumpy, we could already feel the springs popping up. I really like this place between sea and river so I hope the owner takes more care of both staff and space.

10 miles of beach for our own”
We had a peacful and quiet stay in our rustical and jungle like bungalow. The restaurant and the beach were only a short walk away and on the way there are a lot of things to discover. The perfect place to be on your own, find some silence and explore the wonderful lonesome beaches.

Oceanside comfortable old resort great customer service”
We stayed in Medina 2 unit. It faces the ocean and is about 100 yards from the beach with a small Grove of tall trees between. It has a comfortable bed (double I think), two air conditioners that work well, a living area/dining/kitchen with refrigerator. Stove doesn't work. No kitchen stuff but you can ask for basics like plates, cups, silverware. Don't plan to cook. We stayed 4 days so they gave us a giant water container for drinking - saves on plastic. It was Tet (new year) so staff was less than normal but also fewer guests so it worked out. The grounds are fairly clean & quiet all the time other than kids having fun and some adults having fun in the evening. Around lunch time, the vacant property next door has some sort of gathering with semi-loud local music but not too bad. The weather at this time of year is wonderful. Sunny days, decent humidity and temperatures are 30 in the day and 24 at night. Very comfortable and warm enough to swim in pool /ocean. See Google maps 4 more

Mosquito everywhere ”
- Good: this resort is very quite, nice decoration with friendly staff. - Bad: First, it have too much mosquitoes and other kind of very small insect in both resort & beach, even i 've used mosquito repellent, but it didn't work. My legs are having a lot of itchy rash, more than 02 days & it's still super itchy. Secondly, the breakfast, except banh mi, everything are completely tasteless.

if you are adventurous, then you would love the natural view, peaceful, quiet, but when i crossed the bridge in the hotel, there was a green snake- its safe but what you do if your kids see! nearby attraction there is only seafood market, other places are far to go (>20km), there is no mall, no cafe, grocery store is near to walk. bed is scaring, i had bed bug bite! it was raining 2 days and after the rain, i can see dust on the bed. breakfast is super nice, staff is friendly, pool is clean and nice view (but only 152cm deep), near beach (100m walk) my point is not to recommend for family.

We needed to change rooms”
We booked a wooden house. There was a rat or two. After some dialogue, we were moved to a big beach house that probably wasn't used much or recently. There was intermittent water and not much in the way of toiletries. After we mentioned the water situation to her, Tam sent someone to look into it and we had water by the evening. The beach pretty much made up for all of it. It is a peaceful place if you don't need to be anywhere else.

Large garden sheds and not much to do”
The area has very little to do. The beach is very average, much better beaches further north. The place itself wasn't like the photos. It smelled damp, the area wasn't pretty or well maintained and had a view of the river/swamp. The price was 1.3 million for the night but I've stayed in much better for 350k vnd. The breakfast was a banh mi with little choice. The staff were pleasant enough but quite inattentive. We wouldn't stay there again.

A/C was lound, the mosquito net was broken, tea bags were available but no keetle to heat up the water... Nice surroundings but a bit overpriced as the house was definitely not maintained (broken stairs). Staff was pretty polite and friendly. Perfect place to bring your dog.

Very good”
Staff were nice, but only brought us new towels for 1 of the 4 days we were there (on the day we arrived, we had new towels of course), but facilities a little run down, location was ok. The pictures looked nicer than reality.
