We enjoyed very much!”

The rayokan is very pleasant and with traditional elements. Dinner was really delicious. A private onsen on the rooftop is available ( in addition to public onsen) and was a very nice experience. A shuttle from and to Yudanaka train station is available. The staff was very kind and helpful with everything. The hotel manager was extremely nice and helpful as well!! We appreciated her recommendations. We would visit again if in the area.

Amazing experience!! We chose this ryokan because of its proximity to the Snow Monkey Park, and it was perfect! The staff drove us there and picked us up with our luggage to take us to the train station since we were only staying one night, and we had just enough time to get there, enjoy the monkeys and the scenery, and walk back! The public and private onsen were also amazing and I really recommend trying it if you’ve never been to one! Also, the futons here are very comfortable if you want to try one for the first time!

I really like the free ryokan shuttle bus that fetched us from Yudanaka station to the ryokan and also the free ride to the Snow Monkey Park. Staff were so helpful and polite, they loan us the shoe grippers to wear over our shoes to prevent us from falling when walking on the snowy path towards the park and that really was a good gesture. Highly recommended.

Excellent accomodation, easy walk from station, great onsen. ”

This has been a great stay. We are in the Japanese Western room which combines the best of both worlds. Very spacious , tatami dining, western beds( albeit a little ‘ springy’). The onsen is wonderful. Located between Yudanaka station and Shibu Onsen . Lovely bar/ lounge area. Staff are excellent. We were driven tonight to a restaurant after my husband asked for a recommendation and there was no hesitation to drive us there in the snow. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Hot Springs Trip”

Breakfast and dinner have a strong Japanese flavor. The hot spring water temperature is comfortable. The only downside is that there is no toilet in the room. You need to go out and use the toilet on the same floor. However, the public toilet is clean and hygienic. Went in February and there was snow. The environment is pleasant. The staff service attitude is very polite and friendly. Overall, the accommodation is very comfortable and makes you feel at home, without any discomfort.
