Good stay at Rua Rasada”
This is a spacious hotel for meetings and events. Breakfast choices are limited. Great coffee machine ! Room is clean, but need to be updated (very small bathroom, dim lighting, etc.) If you need to shave ... lighting is so bad, you can't see yourself in the mirror ! Friendly staff and front desk. Transfer to airport (15 mins away) is 400thb for 4 people. Nice swimming pool to relax. Walking distance to Robinson shopping complex. But, hotel does not offer transportation to Robinson. You have to walk or call tuk tuk (30baht per person), then wait 10-15 mins to get a ride to anywhere. Just outside of Robinson (toward the back), there are several brand new self-laundry machines and dryers (outside -open air). Massage spa on 2nd floor of Robinson.

Location: Excellent on the major highway and next to a shopping mall (Robinson & Starbucks, for example) Cleanliness: Excellent overall. My room and outside environment were all well maintained. Staff: Service-minded and very attentive. Well trained for a 4-5 stars hotel. Facilities: Have everything that I needed and more. Good restaurant on site. Plenty of parking space. Spa & massage on site (Let's Relax). Exercise room & swimming pool which I haven't used. Great value for money when considered staying in one of the best hotels in Trang.

We stayed just one night at Rua Rasada in transit to some southern Thai islands. The staff at Rua Rasada were exceptional. They came and picked us up at the bus station and arranged our ground and boat transfer the next day to our island destination. The included breakfast in the morning was fantastic and all other hotel amenities were lovely. We wished we would have had a longer stay!!

Clean, comfortable room with lots of amenities”
I lived behind this hotel for a year in the mid-2000s, and it was a joke. A massive, dilapidated hotel with few guests that seemed to be going down like the Titanic it resembles. The whole place has recently been thoroughly renovated. It's clean, spacious, and the pool, gym, restaurants, and bar were all great. It's only about 15 min from the airport.
