"We stayed at the Westin Rusutsu hotel after its rebranding. They provided free transport from Sapporo which can be booked via their website. The view from our room was great! The onsen was also comfortable, especially the outdoor onsen. Most of the staff could speak in good English. We were thankful towards the staff who helped to make the effort to arrange for a birthday cake to celebrate my mum's birthday. The food at the Japanese restaurant was good but the range of food for the breakfast buffet can be improved. Overall a great place for families with children."

"My friend and I stayed in villa rusutsu for 5 days and 5 nights. We loved the homely and cosy cabin lodge! The villa managers Jurgen and Gudrun were excellent. They were prompt to attend to all our needs, and even helped us out with ski rentals. They were always prompt with fetching us to and fro the ski resort. The man made onsen (ofuro) is opened 24h a day, and was a great reprieve to our aching legs after a day of skiing. Bathing essentials were also provided. All in all a very pleasant stay at villa rusutsu, and will recommend it to our friends."
