Fine, older property with character”
The staff were very pleasant. I stayed here as an approved ASQ facility. The food was good, but I couldn’t really use much of the amenities due to quarantine restrictions, but it wasn’t a bad place to be for 15 days. Cable/satellite could be a lot better, but I don’t really watch tv. Internet was excellent and helped the time pass a little easier by getting online easily and quickly. If I had to do quarantine again I would likely choose the Royal Benja again for staff and value.

Quarantine Hotel”
I am staying here for quarantine so I have not been able to go out and sight see but I can see that the BTS is very close so that means you are close to everything! The staff here are very nice and well organized. There is a good way to communicate in place so if you need anything you can easily get it. There is also a bathtub, which I really like. It helps to soak away time!

I have used this hotel for around 20 years. Yes 20 years. Why? For its location to the USA Embassy and Bumrungrad hospital. I can and do walk to the USA Embassy from here. This stay was for my annual physical at Bumrungrad hospital. Over time the staff I still know remember me. For me this hotel has it all. Cost, location, location, location. Oh I am retired and live in Thailand.

An adequate ASQ stay”
I stayed here for my alternative state quarantine (ASQ) during early April 2021. I don't have experience with doing quarantine anywhere else, and ASQ is, of course, not your normal kind of hotel stay, so take this review in consideration of these limitations. In my experience staff were very friendly and responsive. They were accommodating if you wanted to go out to the pool area (after your first covid test result is negative), and you can order extra food whenever you want. As for the regular food, it was just OK. To really get through the stay comfortably I had to order coffee every morning and an extra meal for dinner. Internet was sadly not as fast as I needed. I had several Zoom / Microsoft team calls to make during my ASQ and connection was always choppy. It was doable but not good. The room type I had was deluxe and it was very spacious, with a nice view of the city. This helped make my stay more tolerable (considering I cannot go anywhere, this is all I had to look at).

Enjoyable hotel ( with poor wifi”
Great location, super views form upper floors, clean, large rooms , comfortable beds, good breakfast ( although biased towards chinese style food) and friendly staff. The internet is terrible, though.; takes an age to connect to the wifi signal and is so slow as to be almost unworkable, if you manage to connect to any sites at all, as they usually time-out due to the connection speed. I Imagine the hotel response would be its free so don't complain, but if you cant connect then free or not, its not a bonus. I ended up tethering my phone to 4G network, thus incurring roaming charges, but at least I could open emails and so on and do searches with no problem.

ASQ ”
Spending 15 nights of quarantine at the Royal Benja was better than I expected. My room was clean, the shower was strong and hot, wifi was good with a router in the room, the view of the city was pretty nice, the food choices were good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I needed anything like a set of 10 pound dumbbells, a broom and dustpan, more bottled water or shampoo, it would be delivered to my room within 10 minutes. Everything seemed very organized and they would let me know a day ahead of my Covid tests. All in all it was a pleasant stay and now that I'm back to my busy life, I will sometimes joke about wanting to go back to quarantine life.

Ideal 1 night stay for Covid quarantine”
I only booked because I planned to sleep and await my Covid result for test and go, so I didn’t experience the entire hotel, but what I did get to see was good, the service and protocols for covid check in was very efficient and organised, the food that was served was tasty and filling, the views over Bangkok skyline were pretty good albeit seemingly a bit subdued but that’s understandable, the room was big and spacious with everything you would need, the location is some way out from any of the tourist sites, but as I was sleeping and quarantined the location didn’t affect me, overall I would stay here again, perhaps only as a stop off, recommended

Staff read the message but not reply ”
I have recommended the hotel to my friend, and he met the new policy problem. I asked for several times politely, the sales department read but not reply. Although they give me the rejection answer I also can accept, but no reply is very bad manner. But when receive money, reply fast. ^_^
