Great service”
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was large and comfortable. Not much street noise came through even though it was located on a main road. East access to restaurants and attractions. The receptionist staff especially Nune, got me out of the bind. My SIm Card plan expired and by the time I got notification, all the stores were closed. She got in contact with a connection and was able to get my SIM Card refiled remotely. Many thanks to her! Highly recommended.

We stay in this Hotel the second time. Rooms are realy good, the roomservice is brilliant. I try manay dishes already and I can say delicious and much for the price. The Pool is clean and big enough for swimming. For me the best is the breakfast ! Larg selection and dayli changing hot food. The location is close to the old town ( 5 min. walking only), so perfect too. Stuff is super friendly and helpfull. I realy like this Hotel !

From the moment you arrive you get that good feeling. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the room was just perfect for us. Good size with a large bathroom with a good shower. Clean and despite us leaving a card on the bed about not needing to change the bedding, they did anyway. Breakfast was very good with a large choice. Okay not lots for westerners but it was more than made up for with everything on offer. Good omelettes or scrambled eggs freshly cooked. Location was ideal for the Old Town and the Sunday Night Market was only 10 minutes walk away. Just right for us. Would most definitely stay here again if we were in Phuket again.

Rooms are spacious and have all amenities one would expect. Reception staff is very helpful and gave us early check in. It has most highly equipped gym of any hotel and pool size is large as well. Every night there is live singing show in lobby. The bakery attached has some of the best desserts in phuket and prices are very reasonable. Its in city center, very close to bus terminal, downtown market and other places. Breakfast was also great, they had like 8 dishes and multiple desserts every morning with live egg station.

When staying at this hotel despite being in the heart of Phuket it is very serene, tranquil & I would class this as a high-end hotel. Every aspect of the service provided from all the staff reception, breakfast/dinner cleaners to luggage handler is all carried out with the upmost care & respect. Any enquiries are dealt with in an efficient swift manner. We had a lovely stay it felt like coming home from a long days sight seeing on our return. The breakfast is varied everyday, you are spoilt for choice. The facilities are also excellent, fitness room, gym, sauna, swimming pool... There was also a vocalist accompanied by a piano player every evening. 5 stars top notch, the hard work of the staff pays off. I forgot to mention the sleep quality, excellent.

Great hotel, just not for smokers”
Exactly what my title says. Hotel is amazing, clean, good service. My only gripe is that it’s a smoke free hotel hence we changed hotels shortly after. This hotel is perfect as a family vacation hotel / non smokers. A great hotel I would introduce as an alternative to Phuket Royal would be Baan Suwantuwe - perfect for smokers with a big balcony.

Unfortunately I only stayed here for one night. The price paid for the hotel room was very reasonable and didn't expect too much. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi. The facilities and cleaners of the property was very impressive. Staff at check in were very friendly helped me by arranging a taxi to the port for my Phi Phi Island speedboat. The room facilities are modern. And the room itself is very spacious. Situated on the 9th floor even had a view of old town. I have travelled alot and stayed at alot of various places. But was very impressed overall during my limited time at this property. Ensure you come on a Sunday for the night market a short stroll from the hotel.

Amazing staff and awesome public facilities ”
We were treated to most wonderful stay by the staff at the Royal Phuket City Hotel. The assistance by front of house staff was excellent, Poppy and Nice helped us organise so many day trips and even helped to get us some discounts, all with a beautiful Thai smile and absolutely genuine wish to help. The restaurant staff were amazing especially at the girls at “Good Eatz” who were an absolute delight and very professional in their jobs. The head chef almost everyday was out in the restaurant asking us how were were and how the service was going, also regularly we were passed by other managers who always asked how we were and how our stay was going. The door staff were brilliant as well, it is obvious that management leads by example and the result is staff of the highest calibre, oh and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job everyday. Would I stay there again, Yes in a heart beat, whilst the lobby and bar are magnificent it is the staff and their genuine delivery of service that is amazing. Poppy in reception was a standout in a team of the best hotel staff I have encountered.

We stayed in hotel for 9 nights. Hotel is located close to old town area. Stuff is friendly and reacts to requests very quicky. Hotel has big parking. Pool is clean and big. Restaurant is great! We recommend Royal Phuket City Hotel for short and long stays in Phuket Town.

Excellent Old School Hotel in Phuket Town”
Really liked this hotel: old fashioned but quite lovely, especially the foyer which has a nice cocktail bar. Staff were friendly and helpful. Got upgraded to a large superior room on 15th floor, which I’d recommend. Only negative was the lack of vegetarian options for breakfast — without the egg station, I would have been stuck with rice, pastries and toast. Hotel is close to interesting bars and restaurants. Road to Patong Beach was out due to a landslide while I was there, but I really enjoyed my stay in the Old Town.

Spaces and comfortable room. Location is just opposite bus station and 6 mins walk to the old town. There are also cafes, restaurants and convenience store around the hotel. Cleanliness in room can be improve. I stay in different level/floor and found that 5th floor cleanliness is the best. Thank you so much housekeeping team at the 5th floor. Stayed here for 5 night and was overwhelmed with the value. OK, the hotel was built nearly 30 years ago so don't expect 2023 modern decor, but if you're after a comfortable bed for a few nights right in the heart of Phuket town then I would highly recommend The Royal Phuket City hotel. Breakfast was very good, Gym, Spa and parking all available. Hope to return again soon.

Overall everything was good…, but never request transportation to airport at the receptionist. They offered a ridiculous price like a double of the total charges. I asked them and someone said 1,200.00 bath to airport, we took a taxi and we paid only 640.00 bath. Be carful..!!! That is only my suggestion

We loved this hotel so much, we returned to it again. It is incredibly low priced for the beautiful room, spacious, clean and modern. The lobby and restaurant definitely 5star and very swanky. Food was great. Staff, especially the young woman tending the bar, were super nice! Walking distance to old city full of wonderful restaurants and shops.
